We were here on a beautiful fall weekend.I had family visiting in town that weekend, so we ended up eating here in Tosa. We requested a seat outdoors since the day was too gorgeous to be indoors, and had the most lovely time sitting outside (see photo below). We were fortunate to be seated on the patio right on the river. Once we got seated, service was good. There are lots of folks walking by - so be aware that while you're eating there, on that particular spot above the river, you're sharing space with pedestrians and locals and others walking by. A great place to people watch and eat. But if you're looking for something more secluded outside, this won't meet your criteria. Our food was delicious - we ordered off the brunch menu - the Farmer's Omelette (see pictures below), tacos, and a scrambled egg and sausage item. Menu items may have changed since then, but you can see the photos below. Take a look at the view also from our seating area. I'd visit again for the ambiance and eating outdoors again.

Almost always pleasantly surprised when I try a new dish of theirs. Great choice for multiple occasions, such as a business lunch, a first date, or a quick bite and beer after playing pickleball down the road at Hart Park. Fun interior ambiance. Unique drink and food options; I like the meatloaf.___________________________________________Here's a formula that expresses the quality of a restaurant on a 1-5 scale, considering key factors. Located at the heart of downtown Wauwatosa, this Belgium inspired restaurant has fantastic outdoor seating with several tables located on a bridge that overlooks the Menomonee River. I had the falafel bowl which consisted of falafel, arugula, lightly pickled cucumbers, roasted tomatoes, feta cheese, red onion and pita. The contents of the bowl were nestled upon a garlic yogurt sauce which did a great job of adding acidic flavor notes to the dish. The only issue I had with this dish is that I ran out of pita bread with around half to a quarter of the falafel bowl contents remaining. Regarding service, the server was helpful, she always made sure our drinks were full, our orders all came out correctly, and our food came out fast.

Snagged a spot during Sunday brunch service without a wait - always a win. The place is cute and cozy inside. I opted for the BELT&A which was super yummy! Great flavor on the aioli. Potatoes were great too! Knocking a star off because the service was incredibly slow.

This is the perfect spot for some food while in Tosa There is 2 floors, so plenty of seating and it's all decorated festively for the holidays. Their menu ranges from burgers and handhelds to salmon or jambalaya dishes. I had their fish fry and Apples and Pears cocktail. Both were fabulous and one of the better fish fry's I've had. The cocktail was well balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. I really liked the coleslaw, it was a unique recipe and I appreciated that. Everyone was happy with their dishes and the staff was wonderful.

Starters were Brussels sprouts and pretzel bites, winners all around. Ordered the spiced shrimp salad for my entree. Thought it was flavorful and a great portion for the price. The team accommodated my party when we arrived, moving a us to a preferred table. Service was efficient and staff was berry pleasant. It is loud inside the restaurant and I went here with my family, so we had trouble holding a conversation with everyone, mostly because the music was very loud. If you can get a table outside, I'd recommend.

Always have a great experience at Cafe Hollander in Tosa Village, the servers are always great, fit me in on the patio whenever possible, and accommodate all reasonable requests made! Food is good! And in the warmer months it's become routine for me and sometimes friends to frequent their patio for drinks and brunch. Definitely recommend all their menu has to offer especially the frites cone. I love the blackened garlic dip and all the aio

This place was so cool and good! The staff were so kind and helpful with recommendations and serving us so promptly. The art, tables, and feeling decorations also gave the restaurant a chill and fun vibe with that Dutch flair! The beer list was also so informative and awesome! The star of the show was the food though. Best "burger" I have had in a while! I got the double smashed veggie beet burger and wow! So much flavor! I also got their sweet potato fries which were great! Definitely loved this place!

Stopped in a Friday evening around 5:30 for a fish fry. This was a last minute choice as we had intended to eat elsewhere but an hour wait time didn't work for us so we ended up here. We were seated promptly in a room that was about half full of dinners. The room was a bit dark and rustic, the chairs a bit uncomfortable as a result of worn webbing. Our waiter arrived quickly, brought us water and took our drink orders, an old fashion sweet and a margarita. Once our drinks arrived our order was taken for the fish fry with an additional piece of fish added to the two that came with the meal. Included with the meal were French fries, Cole slaw, and slices of rye bread (also tartar sauce, butter and lemon slice). The fish served was haddock which seems to be more common as restaurants move away from cod. I really enjoy a good fish dinner but haddock isn't one of my favorites. Unfortunately the way the fish was prepared made the experience even less enjoyable. Instead of a beer batter coating the fish was coated with a thick pancake like batter that was over fried to the point of being burned. The fish had little taste, pretty typical for haddock in my experience. The fries were great, nicely salted and crisp. The coleslaw was creamy but with a sharp taste I didn't care for. Service was good and attentive but for the cost, one meal with a drink coming in at $33 (tip not included), a bit expensive for the quality of the food. I've had better meals at this chain before, maybe just a bad night. However definitely wouldn't do the fish fry again.
