"One of the coolest places in the MKE for work, coffee, lunch. Reminds me of Seattle and San Francisco. A must see for anyone needing a place to work, study or just hang out in a cool location."
"Been here once for a wedding... Once for a funeral. They have all the things you need at a banquet hall: a bar, a staff, space, and big room divider/retractable wall thingies, for smaller parties. It's a blank canvas, really."
"The fried fish, fried shrimp and baked fish were good. The potato pancakes and coleslaw needed seasoning to make them better, pretty lackluster. I got there about 5:15 and it wasn't crowded - 7 at the bar and one couple at a table. I didn't get my order until 6:00 and the waitress almost sent me home without the fried shrimp-luckily the cook caught the mistake before I walked out the door."
"Came here on Sunday for the live music and mimosa flights on the patio.. we got there and it was packed. They actually had to bring out more chairs and tables for us ! They had their full bar/ wine out in their pavilion, and also the indoor one was open, charcuterie boards available, a taco truck, and live music on a perfectly sunny Sunday afternoon. What more could you ask for? Oh, and it's FREE! We had a blast and will definitely be back. The scenery is gorgeous and makes you feel like your in a little slice of Cali. The staff is very sweet and knowledgeable about their products. I've also been to weddings at this winery, and been apart of weddings at this winery and i highly recommend the venue, their wedding planner is fantastic. All around gorgeous place to escape to and enjoy some great wine!"
"An excellent wine bar atmosphere. We enjoyed casual conversation with other customers. Our server was Very good. She did a great job. I plan to return. Encourage you too. The atmosphere was fun, friendly and focused on good customer experience."
"I couldn't get internet while in the convention area of the supper club so could not check in. I took a few pictures before the crowd filled in. We were in the bottom/basement of the building which is a banquet area. My review is solely on this experience and on the banquet buffet served.Walking into the facility you were given a warm feeling with the decorative waterfall basin, couch/chairs and warmly lit table lights. The banquet hall was spacious and has its own bar area. It was set up for the amount of people in attendance (about 60) and had a head table. The buffet food was good. As I have been to about 20 catered events around the state this past year I would say the food was on the higher end of delicious. Our buffet consisted of bun/butter, green beans, mashed potatoes, Cole slaw, slices of beef roast in gravy, chicken wings and desserts that I'm thinking we're brought in homemade which were awesome.I can picture this banquet hall lit up and decorated for a wedding or other occasion and would say it looks to be a great facility to use for that purpose. Now that I know of this place I would like to come back and try out the restaurant."
"Pricey dinner options but very delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the night views. Can recommend for a nice meal."
"Got a deal for this on living social. The hotel brought me into this small town and it was wonderful. The hotel is very old and had that vibe but the restoration was great. All rooms have the old school key and lock. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The jacuzzi tub was a great addition. The bed did squeak but that is okay, it was not too bad. The entire staff was arm and friendly and this hotel felt like a home away from away."
"The place was clean and amazing The seating area and stage was amazing The play was professional The singing and acoustics were awesomely clear I laughed and cried All the actors were tremendously talented. The dancers support and main . I loved the experiences. The seating selection was great ! The tickets were reasonable . The value is worth it ."
"Headed north to Green Bay, searching for a place to have lunch, and was pleased to find Jug's on my way. Not only is the building rustic and historic, but the people are friendly and the food is excellent. There was a small wait, maybe 5 minutes, and I was seated. A waitress came around promptly when I was done reviewing my options. She was great, and her engagement felt like honest genuine hospitality, not transactional - which is how I feel most engagement is in customer service these days.I decided to shy away from the burgers but wanted to choose something flagged as one of the most popular items, the McJuggers Reuben. It had generous portions of corned beef and loaded with flavor. The taste was amazing. On the side, I opted for the waffle fries, which I'm typically unimpressed with in most locations, but here they were cooked perfectly, and we're crisp. Will definitely swing by if I'm ever in the area again."
"The most authentic pub outside of Ireland. Awesome food, great service and just an amazing place. The bar outside is awesome. Adams Ribeye tasted great. Wings are some of the best I've ever had. Well worth a visit."
