"We had an amazing dinner at Fox & Crow. The appetizers and entrees were outstanding. We started with chorizo stuffed dates -- AMAZING! My Risotto was velvety and rich. My husband truly enjoyed the Schnitzel. Crème Brûlée is always my favorite. If we lived closer this would be our usual spot."
"Awesome thank you for the great dinner and dessert was heaven service was top notch! Ambiance was great!"

"Pleasantly surprised by this new place in the heart of Pewaukee Beach! The decor and menu was inviting so I was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar during the Beach Party! Service was prompt by the waitstaff and bartender. The tenderloin sliders were fresh and flavorful with just the right portions. The bruschetta was a great surprise trio which included a fruit and Brie which was like a dessert. Walked out happy and satisfied"
"My son just graduated from Navy Boot Camp so tonight was a special night. He was craving steak and I found this local steakhouse on yelp. I called and they accommodated a reservation for 4. We parked out front on the street but then discovered that the entrance was actually in the rear. The exterior is nicely decorated, but was out done by the interior. The ambiance and decor was very inviting and kind of gave a speakeasy feeling. My son ordered the 22 oz Ribeye and a side lobster tail. Overall, the food was delicious and the service is impeccable. We will definitely be returning. Oh, and we really appreciate that they comped my son's meal as a way of thanking him for his military service. Big thumps up!!"
"30 minute wait on a Saturday afternoon for an outside table... worth the wait! And, they text you when your table is ready so you can shop around town while waiting. Sis and I wanted a cocktail and light bite. I had an amazing Lavender Haze, she had a Mule. We had sweet potato fries and roasted red pepper hummus w cucs and crackers- PERFECT!Our server Stephanie was helpful, professional, and friendly. She made thoughtful suggestions. She's a gem!!"
"Love, love, love this place. Awesome staff and the patio is dog friendly. Live music and you can also hear the music from across the street when the park has music. The drinks and the food are amazing. You definitely have to check this place out."
"The food was delicious and the service was excellent to begin with, but when the restaurant started getting very crowded, they were woefully understaffed. We would go back, but not on Saturday evening again. The place was very nice and there were many different places to sit, including outside on the roof overlooking the street, so that was great."
"Brandon's service was impeccable. Do get: lamb queso fundido y beef empanadas y thai duck y argentine steak , and car bomb for dessert. Don't bother with ceviche (tuna was cooked practically through) . Vibe was awesome. Food was seriously next level delicious and plates were easy to share. This would be a repeat spot for me if ai lived here."
"First time at Harvey's!!! Wow!!! Very good find thanks to our friends. This is definitely a want to come back place. We had for drinks, Byrrh-Bon Cherry tart, Old Fashioned Sweet, Harvey's Manhattan and a Chardonnay. Starter-Grilled Baby artichokes brandied chicken liver pâté. Dinner includes, Gumbo, shrimp fettuccine, Veal Marsala, and Scallops dinner that was one of the specials of the day. Our server DAN was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the drinks and food . This is a place where you can sit around your table and listen to everyone at the table. Nice music in the background but not overpowering."
"Flourchild finally has a home. Starting off slanging frozen take and bake pies they established themselves a following and now they made themselves a spot to call home. Located right on trendy N Milwaukee Street next to such greats as Third Coast Provisions, Cubanitas and Electric Lime Taqueria, this new(ish) pizza joint has emerged. Serving frozen pizzas or fresh out the oven to go, Flourchild has crafted some especially special pies for your consumption. As I'm a pizza whore I keep a few different establishments for pies under my belt. So we joined Flourchilds club, get some great deals and most of all have another solid pizza joint on our list of go to spots.Next time we eat here it won't be to go, it'll be stop in and stay awhile. I ordered to go last time I was craving some za and when I walked in, I was blown away by such a hip trendy space with a whole slew of fancy bar seating."
"I'm new to this joint and probably need to take the tapas for a spin next time. Today I tried the old-fashioned and was pleasantly surprised by the presentation and flavor. Happy hour special is $5 and that's for brandy or whiskey. The ambiance is very nice too as is the street parking especially after 6pm when the meters are done for the day."

This place was amazing. Small business and the owner and found out that the owner is a nutritionist, Hope I heard that correctly. Our server was amazing by theway. She took good 1care of us.Awesome place and added bonus it's right in front of the beach!my favorite was their MUSHROOM RISOTTO and I added SHRIMP, It was so good I was actually thinking of doing ordering one for take out. But next time. Their GRILLEDOCTOPUS was cooked perfectly! Very tender and flavorful. I am definitely going back whenever I am in the area. The food and service were both phenomenal.Happy Eating !

