Chen's Gourmet

I really wanted take out one night, and I had read really good reviews for Chen's so I figured I'd give it a try.To start, the person who brought us our food was extremely nice. He was very kind and thanked us for our business several times. I ordered the Crab Rangoon, Shrimp and Broccoli, and an order of the Spring Rolls. To start, the Spring Rolls were probably the best thing out of everything I ordered, but nothing special. The Crab Rangoon was SO SWEET. Like it tasted almost like dessert icing inside of the deep fried shell. I took a couple bites to try and figure out what it actually was and then couldn't eat anymore because of how sweet it was. Finally, the Shrimp and Broccoli was disappointing. The sauce it was in was so watery that it was unappetizing to eat. This is something I get all of the time when I get take-out, but I've never had it where it was so runny. Usually there's more of a thickness to the sauce it's in. It just wasn't what I had expected. I felt like it was a waste for the money I had spent on dinner that night which was disappointing. Overall, I feel like this was maybe an off night considering the rest of the reviews. I'd like to try a few other places first thought before we come back.

I requested my order gluten free. Within two minutes or placing my order, they took the time to call and speak to me about gluten free options for my food. I've never had a restaurant take the time to do this! So kind!! He brought the order outside to me in the car. Couldn't recommend enough! The food is so good! Best Chinese food I've had. They were above and beyond in customer service!

My family & I order our dinner on Saturday June 19th @ 5:30p which was our first time. Once we pulled up; the business had clear signage outside for customer's to call in their order & someone will bring your food out after you text or call once arrive. The service was great, the guy was friendly that took our order & brought the food out. We ordered pint chicken fried rice, 2 quarts of shrimp fried rice & fried chicken. All our food was made to order & prices are reasonable as well which range from $5-10 depending on what you order. We did try their eggrolls & springs rolls (mini spring rolls not normal sized) & we did not like the taste of either. We were very pleased & excited to finally find a great tasting Chinese restaurant near us & know which items to order for our next visit.

We ordered takeout. Price was good, good amount of food, overall the meals were tasty. 2 downsides- The general tsao's chicken and the crab rangoon's were so sugary sweet (not desired). The chicken is supposed to be spicy, there was no spice at all, it tasted like simple syrup from making a mixed drink, the chicken was also bright red.

Good food, service, price (considering Biden Harris out of control inflation). Simon is great.

Food is always amazing! I'm not sure they have dine in as I've never tried so can't talk about the ambience. I always do take out and the guy that brings out the food is always very friendly and always has a smile on his face. Makes me feel very welcomed

Customer service was amazing. I ordered crab Rangoon, vegetable spring rolls, egg drop soup, and vegetable fried rice. I think all of it was great, the sweet and sour sauce is unlike any I've had before but it paired nicely. This is my second time ordering from this restaurant and I will be back.

Best Chinese i have had in the area with friendliest owner who brings out the food. This is my go to spot several times a month. I highly recommend the egg rolls and fried rice

Service is amazing but food is just ok. white and fried rice were both too hard, undercooked. Szechwan beef was all carrots and bamboo, maybe 10 good pieces of meat. That was disappointing.
