Camp Whitcomb-Mason

Camp Whitcomb Mason is the only camp in the Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee organization. And it give so many city kids a great taste of nature and activities they would not normally have access to. The Camp is 300+ acres of nature on Lake Keesus with lots of trails and woods to explore. Add in cabins, activities, great staff and endless options for campers to fill their days and you have Camp Whitcomb Mason. I live next door and have the pleasure of hearing the happy sounds of campers and school groups alike both on the lake and on the grounds. 2023 brought a new and fantastic High Ropes Course and even more camp sessions, all spots of which filled up quickly. I love hiking the trails and seeing the wildlife. The boardwalk is a hidden gem and if you are lucky you will find the bear and dragon (nope, not real but fun to look for.) School and private groups attend the camp throughout the year, not just during the summer months so expect to see and hear happy people.Contact the camp office for specific information about hiking in the camp just to make sure there are no restrictions at any time. And if you bring a dog, bring a leash and your poop bags and clean up after yourselves. Keep the camp clean and healthy for everyone.If you want to have your child attend a camp session in the summer you better sign up quickly. Spots fill up fast.

My wife and I and in-law went there for the lumberjacks pancake breakfast fun raiser A very enjoyable day 300 acres of rolling Hills and words with log cabins in excellent condition the food was fabulous and we're looking forward to do it again next year

Great time! Lots of good food. Fun for the kids. Camp Whitcomb is a great place and the lumberjack fundraiser never disappoints.
