On a random Tuesday night I got the buffet here. The steam tables had the staples. There were small portions available, which is fine. They were out there most of the time refilling items. The food was hot enough and not dried out. There were a few patrons and I could see that the kitchen was busy. I talked to a couple outside who were ordering online. You pay first then they just let you go sit. They don't come and bother you while you are eating. I had 6 plates. For the price I'd come back again.

This may be the meanest review I'll ever write. Stop reading now if that will bother you. Was told once that if I can't say ANYTHING nice to say nothing at all...so here's the nice part. The place was clean and the staff was friendly, especially the cashier...of course knowing what they were dishing out her friendliness might have been the fake kind, like you might expect from a hospice nurse. We did not do the 'hot pot', just the buffet. Perhaps that accounts for other reviews giving more than one star. The first warning sign was all the chafing dishes at the buffet, except for the deep fried items, were nearly empty...with just a mouthful more than a single scoop in each. Of the nine items making it to my first and only plate...three were spitbacks and five were one-bite-and-dones...only the egg roll, which was almost certainly the boxed sysco frozen variety, got finished. They missed on most every basic expectation (even one already lowered for buffets). Tepid, not hot. Greasy. Obviously reheated. Overcooked. Oversalted. Change your frying oil. Every item had at least two of these fatal flaws. Every single one. My dining companion asked rhetorically, "how can you f@$k up a crab rangoon"? Well....see above. This was A PROFOUNDLY bad PTSD-inducing experience. And not cheap either. Cost cutting at the expense of the patron at every opportunity.In conclusion, it WILL make a turd, if you can keep it down. (It's nearly a turd already).A REALLY mean person might suggest that this buffet was so awful it could make a person change their opinion about American immigration policies. Act of war bad...I'm not THAT mean, but if after all my negative comments you still feel compelled to try this place, at least call ahead and ask which day they cook items fresh. Hint, it isn't on Wednesdays...The Mayor of Germantown should get a call. That bad.

I ordered Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. It had No Flavor and ran like water. I added soy sauce and even that didn't help. I ordered five Fortune Cookies and only received two.Disappointed with my order.

Huge selection of items in this buffet. For about $13 you get unlimited Chinese food and a fountain drink. There is so much to choose from, including chicken items, rice items, noodle items and much more.The workers are kind and polite and keep an eye on the buffet to make sure it is stocked. This is not a small buffet, there is plenty to choose from. After your meal there are several flavours of ice cream to choose from.Definitely worth the money because there is so much variety. The quality of the food is great too.

Ordered takeout for my husband and I, I got the sesame chicken and my husband got general Tao chicken and neither was correct. They basically have us the exact same entree of what tasted like orange chicken and just sprinkled sesame seeds on mine. I'll never order from here again. Very disappointed.

I ended up here after listening to a co worker say the place down the street has the best egg rolls but failed to mention that they are not open for lunch on Saturday and I didn't check.China kitchen seems to do it all with take out, dine in menu, buffet with sushi and a Mongolian/hibachi grill all in one place. Since I was there I and not super hungry I didn't do the buffet and still wanted egg rolls, I ordered an egg roll and my favorite, Singapore noodles. The place itself looked pretty cool, clean, modern with neon lighting. The buffet looked like it had 5 stations with sushi to desserts and everything in between.The egg roll was not the great egg roll I'm searching for but it was better than average. The Singapore Mei Fun was ordered extra spicy and felt weighty so I weighed it and it was 2 pounds 4 ounces. The Singapore noodles is a thin rice noodle with beef, pork and shrimp with a curry flavor is the basic idea and the curry flavor intensity varies from place to place. The Singapore noodles were spiced up as I asked but the curry flavor one of the weaker ones. It was tasty with an ok amount beef, pork and shrimp but it was not the best or worst that I have had and I still have my favorite place.With that being said I found the place to be average because nothing really wowed but nothing was horrible. The lunch buffer is $8.50 with a drink and $10.95 for dinner as of my visit.

I waited for 20 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready. Got home and it was wrong. When I finally got the right order, beef with vegetables, it was delicious.

Hotpot is great when they have all items. I feel cheated when they tell you they don't have any more of that item on the hotpot menu. Sure,.,...,.. other than that when it's stock it's worth it.