"Stopped in after a bike ride on a Sunday afternoon. We love the one up in waunakee but it's kinda far for us so glad to have one here in Madison. The beer was delicious I had the Love train, great IPA it was so good I went for seconds. Same with the pizza so good we had to get another one. We just ordered the sauce pie with shredded mozzarella essentially a cheese pizza then we got the Sausage Thyme pizza to go both were excellent. I'm more of a red sauce gal which had visible chucks of tomato. Can't wait to go back and try more pizza and enjoy more delicious beers on tap. We sat on the patio and my toddler loved waving to the pedestrians and people watching. They had a couple tvs in the bar and some gambling machines including pull tabs. 5/5 recommend if you like pizza and beer!"

I. Love. Wantable Cafe!Stumbled into this spot with zero clue from the outside the goodness that lies within. What a gem of a coffee shop they have here in Walkers Point. It's an order at the counter (or electronic kiosk) and they'll bring you your order. Both times I stopped by I got one of their specialty lattes (amazing) and a breakfast sandwich (delicious!). The service is friendly and efficient and the prices are reasonable. The real star of the show, though? The space! So much space for working, business meetings, meeting friends, or even a coffee date. The space is sleek and comfortable. It's not terribly noisy so you could definitely get work done here easily. That said, if you need it to be completely quiet, they have some work pods you can reserve. If you want to reserve them ahead of time, there's a fee. Or, you can stop by and get put on the list (without a fee). There is a limit to the amount of time you can be in the pod (I think an hour and a half but not 100%).We will definitely be back. Often.Get to it!

Beautiful large facility, newly remodeled, lots of parking! I have been to several events here and it is always wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone in the area, definitely the best in Racine. The bathrooms are very nice, there is a large bar, stunning banquet area, and new decor. You won't be disappointed! Five stars all the way.

Not For Kids!I visited Country Lanes recently with a scout group. I am no bowling expert, but all of the bowling alleys I have been to in the past many years have had the automatic bumpers that go up or down depending on the bowler. Country Lanes doesn't have these types of lanes. That is okay...I understand an upgrade is probably very expensive. The bumpers that they do have are the black drain tiles that you connect to the end of your gutters. No problems...they seemed to work just fine. My complaint is that they only have two sets of these "bumpers". If you have more than 10 or so kids in your group, some of them will be stuck bowling on lanes without bumpers. Bowling when you get a gutter ball every time isn't much fun for a kid.

How DC Estate has anything less than 5 stars is absolutely mind boggling to me. My husband and I got married here July 6th, 2019 and have visited countless times. Every time has been absolutely incredible! FOR WEDDINGSWedding Planner: Tia Lasswell is an angel on Earth. She is the most incredible wedding planner, which is probably why she won the award Rockford's #1 Planner! She is on top of everything and goes above and beyond for her couples. She's changed my shoes (pictured), fixed my dress mishaps, reminded me of my mom's favorite bottle of wine so I could purchase it for her for Christmas, and so much more. She made sure are day was absolutely perfect and completely painless. Plus, we asked her what companies she recommends we work with and she was spot on with all her recommendations. We couldn't have had the perfect wedding without Tia! She feels like family now and we love going back to visit her. I cannot say enough good things about her!The venue itself: Absolutely gorgeous! The outdoor ceremony space has a beautiful water fixture and stone arch to get married in front of. It was so beautiful in our pictures too! The indoor reception space is also gorgeous! Plus, they can easily arrange it for getting married indoors if weather doesn't cooperate. It has AC inside and huge windows to give a beautiful view of the ceremony space and the vineyards. Parking: There is a huge lot for parking and they let you leave your car overnight if you've had too much to drink. Wine: 10/10! They have options for everyone. They have sweet wines, crisp and refreshing white wines, mulled wines in the fall, wine slushees, dry reds (very impressive and bold for Wisconsin), and more! Definitely our favorite wine made in WI/IL. FOR A VISITTasting room: A beautiful space indoor that has a gorgeous fireplace and bar. They have a gift shop inside and some snacks for purchase. You can do wine by the glass or bottle, a tasting, or a flight as I mentioned before, the wine is exceptional.Food- they have snacks you can purchase from the fridge. Cheese boxes, nuts, spreads, etc.Patio: The patio is absolutely gorgeous. It's covered in string lights and has a gorgeous view of the vines and ceremony space. There are plenty of tables with umbrella which add to the vibe. This area is great for cocktail hour if you get married there.I could go on forever about how amazing DC Estate is! If you're considering getting married here, DO IT! It's the perfect venue with the perfect planner. If you're not looking for a wedding venue, definitely make a visit! It will become your new favorite vineyard. :)

I have a shopped here before and had a pleasant experience. This week went in to the store with my mask on and picked out my wine. I even purchased one that was suggested by the man working there. Then as I'm going to pay at the front the phone rings. He took the call and proceeded to go back on the store floor to chat with the caller .... 5 minutes later he started to come back to the register and low and behold the caller had another question..... so he went BACK to the shelves again leaving me waiting. When he finally came back, there was no mention of 'thanks for your patience' or an apology. I was very offended - along with the smirk regarding my mask - by his lack of service. I'd prefer to support local businesses but it sure didn't seem like they valued my patronage.

