Here for a Lions Club St Patrick's Corned Beef Dinner. Excellent meal and desserts. Bucket and 50/50 raffles were available along with entertainment including a girls Irish dancing troupe. This is the second time we have eaten here for a Lion event and we enjoyed it both times. There is a huge bar and tables that seat 8. Comfortable atmosphere and easy parking.

If only these walls could talk! The Chandelier Ballroom is so rich in the history of this area that you marvel when you enter its cavernous space to think of all who have walked through the doors before you!Built in 1928- this facility has been everything from an Eagles Club, to a dance hall, to a roller skating facility, to a detention center during WWII for German Nazi prisoners, to a popular bar/club in the 80's, to what it is today hosting weddings and other functions. The likes of Lawrence Welk, Joan Jett, Lucille Ball, the Four Seasons, Everly Brothers and more have played within these walls. It has been beautifully restored to it's original grandeur and although it has had several names over the decades . . . .and depending on when you grew up in the area people call it by different names, the Schwarz ballroom, or Marty Zivko's are two that I kept hearing the other night. The octagonal room is impressive with a huge art deco chandelier hanging from the highest point, a stage at one end and massive bars lining the right and left walls. The old fireside room which once was open as a restaurant now serves as a pre event gathering place, although they are thinking about re opening it as a stand alone restaurant for the local community.Having been to several weddings here, this is really an impressive facility to be found in a town of this size. The staff is also amazing- helpful, pleasant and always wanting to ensure that you have a good time at whatever event you are attending. And the food? Simple but quite tasty. While I am sure they have a range of menus to choose from, the last two times i have been here- it has been a buffet of fried chicken, beef stroganoff, and other comfort foods that taste like your mom invited you over for Sunday dinner. Except this dinner is for 500 of your closest friends!Such a rich history . . . . I love when buildings are saved and able to be around for the generations to come!

I can say that this place is GINORMOUS!! The Chandelier needless to say was beautiful, but the hall was simply astonishing. I was here for a wedding and I am use to a typical reception hall, but walking in to this hidden gem - with built in bars lining the left and right, a stage front and center with plenty of room for 1700 COUPLES, you feel tiny and alone in a room full of hundreds. The history of this place is quite unique as well. Build in 1926 (I believe), then used as a WWII POW camp until 1946 you would be shocked to believe that this town, this beautiful building, had such an impact on rebuilding America.

I am a videographer and I see a fair number of venues in my work. At first I was impressed primarily by the architecture and size of the establishment which was built in 1928 when grand was still in style. But after enjoying the tasty dinner prepared on site and receiving helpful service that went beyond what could normally be expected, I have to praise these folks for more than the architecture and history of the building. Great folks to work with for your event.

They didn't give me a chair, but when I said they didn't give me a chair, they gave me a chair. Foods pretty good. Servers were average. They look scared when you talk to them. Good experience overall.

My experience with Michelle Price, manager of events, was horrific. I went to the Chandelier Ballroom with my mother in order to book my New Year's Eve wedding. Michelle was late to our appointment due to a mix-up, which is understandable; however, she was incredibly rude. Any question I asked was an inconvenience. It was blatantly apparent that she did not want my business, which was odd, because the venue had yet to be booked five months before New Year's. I had three minimal requests that could not be met:1. I wanted champagne at midnight, which was $4 per glass. We were having complimentary wine and champagne being served all night, but I asked if they could just place mass quantities of champagne on the bar for my guests right before midnight. Michelle was going to charge an extra $1 fee per glass to do this. I felt this was unreasonable, as I was paying close to $1,000 for the champagne already and all night my guests could just go up to the bar and get champagne for free. She would rather lose the champagne sale than compromising on the "glass fee". 2. I planned on having my ceremony in the ballroom and did not want to rent the Fireside Room for 20 minutes between events, because I did not like it. I asked if we could just make an announcement after the ceremony to keep guests in the back of the ballroom by the bar and start the drinks while staffed turned over the space. Michelle could not do this, because she said she didn't have enough staff which was very odd; this would mean that they would probably be very short staffed the entire evening. You pay a 20% service fee for a reason, and it is not to be short staffed.3. I wanted to buy linens instead of rent them from the venue, because I could purchase them for the same price. I asked that when the servers clear the tables they just put the napkins in a bag for me, and I would clear the table cloths at the end of the night. Michelle said that the servers would not clear the napkins, because I bought them, and they would leave dirty napkins in front of the guests. It was like she was proud of this poor practice when she said it.Michelle was also rude to my mother which was unacceptable. When my mother called her out on her demeanor she snapped back at her. I calmly asked Michelle to act like a professional, and she could not manage to do that. I ended the meeting early, because I could not imagine working with a woman like that on such an important day. At first, I was devastated, because I had my heart set on the venue, but I found a much better space that is cleaner and more inclusive with free cake cutting, linens, candles, table mirrors, and more. They are even facilitating a free champagne toast, party favors, and balloon drop. There is no comparison between my new event coordinator and Michelle Price, because my new coordinator is going above and beyond, values my business, and is making the day very special for me.

Went to a concert to see Blackjack Billy and the Mantz brothers. Although this historic venue was fabulous...the organizers of the event were far from fabulous. First...the heat was not turned on in the main ballroom. We were so cold inside we had to keep our winter coats, hats and gloves on. Second....no chairs! Are you kidding..we arrived at 630 and would have had to stand until the end of the show at midnight. That is not acceptable. Also, VIP tickets provided no value. Meet n greet with the warm up band!! Rediculous. I will never see a band at this venue again.
