Cataro's Italian Villa

Checked this place out on a Friday around 5:00pm. The parking lot is pretty small and the dining space is small and dated. It seems like they probably do a lot of carry out pizzas because the dining room was empty when my party of three grabbed a table. Our server was really nice. We ordered some fries, cheesy bread, a small cheese pizza and a large sausage and onion pizza. The fries and bread came out pretty quickly and were tasty. The pizza came out shortly after and the crust is thin and crisp. There was sausage in each bite and it was an all around good pizza. The bill, including all of the food, a soda and a beer came out to around $50.00, not including tip, so it wasn't too expensive either. This place is cash only so know that going in. In general, we would definitely return and give it another shot.

I grew up about 3 miles from here. My wife and I drove by this place about once a month and always say we're going to try it. We finally tried it abs it was amazing.Super small dining room and parking lot. We started with an order of outstanding garlic bread and had a 14" thin crust sausage and pepperoni with half onions and half fresh mushrooms.The pizza was fantastic. Super thin crust that was crisp even on the center pieces. The flavor was also great with a touch of heat in the sausage.Great job!!

I have lived in west allis for around 8 years and I have never tried this once. That was the biggest disservice I could commit. I finally try it and boom new favorite pizza spot. We got a pan pizza, mozzarella sticks, and two orders of garlic bread and our total was $30. Anywhere else including Pizza Hut would be over $40. The quality was fresh and very high. The cheese had an amazingly fresh pull, the pepperoni had great and subtle flavor. The mozzarella sticks were my daughters favorite and got mad when they were gone until she realized she ate them all. We will be back... tomorrow.... Seriously. KEEP IN MIND THEY ARE CASH/CHECK ONLY!!!

I was looking for a place for dinner saw the pizza looked amazing and decided to give it a chance. God was I right. Garlic bread was SEASONED!! For $4 I was very happy. Then she also brought out our drinks. Small pitcher for $2. Took me the whole time to finish it. Pizza was amazing, it had such a good cheese pull. Also a deep dish for $14. Service was amazing. I don't know her name I'm going to guess she's the owner. It seems family owned and I love the vibe. they do only take cash or LOCAL checks but still amazing

Best pizza in town! Just a little locally owned place serving phenomenal pizza. Be patient, it's a small place with a small crew, but the food is delicious!

Food and the service as me and my dad had to wait 2 hours for a pizza garlic bread was too salty and pizza was little burn we didn't get a menu.

We ordered a deep dish pizza for my birthday and I must say I wish I had ordered food elsewhere. Crust had no flavor. Cheap ingredients. We got a large half pepperoni half deluxe. The cheese tasted cheap and the sausage was one of the worst I've had on a pizza. So disappointing because it smelled like very authentic pizza in the restaurant. We had leftovers. Guess what, it tasted even worse the next day. Probably the very few times we threw away leftover pizza. :(

Food: This place is all about the pizza. It is probably the best pizza I have had in West Allis and one of the best pizzas in Milwaukee. The crust was unique and perfectly thin and crispy, and the cheese/sauce combo hits just right. Unfortunately other menu items may not be at the same level. We had a fish fry that was.. "meh" at best. Service: We found everyone to be friendly and accommodating. It's important to note that the establishment is "West Allis casual", so don't expect extensive pampering. They only accept cash, but they inform you about it when you call in advance. Overall, the staff is friendly and does an admirable job despite what appeared to be limited resources.Ambiance: This is where the restaurant falls apart a little. The overall ambiance could benefit from some improvements. The carry-out window, in particular, appeared grubby and could use some cleaning and sprucing up. And, maybe it is just me, but I never appreciate people (especially the chef/cook) standing around the entrance smoking when I come to pick up an order. Based on the appearance alone, if I had not already placed the order by phone I probably would have turned-around and walked away (and missed a great pizza). It was so good, I will probably order Pizza from here again - but maybe after dark and I will do some mental gymnastics to avoid thinking about how grubby it seemed.

One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, the pizzas are loaded with toppings, they don't skimp like most places, the Italian dishes are very good as well, very reasonably priced.