Not to bad for my 1st visit to a Supper Club. The portions were extremely generous for the price, but the interior seemed a little dated. With it being in a small town, it was great to have that small town feel, and if ever had the chance to return we would. Service was good and prompt and food was filling.

Visited for my significant other's birthday. We had an absolutely beautiful time at Pier 290The service was decent. Meals were spaced out or seemingly timed as one would expect in an upscale establishment. Perhaps our server was newer. We received water sparingly and were not asked about drink refills often. The ceviche we ordered came with freshly baked chips that were not fresh. The first ones cup of chips we received happed to be stale. The replacements had likely been out of the oven for at least an hour. The steak stack was pretty good. The lobster roll was pretty good. The crabcakes were. And the Martini was strong.

Lovely Inn that's been restored beautifully. We've now tried this place twice and while the second time was decidedly better than the first (this time the TV in our room wasn't from 1958, the remote actually operated the TV, and the whirlpool water got enough enough to actually, you know, take a bath) but I still wouldn't recommend it too highly. Let me start by saying the coffee pot in our room had leftover coffee in it from the last guest. That really makes ya feel like the room has been thoroughly cleaned, doesn't it? The bed is comfortable, the suite we had was pretty, the linens were fresh and clean and white. The Inn is spacious and we didn't hear any street noise or hear any other guests. We did try to watch a movie on tv and found that one of us had to sit on the floor bc the TV is in a location that either requires you both to sit in uncomfortable upright chairs or only one of you can sit on the couch and still see the screen (which is smaller than my laptop screen). So, um, don't plan to watch a lot of cable TV on your overnight here. No breakfast included anymore for Sunday, just a menu for the ridiculously priced brunch at the downstairs restaurant. An $18 omelet? No thanks. The Boyfriend made sure to gross me out by pointing out all the spots where the bathroom tile was dirty and where there was dirt and maybe mold in the shower grout, but I found the bathroom pretty and the shower nice. Oh, we got some delicious homemade pralines and a little note on the bed while were downstairs eating dinner. It's a nice touch though I'm not crazy about "turn down service" which is just a fancy way of describing someone coming into your room after you've checked in, while you're out temporarily. #Weird There's also no phone in the room and no welcome note in the room telling you things like the wifi password. And of course, no cell signal since you're in Mayville. And we were a little disappointed that when we checked in just before 6 there was no wine or coffee or cookies or anything to greet us - a touch we're used to from other similar inns and b&bs. It's a lovely place with a very nice host/owner that just isn't quite there yet in terms of having all the kinks of new ownership worked out. The Horicon Marsh is close enough to Madison that next time, we'll just make it a day trip and go home.

"This is a great theatre in our town. Their calendar each year brings in national acts all year long. A intimate setting, to be sure. The acoustics are suited for the performance venue, and this facility plays host to many local organizations. A theatre group, the Hartford Players, the Hartford City Band, and the Hartford Community Chorus. The Ruth A Knoll theatre is a fantastic place to take in a show on the weekend. Pike's peak plays host to local art n showcase as well as a banquet hall that is available for events and weddings.Good friends of ours were married here. I was truly impressed. A great venue for a wedding and easily transferred the event upstairs for the reception. To summarize, the theater is top notch, the shows are nationally recognized acts, and for the value, this is a great venue."
