Carl's Catering & Banquet Facility

With the ambiance of a catering hall, I wasn't expecting such warm, attentive service. The staff are wonderfully friendly and the one man, karaoke band was an unexpected surprise! We boogied in to some Elvis and it made us all smile.The drinks are reasonably priced ( and, ooWEE, they were strong ). The food is delicious and the portions are mammoth! I had a pile of lightly breaded and fried Perch. Others in our group had the traditional cod fry and a mighty looking plate of roasted chicken. It was alllll good. It even came with some homemade cranberry sauce, which I really love. We had to take a box home. You have to get there relatively early because they don't serve past 7pm. We will be back!.

They have an amazing fish fry!!! We ordered to go which you have to do there, no calling ahead. You can also eat in their hall. I didn't realize how large the pieces of fish were so I went with the three piece which really wasn't necessary. Two pieces would have sufficed because they are huge! You have your choice of potato so I went with potato pancakes because this is Wisconsin. I was not disappointed. Their coleslaw is probably the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that I wish it would have been packaged in a cup/bowl instead of the divider in the to go container. Also, a really neat thing is you get raspberry sherbet for dessert with your fish fry! Fish fry's are seasonal here so they are not available in the summer.

What a great place for a memorial gathering. We were honoring the memories of James L Corrigan who passed the day after Veterans Day. We met at Carl's after Jim's burial with honors at the Union Grove veterans memorial cemetery. Banquet style Food including salad was well prepared and served. Great staff.

Carl's is your typical "event hall" establishment, located on Loomis Road in Greenfield. My family seems to really like this place - they've held funeral lunches, big parties and most recently a wedding reception here.On the plus side, the people that run Carl's are very pleasant and accommodating. They were happy to allow us in to the space early to decorate, and the servers were very efficient. Our bartender was absolutely great - funny and friendly. On the minus side, the food was "meh" - but you can't expect haute cuisine for $12.95/person. During winter Carl's has a weekly fish fry and they offer buffets on holidays like Thanksgiving + Mothers Day.

Nothing to write home about. The staff are professional and set up a catered event very quickly. But the food, while good, wasn't the best I've had, and the selection wasn't that large. I think I just have different preferences when it comes to the sweet and tangy levels of my side dishes. I'd give them another shot though. Everyone seems to like their fish fry.

We just had our wedding reception at Carl's and couldn't be happier. The space is attractive and offers easy access even for those in wheelchairs. Plus there is ample parking. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. You won't find gourmet, but you will find good, solid, tasty dishes. We needed to offer gluten free and Carl's was willing to work with us. The people at Carl's are a dream to work with in every regard. We received many compliments from our guests and highly recommend Carl's.

My daughter and son in law had their wedding reception at Carl's last summer. Everything was amazing. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The hall is very spacious and clean. Nicely decorated. Darlene really worked with us and was so accommodating in every respect! The bartenders were awesome. Very friendly and so much fun. Highly recommend this place!

We used their services for a funeral. We wanted something simple yet a little formal. Our problem was that after Covid, many of the normal restaurants we used for funerals, no longer existed. Carl's was perfect. Staff was wonderful. Food was great, especially the baked chicken. I can't possibly compliment them enough for their efforts to make a difficult time, easier. Very highly recommended.

Attended my sister in law's wedding. Staff was initially ok, but as soon as there was some confusion with the seating (two people brought an extra guest which were not accounted for) they became extremely rude. I could hear them commenting, huffing and puffing. I think a good caterer would expect these things to happen and offer some solutions. Food was not great but not terrible either. I will not be recommending this place.

The place might not look like much, but the fish fry excellent (especially the Perch) and the service good.
