The Crab Rangoon & fortune cookies were good... the food, not so much. I've never had chicken like this before, you sure it's chicken!? It's so hard & fibrous in the most strange & unappetizing way. I literally have no idea what the heck I just got done chewing on!! The flavor didn't help the dish out either... I figured general toes would be the safest to order. Sorry Chang Jiang going to have to advise others to pass on this one.

Always very fresh ingredients, expertly made, always cooked perfectly. The shrimp are always juicy and the meats are tender and never over cooked. They will also customize orders for you or make you something you don't see on the menu. They are a kind family run business. Their egg drop soup is some of the best I've had. I always also order the egg rolls, crab rangoon, beef with broccoli, generals chicken, and the chicken with pineapple. I've never had a bad meal here in the last 5 years I've been coming. Also I love their lo mein dishes, always a good amount of meat included.

We just happened to be in the area and were starving. I'm always up for Chinese food so we stopped at this location in a strip mall. We dined in. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and Hubs the sweet and sour pork. The meal came with chicken fried rice. We also shared a wonton egg drop soup. Our food was served on real plates instead of the usual take out container. The food was hot and delicious. The s&s sauce was wonderful, not too sweet, not too sour. I eat my chicken dipped in hot mustard sauce and they had the real thing, not that crap in packets. The fried rice was chock full of chicken and the rice was brown in color and not that sickening yellow that I've come to expect The shrimp egg roll was loaded with shrimp and super crispy and the soup was fantastic. The broth was the right consistency, loaded with egg and the wontons were outstanding, just the right amount of meat and cooked to perfection. We so enjoyed the meal that we got beef fried rice to go and had it for dinner. I told the owner he should open a store in Wausau!

Food is hit or miss. Sometimes have trouble honoring certain food requests. They seem to "forget". One last complaint & it is a huge one. If you or family members happen to be people of color they are rude as hell!!!

Our whole family loves Chinese food and we were very disappointed with this food. The general tso was only ok and the Mongolian chicken was absolutely disgusting. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon are good though. Only place in town for Chinese food so I guess this is your only choice.

Chang Jiang has both take out and pick up. I usually order the Chicken Cashew or Chicken Broccoli and try to make it to the lunch time specials when I can. Outside of lunchtime a meal can be kind of on the pricier end but you get a LOT of food for your money so it gives me 2-3 other meals I can take home. The Crab Rangoon is great, and they have cookies as a dessert sort of sweet for after your dinner. The only thing I must say is that the store itself could use a little updating. It isn't modern by any standards nor very comfortable to eat sitting on the pull out chairs. There are about 4-5 tables to eat at there. I recommend it but actually feel like getting take out is the best since I like the comfort of my own home instead of the outdated surroundings of the restaurant itself. It's like I wouldn't want to go on a date with someone there. If they would put some money into modernizing their walls, floors, paint, pictures etc. it would be a nicer place for a sit down meal. Also, music would be nice as opposed to craning up your head to watch the TV they have hanging from the ceiling/wall. Great food though so give it a try at least once and see for yourself!