"Let me tell you why Kenosha needed this bar. It's the perfect blend of classy with relaxed. The midway point between Kenosha's crusty sports bars and high end hotel lounges. Where bartenders actually know what a liqueur is and how to make a decent craft cocktail, but without the frills and high prices of Apis. Where you'll see a familiar face, but not in the depressing way of the slumped over regulars who seem to have become fused into the bar at Sunnyside. It's friendly, welcoming, and cozy--but not sloppy. It's about time Kenosha had this.Certain whiny reviewers below, who have clearly NOT grown up, should stick to Fec's Place."
"I'm writing this review as a wedding guest only, so cannot comment on pricing or the planning experience. We attended a wedding at Florian this past weekend, and thought it was a pretty great venue. Everything seemed well-organized. The wedding was outside. Right after the ceremony, we were ushered to the cocktail lounge and patio for drinks and appetizers. The apps were good, bruschetta with a balsamic drizzle (nice touch over plain bruschetta). After about an hour, the ballroom opened and we were able to be seated. The fixtures and furnishings were nice and well-kept. Dinner was great, too. Nothing fancy, but it was tasty. (The fish was really well done!)Overall, I'd definitely consider hosting an event here."
"The salmon was over cooked but the Mac and cheese was pretty good!It was slow service but the bartender was nice."
"We booked this venue for our wedding reception and are very pleased. We really liked their customer service from the day we stepped in the door to look at the place to the end of the wedding night as we left. They never took longer than 1 business day to reply to an email or phone call and made sure all of our questions were answered. They set up our decorations for us and did an outstanding job! It was just how I had pictured it in my head. The food was excellent and all the guests were raving about it. We got to take the left over food home the next day and we had people offering / begging to take left overs off our hands. The servers and management were very attentive to both my husband and I AND our guests. The room was very spacious as well so no one felt crowded. If we have another event where we need to rent a venue we will come here first."
"Ok. The watha. What can I say about the watha that hasn't been said? It's way out in Sturtevant. I live on the northside, semi near the lake. So, as far as a place to drink, I can't stay long, cuz I gotta drive home safely, ya know. But, let it be known, I LOVE PLAYING HERE! Whenever I can get the chance I play here, cuz if you can pack it, you're gonna have an awesome show!!!! If you don't fill the room, it might be a nightmare, but man, you can really have a good time here! The staff takes great care of ya, and the crowd goes coocoo for the oldies! How that giant parking lot is always packed I'll never understand, but hey! Decently huge stage, nice expansive dance floor, and a good sounding room makes for great shows!"
"One of my favorite places to go when visiting my grandparents up in Green Bay. Food is always delicious and well priced. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant and bar area! Staff is super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the fish and chili! Their chicken and rice soup is delicious as well! There is a good amount of parking available!"
"I was a guest at a wedding at the Cupola Barn this weekend, let me tell you what a gorgeous location for a wedding this place is! Simply stunning backdrop for wedding photos. It was rustic but stylishly chic at the same time time. The grounds are truly picturesque! I wish I had taken more photos. Everything was immaculately maintained and clean. I wish I could share the wedding photos but they are not my pictures to share. Trust me though, they are amazing and so beautiful! I can tell you, as a guest of a wedding here, it is an absolutely fantastic location if you want truly memorable wedding photos! It is just so rustic and charming. They did not have AC but there were many windows and fans to keep the air flowing and the room ventilated. They had a surprisingly nice trailer for the restrooms which had AC. They were spotlessly clean and had RV like toilets. They did not smell at all and had running water for the sinks. If I'm ever crazy enough to get married again, it would be here."