They probably have the best patio seating in all of the mequon/cedarburg area. I love it in the summer! The restaurant itself isn't that big so the one time I went in the winter it just felt a little cramped. But anyway, in addition to the patio, our waitress was so attentive/enthusiastic/positive & the food is great. Our appetizers were a little out of my usual but they were incredible. The tuna tartare was very much so like a deconstructed sushi roll. The squash medley was actually seasoned so well and had a lot of flavor with the crema they added on top. Around the table everyone loved their meals. The berry salad was so fresh and a great portion. The adult grilled cheese was really hearty with the added chicken (extra charge). The burger was cooked well and the sweet potatoes were so crispy and perfectly salty. Lastly, the garden wrap was crunchy, fresh, and tasty. The only change recommended would be a more savory hummus in that wrap-- it almost tasted sweet (maybe like a red pepper hummus?). Overall can't wait to go back, we left feeling very satisfied!

Very nice upscale bar restaurant with a limited but diverse menu. The food was fairly large portions, well seasoned and cooked right. Good choice of mixed drinks, bourbon whiskey and scotch, wine and beer on tap. Enjoyable dining experience (maybe a bit loud in the dining room )

We returned to one of our Milwaukee faves for date night this weekend and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed the La Merenda salad, the goat cheese curds (always a favorite), the butternut squash gnocchi, Argentinian beef, and tres leches cakes. Always looking for good NA bevs, I had the faux fizz mocktail and my husband enjoyed the Riverwest Stein NA beer. Our server was super friendly and paced everything nicely. It's always great to revisit a favorite and be reminded why we love it in the first place!

