"I have been here twice now and only for brunch. I don't get to Story Hill often but this is a great spot. The atmosphere is both fun and sophisticated. And the food is both delicious and inventive.The restaurant has been busy both times I've visited but I was able to get a seat at the bar. They have Valentine coffee. Service is always attentive and nice.I have had the shakshuka on my first visit. There are lots of variations on this dish out there. I liked Story Hill BKC's with its sumac mayo and smoked lentils. The naan bread is perfect for capturing the perfect bite. More recently I had the spinach and mushroom waffle. I almost overlooked it on the menu but I'm glad I tried it. It's a savory waffle with poached eggs, feta, shallot marmalade, drizzled with a little truffle oil and accompanied by broccolini and a small salad. The dish had a nice balance of light and heavy elements.There is a nice selection of desserts and bakery items. I had the day's coffee cake--triple chocolate. I tried to take small bites and enjoy it with my coffee.The menu seems to change from time to time and there were a few specials available. The people sitting next to me said that they'd never had anything bad there. This is definitely on the rotation when I'm in the area."

"Do not sleep on The Del-bar. The Del-bar has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Wisconsin. The atmosphere, food, and service are over-the top. I currently have a restricted diet for medical reasons (Gluten, dairy, and soy free), which makes going out to eat less enjoyable and also impossible at time. They had no problem accommodating my needs. I ordered the salmon (modified to accommodate restrictions) and my food was superb - flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Del-bar also offered multiple non-alcoholic options. I enjoyed a lavender and lemon mocktail. A few other tips (from this and past visits): - The espresso martini is a must after dinner (they have a mocktail version as well!)- Upgrade to a specialty salad, it's worth it - The Béarnaise sauce that comes on the salmon is phenomenal- Don't rush your dinner here. Enjoy the different bar areas, and a slow meal. - Try the lobster roll"

"Santino's was our very first date night 3 years ago, and every visit since then has been the same amazing food. Santino's is reliable and consisent in both service and food. The Gigante Meatball is favorite dish to order- it's a simple classic done extremely well! Any and all of the pizzas are amazing- as well as their sangria. Whether you are looking for a semi-upscale restaurant, or a date night to enjoy happy hour (4-6pm)- Santino's is the place to go! Price was $87 for two adults, a starter, two entrees, and 4 alcoholic drinks during happy hour."

"Great spot right outside downtown MKE off the Brady strip. We got the "everything but fish" pizza, a meatball sandwich, and italian beef sandwich, all which were amazing! The pizza crust was a perfect thin crust and great toppings. we got the largest size after our servers recommendation and that ended up being way too much food because of all the toppings, not a bad issue to have though! Definitely would recommend if you want something local and not too busy."

"This restaurant is such a gem in the area. Make your reservations well in advance so you can sit in the restaurant area. We were only able to reserve the bar area. It's quite busy and loud. "Work took me to Grand Geneva Resort and Spa this week. Craving for steak, checked out Chophouse. Atmosphere was very romantic with a perfect lighting overseeing the Lake. My server was Danielle, she was awesome and make good recommendations. Started with Lobster Bisque, wished the serving was bigger, LOL. Wagyu was only 6oz but packed with flavor and instantly melts in your mouth, followed by Foie Gras, which was amazing and very fatty. Not your everyday meal but it was so good. I finished off with the chocolate blackberry cake. Overall, meal was excellent and worth a return trip."

I've had at least two recent visits where I've lingered at the table way too long, catching up with friends, and the servers never rushed us out. Top notch!"

Great appetizers the calamari was good not chewy or overcooked. The sauce for the arancini was very flavorful. We got Alfredo with scallops. The scallops were so buttery and soft. The veal was okay, but the side of mash potatoes was better. Our server Alisa was very attentive and helpful checked on us regularly. Would visit again if we're in the area."

Simon was our server and he went above and beyond for us. We were in a rush to catch a train, and he ensured that our food was served promptly. He was very attentive and kind. We also pushed back our reservations 3 times and the staff was very understanding. They worked with us to make it a great experience. The artichoke dip was the best I have ever had. I had the burger and it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is stunning. We sat inside but could still enjoy the views."

"Four of us enjoyed a corner setting in the many-windowed Avli overlooking the city in an interesting way. Great spot for a date or a casual meeting with friends. Ten at a table next to us chose it as the spot to celebrate a graduation. It was a Sunday brunch so the menu offerings may have been skimpier than those found in a full Greek menu, but the choices were well prepared. Nevertheless, prices were on the high side ($9 for a small bowl of Avgolemono soup, $17 for a Gyro wrap with fries, $18 for a chicken Souvlaki-- 2 skewers). If you're looking for a traditional Greek restaurant fix with more reasonable fare, there are a number of choices around town including Greek family restaurants. One negative is the acoustics, which could easily be fixed by a professional. The ceiling/wall arrangements make it difficult to hear across the table. Service, however, was excellent."

