Warning: do NOT come here if you're on a diet...because you won't be able to resist the goodness.Located inside Gurnee Mills Mall...this place is amazing! Ok, it's fast food but it's sooo good!!! Seriously. I don't care much for steak or steak sandwiches...but the Philly CheeseSteak is just phenomenal! I discovered this place about a year ago by accident actually. My dad & bro are obsessed with Philly CheeseSteak's and I was getting them lunch. They ordered from Great Steak & Potato but since I was at the other end of the mall, I (luckily) found Charley's Steakery at the nearest food court and history was made.I've tried their Bacon 3Cheese Steak, Philly CheeseSteak, and Turkey Cheddar Melt. ALL AMAZING, of course!Their fries are to die for. Absolutely scrumptious!! They have:-cheddar-cheddar & bacon-ranch & baconand-cheddar, ranch & bacon.BUT...for those on a diet, there IS a salad menu. There's also a yummy lemonade menu with 3 different flavors: original, kiwi lemonade, and raspberry lemonade.Also, this is a chain. Charley's is my #1 food choice everytime I go bargain hunting at Gurnee Mills Mall. I usually get the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, but you can't go wrong with the traditional Philly Cheesesteak. The man who runs the place is always very kind and gives me a free side of cheese. Once in awhile, a cute and sassy asian girl works till which makes the visit even more enjoyable!Cheers to Charley and the gang.

Avoid. This things are everything but not Philly Steaks! For medium combo paid over $10. Even Subways Philly Steak submarine tastes better. So from me just one star today.

Great fresh to order sandwiches. And the fries, omg, plain, or with cheese and bacon you name it, are amazing! I work in the mall and it's so hard to resist, so I go about 3 times a month. Staff is friendly, and do a great job! Not diet food, but seriously here, Philly steak and fries...enough said!

I was the first customer and the man was making my ultimate cheese fries. He grabbed a cup of cheese and took it to the back. He came back and it wasn't quickly. It was a little after that he poured it into my stuff now normally they pour everything right there right where you can see them pouring your stuff inside of Your container he went to the back with my cheese and came back and poured it on my fries and then put the rest of the stuff on your front of me. I feel like he did something to my cheese. I noticed when he came back with my cheese and he poured it on there. The lady looked back at him with a concerned look and now I'm concerned what did he do to my cheese usually they would pour the cheese. They will pour the cheese on my fries. The crew here is extremely rude. They do not wear their masks over their nose and they will turn away people 10 mins till close, but take an order for a security guard 10 mins after close. My son just wanted a lemon aid, they fill it 3/4 and would not give him a refill even though they had a whole container still full. They apparently keep their food and drinks that are prepared for days instead of discarding them at night. That., the masks situation, no social distancing, disrespect and high prices during a pandemic...., NO THANKS!! They lost everyone I know. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Okay how do you make kiwi lemonade or where do you buy it from cause I can't seem to find it on the web and would like it for when I start a business I mean I loved working for the one in South Carolina I hated having to leave to move back to mass but we have one in mass and not sure how to apply. but absolutely loved the kiwi lemonade when I was at work I would often get the Italian sub with cheese fries and kiwi lemonade.

I ordered a Philly Steak sandwich and asked to switch the White American Cheese for Provolone and add Teriyaki sauce to a enhance the flavor. The order taker at the register repeated the order back to me correctly and the fry cook completely ignored the mods to the order on the screen. Simple request; just a lack of taking pride in your work. The sandwich I received was good, but not what I ordered.
