Very nice place, but you "Yelp" , yes you Yelp, have to update your price guidelines. I believe it is $$$ not $$ Price Point Place. That can be misleading.

I've been here a few times and the experience has been amazing every single time. Mouth watering food, beautiful decor and ambiance, and the owner is super nice and you can tell he takes great pride in his restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Italian cuisine. I love that it's a family owned and operated restaurant as well, it really adds to the experience.

I was in the area with some personal business and I was done around 11am and it was a 9 degree day with plenty of wind so a nice warm bowl of soup sounded good so I jumped on yelp to see what's around and I saw soups in the pictures. The French baked onion soup pictures looked good so I drove over for some. The place has a nice bar as you walk in with nice tables and booths and generally nice looking and not cheesey over the top Italian decor. My server seated me promptly and brought me some menus which I looked over but I was getting the French onion soup on this cold day. My server seemed taken back when I ordered just the baked French onion soup with nothing else but that's all I wanted for lunch.My French baked onion soup took about 10 minutes and looked good so I took a small sip of the broth before I dug in and I thought it was average with no real depth but not salty. I mixed the soup up so I could get the crostini, provolone and gruyere cheeses mixed with the breaddy base and onions so I took a big spoon full and I was shocked that the soup was boiling hot and it completely burned my tongue and the roof of my mouth. I have never been served a soup that hot where my mouth was scorched and blister now I can't really taste normally so I don't know if it was good or not because it was all textures at this point. The cheese mixture was very cheesy and it had plenty of onions and in general I had all the ingredients to the last spoonful so it was not skimpy but I still didn't know how it really tasted.I wonder if my soup was intentionally made boiling hot because I went to this pricey nice restaurant and only ordered the soup and 5 hours later my mouth is not normal yet. If a cook/chef serves a customer boiling hot soup then they are incompetent and should find another line of work because a soup hot station doesn't keep soup that hot and a broiler to melt the cheese doesn't boil the liquid in the crock.I would not go back to this restaurant because something was just not right with my experience and I experience lots of restaurants to know when something is outrageously wrong and completely out of the norm for an established restaurant to let fly, super fail on this restaurant.

I placed an order online for curbside pickup at 4:25 pm. A notification came back saying my food would be ready within 20-25 minutes. I hadn't dined here before so I had high hopes the food would not disappoint. I had a 20% discount code which enticed me to order more food. When I pulled up and called the number to let them know I had arrived, it took about 5 minutes before the owner came out with food in hand. He sent me on my way with a smile and seemed pleasant. Our experience was good, not great as some of the dishes did not seem to be very flavorful. The winning dish was as the spaghetti and meatballs. I was happy to have ordered an extra side of meatballs...thank goodness as my kids were fighting over who would get more. I will definitely return for them! However, the minestrone soup, fettuccine Alfredo, GF pasta with asparagus and chicken and the asparagus salad were just ok. I was disappointed that the salad didn't look very bright, not at all what I might typically expect at a restaurant.Again, I will return for the meatballs and may give the pizza a try next time. I really love supporting local businesses and hope to see more flavorful dishes in the future!

First off this is NOT a chain restaurant. If you are looking for cheap lesser-quality food, go elsewhere! Whoever is the cook does a heck of a job! Even sides dishes are special.Last week we had mushroom ravioli with a demi-glaze sauce; absolutely first rate! Also had eggplant parm, which few restaurants even serve because it's a fussy dish to make. It was also excellent. Side salads are big enough to share as well as other sides.The ambience is so nice, like a higher end restaurant should be. Music fit the venue. Wait staff attentive and efficient. Maybe because of price you can't go every week, but treat yourself once a month to what nice restaurants used to be like in Milwaukee. We don't have many of these types of restaurants left, so enjoy them while you can

This is my favorite local restaurant after going 6-7 times, the best Italian food I have ever had! The food quality is always fantastic and it's so cozy on the inside. The owner is very sweet, would highly recommend!

Fantastic place, not sure why it has a mediocre rating on here. We went because it was close to our hotel, not expecting much based on reviews. We absolutely loved our meals here and the owner was so welcoming and gracious. We had the rigatoni bolognese (he allowed us to sub spaghetti) and the beef ragu, both were fabulous and had terrific flavor. We also had small side salads, the Caesar was light and so fresh tasting, and a basket of some of the best Italian bread we've had. The ambiance was so much more than we expected, and we would be back over and over again if we lived closer. Don't miss out on this gem!

Went there for dinner tonight the food was amazing. I got the chicken piccata somebody else got the stuffed seafood shells, the lasagna, everything was amazing. The bar is beautiful.
