Loved this restaurant! There is a bar area and dining with nice sided tables. Our waitress was amazing and so patient and helpful. The cook asked if we wanted our pretzels chopped up to share (how fricken nice) and the service was so fast! Apps were 10/10. Mac was delicious, slaw was too soupy for me, meats were delicious. Must go here if you're in Oshkosh.

A girls brunch brought me to Chester V's for some chit chat, yummy food and a good bloody mary.This one is some doctored up Zing Zang Mix topped with a pickle, olive, lemon and lime. Let me tell you the pickle was delicious!The bloody itself had just a little spice and was worchestershire forward. Definitely recommend giving it a good stir. But other than that, yum! I stopped by here for lunch the other day while I was in town per recommendation of some locals. VERY SATISFYING. The only thing I regret was not ordering a Spotted Cow while I was here since I don't live within the state of Wisconsin. Guess I'll have to pay another visit soon. :)I had their Gastro Burger which was huge. The half pound beef patty was super high quality and topped with Montamore cheese and another quarter pound of pork and duck bacon. HELLO WISCONSIN. The bun wasn't a standard sort of hamburger bun but more of like a ciabatta hybrid bun, where it held the burger together well but wasn't tough to eat. Overall a very juicy and meaty burger! Gotta compliment on that Montamore cheese... never had it before but it was very unique and delicious in the burger!They have these awesome high top tables in the bar area where you can pour your own beer so be sure to grab a seat at one of these tables. Each of these tables has four different taps AAAND did I mention it's only $0.25 per ounce? $4 beers?! WTH, so cheap. Our server was great and I think the manager even checked up on us while we where there. Only docked a star because the pint glasses they had brought out to us had a bit of water in them and weren't dried properly, and also the beers from the self pour at our table would sometimes pour out super foamy (this could be user error, but I think everyone at our table had at least one beer poured out that came out more foamy than desired). Anyways aside from that, great food, great service, and a good value IMO. I would come by again if I were in town. Til next time, cheers!

I judge my fish fry on the Cole slaw. Is it cold? It's weird, fancy etc... I enjoy standard, cold slaw. And they did a good job here. Slaw was cold, fish was hot and crispy, bread was well buttered. As WIsco as it gets. Had a great waitress too. Will be back.

Amazing restaurant and environment. The staff is so friendly and want to make sure they get everything right. Their Saturday breakfasts are amazing! I have never had anything I did not like. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in the area or is driving through.

Took my folks here as my parent was in the mood for a burger and a friend suggested stopping here. It was early on a Saturday afternoon, so there wasn't a whole lot of people. We were seated right away and very prompt service. My luck that they serve brunch from 9am-2pm on Saturday and Sundays and the pulled pork benedict was calling my name!The eggs were perfectly cooked, the pork was tender, and boy I love hollandaise sauce! I also took the option of cheesy hashbrowns as my server recommended it. That hit the spot! I was full from the benedict that I couldn't finish the hash browns or toast! My Dad was very happy with with mushroom swiss burger said it hit the spot! My Mom, also craving brunch, got french toast. The presentation of the toast was magnificent, and the server put the berries on the french toast. She said the cooks usually put it on the side. Tip, ask for the berries on the french toast...way better! I'm definitely need to come here again as they have a great tap beer selection as some tables are self serve with four different beer taps...count me in!