"Nice spot to hang out and enjoy the neighborhood and chat with locals. You'll see bicyclists, joggers and people walking their dogs or puppies. These healthy folks deserve this brewery. Although I do have to keep quiet about my Bears loyalty whilst here. I can't wear, let's say a Bears shirt or my Bears hat. Lol!!They have a very good beer selection and you'll notice that they rotate their line-up which means that sometimes, there won't be a sour beer that's available. But that's ok, they still have a lot to choose from. And I've never had a bad beer here. There's plenty of seating inside and two tables outside. They have pinball too. I guess my only complaint is I took home two crowlers and after a couple of weeks, one of the cans popped and leaked all over my dining room floor. I then put the second can and put that on my kitchen counter and that too popped (I'm such an idiot, I should have drank that second crowler), on its own and that was the second mess. I say all that to say - drink your crowlers as fast as you can. Although I had never experienced that before?? I missed out on two great beers (see pic)."
"This light show had been on my list of things to do the last few winters but we never made it. A friend talked it up after I described a holiday light show we recently went to in St. Paul. I bought tickets on-line for one of the last shows before Christmas on a night when the weather was going to be reasonable. We heard parking would be an issue so we got there right at 4:30pm and we were glad we did.We were able to find parking relatively close on the street and the line to get in was rather short compared to what is was when we left. The line at that time was super long and given some people did not buy tickets ahead of time it must have taken a long time to get in.The light display was fantastic and it is hard to believe how many lights are throughout the park. It was a stunning show and well worth the price of admission. This was by far the best holiday light show we have ever seen.Highly recommended!"
"This is where my Nephew and his new Wife had their wedding reception. Congratulations Clif and Ariell! The food was served family style. They started with a Salad that had nice combination of veggies that included some great little Grape Tomatoes. Sides were Green Beans with Almonds and Roasted Potatoes. Both were good, but the potatoes were so good we wanted to take them back to our hotel room! I even tried to get the recipe from the waitress. The main courses were Breaded Chicken and Pepper Steak. Again, both were very good. As with any wedding reception, the best part was the celebration of family and friends. Any chance I get to spend time with my family rates a 5 star experience! Besides, I even got my dance on after dinner!"
"We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and had a great time. We worked with Justin D., who was always pleasant and very helpful, and even let us create our own special drink with a store-bought syrup, etc. We did the fish fry dinner and the food was very good and kept getting replenished. We also did the ice cream sundae bar, which I think was the highlight and is highly recommended for any event! Justin was flexible with the choice of ice cream toppings, etc., and it was truly a pleasure to work with him.I think the space is beautiful and has a great location, too, with a view of the Capitol if you go outside and just steps away from The Terrace. I have gone for lunch many times too, and overall it's a good place to meet and dine."
"This was a long time bookmark that I knew one day that I would stop for a beer and wings because I like to do that once in a while. The place is spectacular and nothing like your parents bowling alley because it's modern and shiny/clean and really a family fun destination with a huge open bowling alley, game room that's closed off probably for C19, a dark alley with laser lights, bar, restaurant etc etc.The woman who served me was friendly and took care of me right away. They have a nice little bar in the dark alley section that has a few taps so I ordered the angry orchard that was cold and refreshing on a summer day. I was going to get out of my comfort zone of buffalo wings and get a different flavor today so I ordered the garlic Parmesan for a change that was sauced and came with a blue cheese dipper and celery/carrots.I have to say that for a bowling alley the wings looked impressive and not the skimpy small ones with approximately 10 wings and they smelled amazing. My first thought after my first bite was that these wings are fuc#ing delicious with a nice crispy shell. The wings were meaty, moist, and cooked perfect with no rubbery/stringy meat like some places serve. The blue cheese sauce was a little different but still good.In all honesty I have to say that the wings that I had today was some of the better wings that I have had and better than some of the hyped places on the Milwaukee best wings list that disappointed me. That list still amazes me because Milwaukee has some hidden gems when it comes to wings that have no mention anywhere. This is an easy stop on my way home from work so this just might be my go to wing place out of convenience but it didn't topple my favorite wing place but it's right there."
"My sister Camille and I recently utilized Apis for our mother's funeral luncheon. Our experience was incredible. The manager, Ken, was very helpful, kind and genuine. He paid special attention to detail and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were attended to, especially as we were trying to organize the luncheon from out of state. The servers and bartenders who helped us were also lovely. The food and drinks were delicious and the menu has a nice variety. The event room was beautiful as was the bar and restaurant area. The space has high ceilings and a lot of natural light. We are so grateful for the recommendation to use Apis and would use them again and again without hesitation. We cannot thank the entire staff for all your hard work and kindness!"
