China Taste

Chums Shrimp Shack was delicious and not what I expected. The staff was super nice and food was delivered in a speedy manner. It was my first time here, but if I'm back in the area I sure will stop in again and get me more shrimp food items.

Recently moved to the area and was looking for decent Chinese food. This place was nearby so we gave it a go.Ordered crab Rangoon and a small pork lo mein, The crab Rangoon was fabulous! Loved the triangle shape, generous filling, and tasty dipping sauce. The lo mein was delicious as well. Particularly appreciated the onions and mushrooms in the lo mein which added a nice twist.I only wish the lo mein came in a smaller portion. I ordered the small and it was way too much. Noodles don't reheat well for me, so leftovers of this don't work for me.It looks like the place was recently renovated and the staff were friendly and helpful. Appreciated the self service condiments!Will definitely return for that awesome crab Rangoon!

Very good Chinese served hot and fast. Fried rice had excellent flavor and texture and General C's chicken was very flavorful and done well. My friend enjoyed the crab Rangoons, free egg rolls and white rice. Will be back. Hard working staff!

Found this place on the way home. Good food that was made quickly with no mistakes in the order. Looking forward to our next trip

Love this place. Never had a bad meal here. Chicken and pea pods was excellen!

Parked in front to take a phone call, Staff in the back was coughing and sneezing with out wearing masks. Told the person at register. Her reply was that they are vaccinated.

Used to love it = but tonight was the food was absolutely awful. The chicken was some fat rubbery substance. In fact I could not even recognize it so I called to let them know, I got the wrong order. Nope, that's it.....Even the egg drop soup was clear with zero taste. Sorry to say we will not return and looking for a new Chinese restaurant.

recently moved to Fox Lake ordered Orange Beef got chicken??? Crab Rangoon appetizer was good. Wont go back...

On a whim we found China Taste after all of McHenry's Chinese restaurants were overloaded- so glad we did! Best Chinese food in the area! Super fresh and good quality. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
