"What HUGE, YUMMY, DELICIOUS sandwiches!! Didn't get guy's name who took our order, but he was patient, as it took me about 5 min to find order I had written, and humorous, as he joked I had until 6:45 to put in my order-it was 3;00 when I started, and all this was done with a smile on his face that was genuine. We order the LARGER of the size sandwiches and they were huge...I was bummed I didn't take a picture until I thought about doing that on my almost last bite and I finished last. The cookies we got were also soft and fresh. If you want a meal for your money JUST order a sandwich!!"

"I've been to Twisted Burger Grayslake before but it was my first time coming to the VH location. I have to say it is much cleaner and spacious. Service was quick and easy. I got the large fries and shroom burger. That burger truly hit the spot! It was cooked to perfection. I forgot how big the order of fries are so next time I would get the smaller size for two people. You can't beat the prices or quality here. Happy to see their business expanding!"

"Tried this place for the first time today. I had been meaning to since driving by recently. I've been looking for a new place to have breakfast. I ordered Eggs Benedict, as I almost always do. On the menu it was the 'ham' version. A lot of restaurants use ham instead of Canadian bacon, which is acceptable. The eggs were overcooked a little. One of the treats of eating this dish is when the runny egg yolks combine with the hollandaise, which didn't happen today. The hollandaise was pretty good, with good consistency. I would suggest including a sharp knife when serving this dish, like a steak knife. Without it, it's easy to make a mess of things cutting through the ham. The hash browns were very good. The orange juice was good, although it tasted like fresh squeezed mixed with concentrate, just my opinion. The coffee was good. The server, David, was quite good, and friendly."

"Called ahead on Mon, July 5th (July 4th observed) and confirmed that they were going to be open until 8 p.m. Stopped in for a late lunch after a visit to Illinois Beach State Park. Got the fish tacos ($9.99 - came with our choice of fries, and our server invited us to tag on a soup as part of it) and the pulled pork sliders (choice of onion straws, $8.99). Food tasted great and was large in portions (for our late meal on a hot day, we could have done with just meal and three cold drinks). Though they were short staff on a holiday and plenty of customers were coming in for a late lunch/early dinner, the one staff person we saw ably served customers and took care of phone orders."

"We ordered takeout from here and I was impressed. I would recommend takeout. When I travel, gyros are like a comfort food for me since you can find them a lot of places. I haven't been able to find many good gyros in the US, but I liked the gyros here! We had chicken schawarma, gyros, falafel and a salad. The best was probably the gyros and falafel. The sauce put on the wraps make them juicy (not dry). We had a good experience and I haven't had other good gyros around town so I'm giving this a high rating."

"I came here on opening day. Aside from missing a few items on the menu being ready to buy, I had great service and (even better) hand-made ice cream. They had about a dozen flavors from which to choose, and (having tried almost all of them) it was difficult to select just one to be scooped. If you don't feel like driving all the way up to Dairy Haus in Rockton, Kimberly's is a great choice, with plenty of comparable flavors and quality (minus the long drive). I really enjoyed their pistachio and their pine nut flavors!Also on the menu-cheesecake, chocolate-covered strawberries, palatas (ice cream on a stick), agua fresca, panini, and coffee. I'll definitely return!"
