Date of visit: January 30, 2025My friend really wanted to go here for our monthly lunch outing as she was excited about them coming to her neighborhood and was even more excited when I shared that I had never been to a Cafe Zupas before.The location definitely is new, everything still looks great but all of the kinks that people in the early reviews referenced don't seem to be there anymore, thanks y'all for taking that bullet so I didn't have to! I went with a Pick 2 combo of the Honey Bacon Club (quite good) and the Mushroom Bisque; I love bisques and I love mushrooms so this was a great combo all around for me! Add in the free piece of bread and chocolate-covered strawberry and I was sold!So why not five stars? At the soup station, they asked if I wanted crispy onions and I said no, but got them anyway... I think she was just used to chucking them on everyone's soup that muscle memory trumped my answer. I loathe to waste food and since I'm not allergic, I just dealt with the onions. Then the free bread was cold. Not room temp, cold like it just came out of the fridge. Glad they want to keep it fresh longer but it really didn't compliment my soup the way I wanted it to. However, I would definitely come back and try some more tasty items!

Good, but they definitely still have kinks to work out. We came into dine the other night and they were out of mixed greens and rice. Both of which we were not told we out until after we ordered. Considering those are necessary for like half their dishes, it would have been nice to get an FYI before we ordered or a sign or something. This put us in somewhat of a stressful position, as we had to change our orders on the fly as there were people waiting. Overall, the place was clean and the staff were nice. Food was good - highly recommend the soup, but you can't really go wrong.Like many have stated, parking here is annoying. The lot is difficult to get into and the drive through set up makes it harder to maneuver. Overall, I'm glad there is a zupas in brookfield, but they definitely have some kinks to workout soon - though that's expected considering they've only been open for a month or so.

Went for the first time and placed a pick up order a few days ahead. Got there and my order was not ready and took another 25minutes until I got my food. It would've been faster to just show up and order.Additionally, the parking lot is horrendous. No matter where you park, you have to walk across the drive thru traffic to get to the doors. There's also no walkway from the parking facing Bluemound to get into the doors, you have to go around the grass to get in. Poor design job, whether Zupas or the shopping center that came up with it.The food was good at least and I'll inevitably go back. I just will not order ahead of time again as it was a headache.

Price for soup and sandwich combo is $12.99 on menu board. Register charged $13.99. Also Mediterranean chicken sandwich should be listed as vegan. 3 tiny crumbs of chicken in entire sandwich. Also chickpea soup was just broth! NOT GOING BACK!!

This location is just open so there will be some bugs to work out.Parking lot is kind of goofy and the drive through and take out system could be better. We ordered online for carry out. It took forever to get the food. Like I said, the pick up system needs work. This could be because they were busy and all the holiday traffic. I don't know. Employees need a sense of urgency. The food was great. Had the mushroom bisque. I could have eaten a quart of that no problem. Nice little extra was the chocolate dipped strawberry. I will definitely go back and see if they have made improvements to the service.

I know this restaurant just opened but they have some serious logistical issues to work out. I placed an online order at 11:15 for pick up at noon at the drive-thru. I got in the mobile line at 12:00 and finally made it to the window at 12:25!! It is one lane only and so tight that there is no way you can exit the line or go around to park and go inside. A safety issue in my view!! They have no system for pulling ahead to wait for your order.Then I finally get to the window at 12:25 and my order isn't ready. I was so upset I asked for a refund in lieu of my food but no one came back to the window for another 5 min! Then my food was finally ready. Totally unacceptable!!

Recently, I ordered a nourish bowl with wild rice. When I got to the window I was told that they were out of wild rice. Disappointing since they were still open for another 1.5 hours. When I got home, I opened the salad and noticed they forgot the sweet potatoes and roasted cauliflower, so my salad was greens, white rice, grapes and apples. For $14. I sent an email to corporate with a photo but have yet to hear back. I may try this location again, but it will definitely be a while.