"This winery just about an hour outside of Milwaukee is a real gem! In addition to a nice selection of whites and reds, they had sangria slushees! I was able to add one to my flight of cabs, so refreshing. I enjoyed getting to try a bunch of different barrel aged cabernets. They gave a nice food menu. When wine tasting, you have to get a charcuterie board. At least that's my opinion and the cheeses, meat, peach jam and nuts did not disappoint. We also got a pepperoni pizza. Their crust is amazing! It's not thin but it's not too thick either. It's kind of bubbly and airy.We enjoyed their outdoor patio. Normally I'd say it was a beautiful space and leave it at that. Now with COVID, and I'll add a bit more. Tables were spaced out for distancing, no more than 6 people at a table, no moving chairs or table. Staff all wearing masks and wearing them correctly. Will come back for sure. Was the perfect mini day trip."
"I've been to Strange Town a number of times at this point and have yet to be disappointed. The first time I took myself out for a date (wine and reading). Such a unique, funky, and interesting space. Being a veg myself, I was delighted to try out a number of dishes on the menu. All so tasty! their wine list is amazing. I know very little about wine, but they seem to have crafted a remarkable wine list for a small restaurant. The waitress who helped me was very kind and let me take my time with the menu. I had to narrow it down to a few options since it was just me. She was super attentive, but let me have my space as well. It's in a great location on the East Side, walkable to a number of breweries, bars, and shopping. I enjoyed my time at Strange Town, reading my book and drinking wine. Highly recommend especially if you live on the East Side and/or are vegetarian or vegan."
"I can see why the Diplomat is considered one of the best places to eat in the Midwest! I have some temporary food allergies and have been unable to eat out as usual for the past couple of months, and I mentioned it to the staff not expecting them to accommodate or go out of their way. I figured if anything, I could enjoy a few drinks and probably a salad. The staff and chef were so accommodating--it was unexpected and so sweet of them to work around some of the ingredients. Aside from that, the food was also delicious! I had the trout dish and my husband had the Diplomac (pictured). He said it was tasty and the hand cut fries were a real treat. I love supporting local businesses, and I can't believe it took me so long to make it in for dinner. I look forward to coming by again for a drink and food in the future. Once I am able to eat more items, I look forward to exploring more of their menu. Definitely check them out! You will see why Chef Dane is considered a gem in the Midwest."
"Odd Duck is a gem with a cozy atmosphere with yummy tapas and amazing service. The elegant decor sets the mood for an intimate dining experience. The menu has many incredible tapas options, each bursting with unique flavors. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and attended to, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Odd Duck truly exceeds expectations in every aspect, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a remarkable culinary adventure. I love this place!"
"My goodness--what's not to love?Located in an historic church (built in 1868), the building itself is one of the oldest on its original foundation in Delafield. Additionally, Delafield is an adorable small town--so, the charm level here is off the charts. Their menu is as locally sourced as possible and thus can change seasonally. They have a robust cocktail menu so on a recent trip here, my dining companion and I opted to start things off with some sips. I opted for the bourbon cognac old fashioned and my dining companion got the black manhattan. Both were stellar (I stole a sip). I had been unsure of the combination of bourbon and cognac--but that was entirely unwarranted. Their tenders know what they're doing and their mixology is on point. For my lunch, I opted for the chicken avocado salad. This salad was fresh and a lovely balance of greens, chicken, chevre, avocado, figs, and what appeared to be house made croutons--all drizzled with a champagne vinaigrette. It was stunning. The service was lovely. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and had a 45 minute wait (not entirely unexpected). The good news? They take reservations, which I'd recommend to avoid the wait.Get to it!"
"Stopped in to use a drink coupon and I had a delightful experience! It was an early evening on a Sunday and at first we were unsure if the place was open, but it was! A handful of people were seated at the bar and we were greeted by a hostess who got us seated on the back patio(which is super cute). Our waitress greeted us shortly with water glasses and a pitcher and provided drink menus. Their cocktail list was impressive and fun! They even offer a variety of mocktails that looked refreshing. My coupon was good for a Paloma and it hit the spot! I would definitely return for cocktails and I would love to check out their food! It'd be a great date spot or ladies night out!"
"Great wine selection. The food was good although limited menu. Our server and bar tender were very nice and attentive. Had dinner two consecutive nights while in town. I will go back again to try the Boar dishes I didn't have the courage to eat. My associate had it and said it was amazing."
"Overall a beautiful restaurant with a historic feel. This place has excellent service with a creative menu that's well placed and easy to understand. Strongly recommended. I didn't have any of the drinks here but some in my party has and loved it."
"We have been here twice now, and I feel like it warrants a review! I dont recall the exact food we got the first time, so I'll focus on one second experience. We arrived and were seated in the front area by the door. It has a bit of a cozy library vibe, and we could see the patio area behind us (not open yet when we went). It did end up getting a little loud in the small space after a large group arrived and was seated next to us, but nothing too bad.For starters, I got the cauliflower soup and hubs got the caesar salad. Both were very good.I got the sweet potato gnocchi, and hubs got the bavette steak special. Both meals were plated beautifully and tasted great as well.To finish, we got 2 different flavors of ice cream - maple and blueberry/lavender. The maple was great, the lavender was good but very heavily floral (hubs loves that kind of thing so he ate it all!).We will for sure come back here again. Price wise I think everything is fair and makes for a good date night spot."
"What a fun and surprising find! Nestled near the downtown Greendale this location has ample parking a gorgeous outdoor fire pit and open doors concept weather permitting! Quite an extensive menu that was hard to decide but the shrimp taco hit the spot as did the Mexican corn, which comes in a nice fun bowl with lots of crema goodness! The daily specials look very inviting and I can't wait to go back to try the margarita flights"
"We came to Braise for our friends' wedding rehearsal dinner and were absolutely blown away by this place. The food was amazing (you cannot pass on the steamed pork buns)! Service was great as well. All the servers and bartenders were attentive and made the night go by seamless. We were also able to enjoy their rooftop patio which was such a cool space. We can't wait to return to Braise the next time we're in Milwaukee"
"I like to start off by saying it's better then John's dock. They have a classy spot now and good staff on hand. The food is really good as is the service. I've been several times now as it's really close. Everytime was a pleasant experience. It seems to draw the right kind of crowd 30+ year olds. It's a nice place to stop have a few drinks and something to eat."
"Another great meal at Char'd! If you are dining here, do not sleep on the dumplings. They are to die for! I went for the spicy squid and pork this time. Spicy, savory, delicious. I also tried the yuzu beez specialty cocktail and really enjoyed it! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. The service this visit was a little off. The food came out quickly. But our server was not very present as you would normally expect. Could be an off night. One other thing to note. We had a party of 6. It is not unusual to see a gratuity added for a party our size, and it was. But what was unusual was it was listed on the bill as a "service charge". That was unusual to me so I asked about it and was advised that it was a gratuity. I wasn't upset about it. But I would prefer to see it listed as a gratuity. Regardless, we will be back for the amazing food!"
"Been Visiting from CA for a week, haven't had a decent meal here in WI as of yet. FINALLY a place I can gladly give Five Stars. Ordered 14" Thin Crust Supreme, Side Chopped Salad and Zucchini Fries. Everything was on point, even managed to smuggle a few pieces of pizza in my backpack for flight back home the next morning. Definitely recommend and next time I'm back in Wauwatosa will order from here again."
"Beautiful little gem in historic Greendale! We made a reservation for a Tuesday evening-although the restaurant was mostly empty, most of us were seated in close proximity to each other. We were greeted by our lovely server, our drink orders came out promptly. We were offered the daily amuse bouche-cucumber topped with a salmon salad-tasty & refreshing way to start our meal. We ordered a few things to share-the dill pickle flatbread was good, but in my opinion not "pickley" enough. The beet salad was fresh & light. The pierogies were good, but not the best I've ever had. We ended the meal with an egg nog tiramisu which was decadent. All in all, we enjoyed our visit & will be back to try other menu items!"
"My boyfriend and I really love this place - from the vibe to the food - it all hits! I don't know what it was like before, but apparently, they made this place bigger. The first time I came here was for happy hour with the cousins. They had great deals on tapas and appetizers. The next time was for a Valentine's dinner with the boyfriend. Again, they had a great deal. The service is always great - super friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. I love the patatas bravos, empanadillas, and Jason croquets. The hot honey toast is yummy - although I prefer thinner crispier bread. I tried the paella during happy hour - not really a fan. But I am very picky about my rice dishes...Overall, this is a fantastic place for date night or a group outing. We will definitely be back!!!"