"What a great little champagne bar! We went here because it looked cool. The bar itself was empty but we didnt care. They have totally reasonable prices on champagne, if thats your thing. They also have some really great champagne cocktails. It reminds me of Pops for Champagne in Chicago...LOVEIt fulfilled our need for Saturday day drinks while walking around the Third Ward. Not to mention its on the 4th floor of a really cool building. The bar itself is a circle bar. There are a couple of small tables by the windows and there is a really large room connected...not really sure how that is normally set up because it was empty when we were there but I guess it was because Gallery night the night before.Check it out!"
"Maharaja is our go to for Indian food. We live just a few blocks away so we get carry out once a month or so. Lamb Saag is a must and is always delicious. Lately the Madras chicken is our second dish along with naan. The food is consistent , well prepared, and with medium spice , flavorful but not overwhelming"
"What a great experience! The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. I've never been bird hunting before, I've just shot trap. I went out with a group of 4, a guide and 2 dogs. I got 2 pheasants! They clean the birds for you so they're ready to take home. We had lunch before the hunt and it was delicious, I recommend the pheasant jalapeño poppers and the elk burger. After you hunt, enjoy some drinks around the fireplace!"
"The food here isn't great, but the prices are. Every night there's some food special, and it's a very popular neighborhood bar so arrive early and don't expect to get your food too quickly. It's okay there are also always drink specials, it's a beer on tap place so don't order anything fancy. The crowd here is all White and middle aged, but I felt welcome or at least accepted."
"Wonderful tasting room at the edge of the downtown Cedarburg area. We were visiting Cedarburg for the first time and ran into this great tasting room. The Wines were definitely the best we sampled from any of the other wineries in town. The space is really nice and very large, plenty of different places to sit and sample. The service was informative and very welcoming. We did a couple of flights and and really enjoyed quite a few. The prices are reasonable as well. Not much more to say, great space, friendly and very good wines. Make sure you check it out when your in Cedarburg."
"Several more visits since last review, and still great experiences. Tonight, a friend and I shared the Waygu Meatballs with Burrata and Caramelized Brussels sprouts as starters. The meatballs were a perfectly firm texture with the right amount of seasoning. The Brussels sprouts were as great as they look in the photo! My friend ordered the Ricotta Gnocchi, and I ordered the Bucatini Bolognese. The pasta and gnocchi are made in house. I had a couple pieces of her gnudi (gnocchi made from ricotta) and found them to bee too dense, but the sauce they were served in was delicious! My bucatini was a perfect texture, and the bolognese sauce tasted great! It's made with wagyu beef and Berkshire pork, so I wish the sauce had a lot less cream, so the meat could stand out in a thinner tomato sauce. Again, great flavor! For dessert, we shared the Chocolate Sachet, filled with white chocolate mousse and raspberry puree, and it was mind blowingly decadent! The Limoncello Chambord Mousse with sugar cookie was also decadent, but the Chocolate Sachet was our favorite! We each ordered a cocktail. I had the Blood Orange Manhattan, and it was one of the best cocktails I've ever had! Their cocktail program is pretty strong! I've enjoyed many over the years from them. Our service from Emily and Mary was on point! They were both fun and personable. The view of the lake across the street, as we dined on the patio, added to the great experience! They've been here for 10 years and still going strong! Check them out!"
"The Grain Exchange Room is a stunning event space in downtown Milwaukee located in the historical Mackie Building. With ceiling stretching at least three stories high and tons of gorgeous architectural touches, this space would make a stunning backdrop to any event. The space is big enough for 500 guests at a cocktail style event or 350 seated. They're associated with the Bartolotta Restaurant group, who offer catering for events. A truly elegant space for large events."
"I was a vendor at Over the Vines today. What a beautiful space! The barn, the view, every detail is perfect. The staff is helpful and professional. They seemed to have thought of all the details when planning their beautiful, rustic location. I can't say what working with them as a client is like, but if it is half as lovely as the experience I had today then it would be wonderful."
"Can't say enough good things about the St James! Beautiful venue for any kind of event, especially a wedding! The chairs are comfortable, the lighting is romantic, and the vibes are immaculate!"
