Best sandwich spot off the square hands down. Although the line is always long, the wait is never too bad and it's very much worth it in my opinion. They do offer the ability to order ahead of time to avoid the line all together. The inside is a bit small with limited seating, so I prefer to get my food to go and enjoy it on the square when it's nice out. Definitely try their chocolate chips cookies when you stop by, you won't be disappointed.My one knock would be that the sandwiches do not save well in the fridge and end up getting soggy.

I've heard so many good things about Casetta and finally had the opportunity to go on a day off from work. I made an online order and got the paradigm with focaccia. My order was ready for pick up at the time I had requested. After picking it up, it sat for a little bit so I thought it might not be as good but I was wrong. The sandwich was delicious! Amazing bread and hefty filling that was salty, spicy, and flavorful. I could only eat half of the sandwich because of the size so a great deal as well. The only problem I noticed was that the sandwich was quite wet so I might request the sauce on the side for online orders.

All the raving reviews of Cassetta are SO warranted. I've been wanting to go for so long but due to their hours (10:30-2:30 only on weekdays) it's slightly inconvenient to get there between my class schedule. I did finally go in at around 1:30 on a Wednesday -- next time I will definitely go in earlier as a few things were already sold out!I got a make your own turkey sandwich on foccacia and this was phenomenal. Each of the ingredients tasted fresh and contributed to the overall deliciousness of the sandwich. Despite the large portion size, I finished eating it and immediately wanted more. All the staff were so friendly as well! Missed out on trying the chocolate chip cookie and chicken cutlet but looking forward to those next time!

Finally made it to Casetta and wasn't disappointed! I ordered the Hoboken and the Paradigm and both were delicious. The stand-out piece of Casetta is their fresh focaccia bread... it's so delicious!!!! The sandwiches were fresh and their restaurant was inviting. Plenty of indoor seating with small patio seating as well. Service was fast and efficient. Serving size was good as well. Only negative I have is the hours! It took me a long time to get over here during business hours (limited to lunch on weekdays only). So glad I made it, definitely recommend!

I took out lunch on a Monday. Meatball 3.0 - Monday special was my entree. In fact for the past couple of weeks I was trying to get this sandwich, but went out of stock before I ordered. The sandwich was really good, and flavorful. There was 3 meatballs in it, probably that is why it is named meatball 3.0.

This small gem is my go-to for lunch. The food and the staff are both terrific. They offer a rotating daily sandwich special, but you always build your own to your tastes. Also excellent is their pasta fagIoli with tiasted bread!

A quick easy lunch spot with fresh ingredients and friendly staffs. There was seriously nothing bad I can say about my experience. You get a huge filling sandwich for the price, and definitely worth the visit!

WOW my boyfriend and I loved this place! I don't eat meat and was seriously craving a caprese sandwich, so with the assistance of the super friendly staff member I built my own caprese creation. My boyfriend loved his sandwich. I wish my focaccia was slightly more cooked but the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I'm so excited to visit him in Madison soon so we can come back here!!

I was up by Madison last Saturday, and wasn't very familiar with the area, so I used a Yelp recommendation for lunch. I was not disappointed. I had the tuna salad on focaccia bread. Topped with arugula and sun-dried tomatoes, it aimed to please. Absolutely fantastic! I also tried the spicy chickpeas on the side. Thumbs up. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Sandwich specials each weekday. I wish I had this place down where I live! Hint hint! Prices are very reasonable, and plenty of parking.

I love a great sandwich spot so I am a trusted source. I was excited to try Casetta as it was a promising, local joint in Madison. Unfortunately, Madison just isn't the city to get a good sandwich. Casetta is not better than subway, although it's much more expensive! Their focaccia isn't crispy or crunchy or toasted. The lettuce is pre shaved - like the bagged type from the grocer. The tomatoes are Roma. The cheese is mozzarella or provolone. And the mozzarella isn't buffalo. Overall, just not great ingredients. But the intention is there, the execution just falls short.
