China Garden

Decided to take a flyer at this restaurant a few weeks ago. I had driven by it a number of times rarely seeing many cars in their parking lot, often an indicator quality.Only one person was dining in and one other waiting for an order to go. Resisting an urge to leave, I was soon greeted cordially by the hostess who gave me time to plan my order to go.The order was well packed and didn't leak during the drive, a pleasant surprise. We found the food portions ample and very good tasting even after rewarming.No notion can be offered as to why this restaurant appears poorly attended. The premises are decently clean, the staff friendly and the food very good. How much more can one ask? Hopefully, they'll be able to remain in business for a long time.

My family are huge on Chinese takeout and we first tried China Garden when we moved to Delavan. Unfortunately I was very disappointed as 2 of our chicken meals were dry and gritty. It was impossible to chew through so I had to take the meals back and get a refund. We will not be returning. I recommend eating at China 1 or Kings Bowl if you're looking for good Chinese food in Delavan Wi.

Delilah Chines and Japanese especially good is the dragonfly roll! Spacious seating, fast pick up, good portions for a reasonable price, overall amazing food. For it just being the two family members they go above and beyond with their food. Newer owners definitely give China garden another shot!!!

This place can close down ordered 3 person dinner combo. They used the same sauce pepper steak to make the kung pow chicken. Asked to return in exchange for another pepper steak. I was told no and waitress walked away and told me call her when ready to pay bill. Never returning please be careful on what you order here.

Please don't go! It's the worst food ever!The place is nasty and food is horrible. We throw out all our food worth $85.00. It's not cheap either.

Excellent sushi!!!! If you are a sushi lover in need of your fix in the Delavan or Lake Geneva area this is the spot. We placed a large order for takeout and our needs were met and exceeded. Fish was fresh and everything was delicious. Will absolutely return!!!!

got food poisoning, Bacillus cereus to be specific, but the hostess was sweet, the atmosphere was good, and the food was amazing. i'm tempted to return but i'm afraid of getting sick again haha. all in all, go at your own risk.. it might be worth it

The lomein is amazing best I've ever had. The honey walnut shrimp are amazing too by far my favorite thing in the menu.

The best Chinese spot in Delavan! The owners (husband and wife duo) are very sweet and, once our family quickly became regulars, they took the time to remember our custom orders (lots of food allergies). The food is always fresh tasting and not soaked in salt like the other places in town. We have only dined in a handful of times, but it's usually a to-go sort of place. Great portions, good prices, can't go wrong!

Whenever I try a new or different Chinese Restaurant I always order sweet and sour chicken. It's a basic dish and tells you alot about the quality and care that goes into the food preparation. I ordered from a very pleasant individual. When my order arrived I received a large order of chicken and a small container of white ice and a side of sweet and sour sauce. I have no idea why the order taker would think i wanted that much food. My first bite exploded with disappointment. The fried chicken tasted of old oil. My pet peeve. Change your oil! Quality retaurants change their oil on a regular basis. China Garden does not. I recommend you avoid this restaurant.