Plenty of parking across the street from Ruby Tap but I hear the one parking lot is being converted to condos I think. Warm and cozy place. Bar and tap area with seating and a variety of table sizes. A somewhat separate section with a fireplace and couch to be more intimate.Variety, 32 tappers with a good mix of reds and whites and from low priced wines to higher priced wine as well as size of the pours (small to taste, to medium to try and then large to enjoy) and prices of each pour varies by price of the bottle. You can select 1.5-ounce tastes, 3-ounce half pours or 6-ounce full pours of wines from the machines, or 3-ounce, 6-ounce or 18-ounce carafes of wine from the tap. Those who find a wine they enjoy may also purchase a bottle to take with them. Description and background on each wine at each tapper. I've been to a few other "wine tap" wine bars with more tappers and varieties of wines (32 more tappers to be specific). Of course, this is a wine bar, with monthly wine memberships and education on wines to purchasing wines from all over. Two different memberships to check out. What I like about this wine club is the wines from all over versus a wine club membership from say, Cooper's Hawk which is their own "brand". The bar also has other drinks and a few other wines available. A small menu for appetizers and sharable dishes.Value, is subjective but for a wine lover who wants to try wines without purchasing a full glass, this is where you go. $3 on up for a 1.5 ounce can get pricey for some. The value here is not spending $15 on a glass to not like it. The wine tappers are cooled to proper temperature so you are truly tasting the wines as they should be which to me adds to the value.Service, overall good service when you walk up and get your card for the tapper to food service. Friendly staff and knowledgeable staff."

"Mixed feelings about this one. Food was phenomenal! Service was friendly. But masks are optional in this establishment. Starting with food. We ordered the broccoli and cheese soup which was lighter than your traditional Midwest version. I enjoyed this modification because it didn't leave you full for your next items. We also got the root beer sliders which were so heckin' delicious. I want to go back and get two orders or the full meal they were so juicy and delicious. Would highly recommend the lamb lollipops. They're easily some of the best lamb I have had. Just the right amount of food. Lastly for desert we had to go with the only item available at the time, which were the truffles. And they were pretty tasty! Wouldn't recommend them for the price but no regrets ordering them. Service was good! I'm our server was nice, attentive and had good recommendations. Only downside to this place is that masks are entirely optional. We were the only two people wearing them. The server asked but she wasn't wearing them for any other table or while mixing drinks so kinda felt like a wash if she was breathing over our drinks anyway. All in all, I will definitely go back but not until the pandemic starts to falter."

"I needed to find a meeting point between Appleton and MKE. Fond du Lac was the city and Urban Fuel was the location. What a great choice. Urban Fuel is off the beaten path a bit, in case you are thinking it is just off the Hwy. Located on the east side of town in a residential type area. One may think you are heading the wrong way, but rest assured you will find it nestled in a small business center. First thing you will be amazed with is the size of the place. The pics don't do it justice. There is plenty of space and you can have a quiet place or be in the action. They have a nice fireplace area to settle into as well. The staff is great and can make abut anything you want. My almond milk green tea latte was perfect and came in a nice clear glass mug. No frill, no waste and no little green stopper needed. The menu is perfect for the appetite we had. Breakfast sandwich with choice of egg, bread, cheese and breakfast meat. Everything came out hot and cooked perfectly. If you are looking for a clean spacious place to have a great cup of coffee or tea with an open intimate setting, Urban Fuel is the place to go in FdL."

"I loved my visit to CEF on Sunday, and I cannot wait to return. I was one of the first people there on Sunday, and while I enjoyed the sunshine several others came in and out. Small-village vibe with owners (husband and wife) who actually care to hear your story and remember your name. I started with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, the cheese "glop" and the capilatini (sp?). They were very kind and helpful bringing dishes out to the patio where I was even though everyone else was inside. Then they topped it off my never forgetting I was out there and regularly checking up on me and bringing me fresh, cold water. The cheese dip was smooth and spreadable, a mix of five or six cheeses blended with some olive oil. Delish. The other dish was a mix of olives, capers, celery, crushed tomatoes, pine nuts and eggplant - one of the owners' grandmother's recipe! The cheese came with toast pieces and the cap. came with an assortment of crackers. Small dishes for the right price, and a nice accompaniment for the fresh white wine. I will definitely be a regular here, as they don't seem to compete with The Ruby Tap down the way. The two spots seem to have different vibes completely and a totally different set of target consumers - this is more of a grab a glass on the way home and get to know some neighbors kind of place, and just what I wanted to move in down the block."
