The food was outstanding here! Cute little diner, my family and I had breakfast here and everything was amazing! They have homemade jelly and jam and they are all very very good! Our waitress, Jamie, was very nice to us, very down to earth and made us feel at home. Definitely going to be coming back for future family breakfasts!!

First we ordered the Mexican mound. The furniture is very old.Felt like there was sand in the hashbrowns. I will not come back.We could only eat half of the breakfast. Sour cream was old and separated. The chef seemed grubby.Good salsa and eggs, the rest is suspect.If I'm alive,i will report more.

The owner and cook is exceptionally RUDE and inconsiderate of his customers. He doesn't understand that customer satisfaction is a requirement and needed to keep a business going. Don't waste your time.

We had breakfast here because it was Labor Day weekend and Sparks was full and had a long line outside.My wife and my buddy enjoyed their meals well enough. The pancakes were good, the service was good. However, I had ordered biscuits and gravy...and though I credit them for making their own gravy and not dumping a can of Libby's in a pot, the gravy was rather flavorless. The biscuits, again, though homemade, were underbaked and doughy on the inside. With Sparks just up the road, I can't see us returning unless there's a huge wait there.

My vacation High Point. Been coming here for a number years and the Hilltop is my favorite breakfast spot in the area. Try the Mound.

Breakfast was very tasty, with homemade strawberry jam and fluffy pancakes the stars. They were taking COVID safety very seriously, which was very appreciated. We had actually walked out of a popular neighboring town breakfast joint for crowded tables and waitresses with no masks. Not so at Hilltop. Tables were very well spaced, menus were disinfected between customers, everyone had masks on, etc. The nice folks running the front of the house are also fast and friendly and make sure you are well taken care of. You won't be disappointed!

we stop here with the grandkids, they like to sit at the counter. this place really knows how to make hash browns, just add a little red pepper flakes, always good food.
