Celebration on Wells catering did my daughter's wedding and everything was absolutely delicious! The servers were calm and fun, the chef carved the meat in front of the guest and the cake was scrumptious! We were expecting typical wedding food, which would've been fine, but we got absolute gourmet quality food. Every bite was delicious and memorable. Even our singer said it was the best wedding food he has ever had!

This contemporary banquet and catering venue is airy and laid out nicely. The natural wood and stone main room has a soaring ceiling, and flowers and greenery mask the view of the parking lot. Two adjoining rooms house a bar and a service area where the buffet is set up (the main room is two steps down from the buffet - be careful!). The cushionless wooden chairs are not at all fanny-friendly, especially after 2+ hours. My group was here for a weekday lunch-and-entertainment event. The meal, served buffet-style, included a salad of seasonal mixed greens, rolls, mashed potatoes, mostaciolli sautéed in olive oil & garlic, chicken piccata, roasted vegetables (served cold), and chef-carved roast sirloin. Plated brownies were brought out for dessert. As far as banquet hall food goes, the quality was exceptional. The entertainer on this day, John Ludy Puleo, is a gifted vocalist who emulates the styles of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Bobby Darin, and other Las Vegas greats of the '50s-'80s. Following lunch, his nostalgic 90-minute show delighted the audience.I was underwhelmed by the service at this event. If you wanted a beverage other than water, you had to go and get it yourself. When I pointed out a soiled half-filled water glass to a server, he actually picked it up, examined it, gave me a ridiculous "explanation," and set it back down on the table! The guy carving the sirloin whittled off a tiny piece; when I asked for more, he made a face. Finally, it seemed rather odd that the restroom doors were propped wide open the entire time.

Celebration is consistently a fun, thoughtful, and delicious experience. I attended a party recently and was deeply impressed by the seven course tasting menu, perfect wine pairings, and phenomenal service. On top of that, the ambience is incredible with classic architectural features and stunning artwork. Absolutely book them for your next big event!

Our wedding is this September in Lake Geneva and we are using Celebration for both our rehearsal dinner and reception dinner. We did our initial tasting with Alethea, and she was so fantastic. She sat down with us and walked us through every component of the reception/bar/dinner. This was our first time at any caters' tasting so we had a lot of questions!Once we decided on Celebration, we met with Kyle to solidify our menu. He was knowledgeable about the food, presentation, and service components of the day. We are very much looking forward to our weekend!

Lovely place, but don't hold a wedding there. The layout for the wedding space is nuts. Instead of having the guests come in at the rear to get to their seats, the guests come in the front door right where the wedding altar is! So they have to literally walk through the wedding party to get to their seats. The space is great for a restaurant, but not for a wedding. Not everyone shows up early for a wedding, some guests can't help but arrive late. And when they do and the wedding is about to begin, guess what? They have to walk through the wedding party to find a seat. Why not have the door at the rear open? The next thing, for a restaurant, you'd think they know food and food trends going on in the world today. Something that's pretty much a no-brainer nowadays is veganism. What they serve vegans at a daytime wedding is a yogurt granola parfait, pancakes, cupcakes and a plate of eggs with cheese on it, alongside buttered potatoes. The poor bride and groom went out of their way to make sure the venue could accommodate a vegan (I doubt I was the only one) and when the waiter brought me the eggs, cheese and potatoes, I asked about the vegan plate. The waiter look puzzled and asked if that wasn't vegan (because it didn't have the 2 strips of bacon on it like all the other plates had). I said no, vegans don't eat animal products and the last time I checked, eggs came out of chickens. He asked if I wanted him to take the plate back to the kitchen, and I said, you're just going to scrape off the eggs and bring the same plate back to me, right? He said, yes. I said, just leave it here. My boyfriend and brother ate what was served to me, and I had the last of the granola and fruit. I'm sure the cupcakes and pancakes had dairy or eggs in them. Of course, I didn't say anything to the bride and groom, there was no way I was going to upset their beautiful wedding day. But I just say BEWARE! Everyone planning a wedding, go elsewhere!!! (I won't even go into how long it took the one and only bartender to serve 100 guests their drinks. Why one bartender? Why doesn't the chef or waitstaff know what vegan is? Ok, I guess I went into it. Sorry.) Two stars because the place was pretty.

Writing an updated review: If you have read the review prior, please note it is being updated. Celebration on Wells deserves the update for their follow-up and communication. Overall a very good catering option. The staff that served our dinner and breakfast were fantastic and kept smiles on their face even in the rain. The bartender was well liked by all. The planner's ideas for the diner meal were spot on for the time of year and did a nice job keeping things on time and moving. A month later and we still receive compliments on the food.
