"I love wings so my friend decided to take me here. A simple menu, with a simple wing. No extra flavors, no extra seasonings-- you get the OG of wings and it's done perfectly! There is a ton of seating, TVs to watch whatever sport you're into and a nice bar in the back with all sorts of beverages for you to choose from. The drinks are affordable and strong, and the wings were cooked to perfection. This spot was delicious. I've been thinking about the wings ever since I had it. The staff was super friendly and this is a must stop for me whenever I'm in Cream City!"

"I just never seemed wowed by this place but I know others love it. My most recent visit was St. Patrick's day. We went early enough so it wasn't very busy. They had a burrata eggs Benedict that sounded delicious. I also want to note that there is a whole section of the menu dedicated the eggs Benedict. The server came over several times to apologize for the delay in our food but they could only poach so many eggs at a time. Curious to why you would do a special that has poached eggs and have so many options of egg Benedict's when your kitchen isn't able to handle it? Our food finally arrived and it was fine but the eggs were more fried over easy and not poached. Would I go back? Sure, but not in a hurry."

"Pizza at Wilderness Resort is disgusting. Delivered large green owl supreme from here was fantastic- fresh veggies on top, quality mozz, delivered warm. The crust and style is almost medium by density. It is definitively not NY style pizza as advertised and i wouldn't really call it thin either. No biggie. But the Mediterranean salad WAS AWESOME. Really as good or better quality than what you'd get in Madison. Surrounded by the junk at the resort, this was a welcome respite, loved the pitted olives and feta especially. They provided plates and cutlery as well. Before tip i thjnk it was 35 and took about that long to deliver as well. Thanks!"

"This is a great sports bar with more than enough TVs to ensure you will be able to watch your game from any seat in the place. Bucks, Brewers, Packers, and Bills fans will feel right home at Steny's. The staff provides friendly service and is attentive. Regarding the food, it is great pub food. For appetizers, you can't go wrong with their cheese curds. I tend to get wings when I visit, there is a great selection of dry and wet seasonings. My personal favorites are honey BBQ and lemon garlic. Steny's has a large drink menu with plenty of high-quality micro and macro beers and their bloody marys are some of the best in town."

"My husband and I stopped in for a casual lunch on our 1 year anniversary. It wasn't super busy. I ordered the chicken adobo sandwich with coleslaw and loved them both. My husband ordered the cheese curd burger and waffle fries. He loved them as well. In fact the burger was so big he couldn't even finish it, which is unheard of. Service started off great but then was just ok towards end of our meal (it took awhile to get our check so we didn't get drink refills). It could have been better since it wasn't very busy. But we'll be back for sure."

"Our visit to Emil's Tavern on Center was met with a mix of positives and areas that could use improvement. Arriving on a Saturday night, we found the place to be decently packed, reflecting its popularity among patrons.Unfortunately, the seating arrangement was not ideal. Despite requesting a booth, we were seated at a larger 7-8 seater booth, which felt excessive for just two people. It would have been more comfortable to have a smaller, more intimate space.To our disappointment, the restaurant was out of their specials, limiting our choices for the evening. However, the Bee's Sting pizza with mushrooms that we ordered turned out to be a highlight. The pizza had a nice, crispy crust and the combination of flavors was enjoyable. We also tried the Buffalo chicken wrap with Sweet potato fries, which was decent but did not stand out as exceptional.One minor inconvenience was the initial lack of plates when our food was served. We thought we would have to eat directly from the shared platter, but plates were eventually provided. However, it would have been better if this detail had been addressed promptly.Regrettably, the service fell short when we wanted to order Buffalo sauce. Despite our request, the server did not return to our table, leaving us without the desired condiment for our meal. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing and affected our overall experience.Despite these shortcomings, the ambiance of Emil's Tavern on Center was pleasant and had a lively atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and accommodating when initially seating us, and the Summer Shandy beer I ordered was enjoyable.While Emil's Tavern on Center had its moments of satisfaction, the issues with seating, unavailability of specials, lack of attention to detail, and incomplete service prevented us from having a truly exceptional dining experience. With some improvements, this establishment has the potential to provide a more consistent and enjoyable visit for its patrons."

"I'm at the Brewers game after a troubling ending to my experience with a Kelly's employee boarding the shuttle buses to the game. My wife and I came out of the restaurant and stood in line to board the shuttle. Out of all the people waiting, he denied my access to the shuttle claiming he saw me come down the street and get in line. He was loud, smelled of alcohol and had a reddish beard, a cap and was a white male. So why me? Because I'm an attorney and former judge? No, it's because I'm Mexican. He made up a story and ordered me to buy something at Kelly's and spend some money. I spoke up and told him he was dead wrong. He ordered me to walk to the game. The experience was humiliating. My wife offered to show him our receipt. He didn't want to look at it. I expected an apology. Nothing came other than his stating you've made mistakes in your life too, haven't you? I'm over 6ft and pushing 300lbs. Not many doppelgängers in my world. Kelly's can do better. I've been a regular at Kelly's since 2011 and used the shuttle on so many occasions. sad that this gentleman is part of the Make America great movement I was born here and since I eat at Kelly's I don't eat dog or cat either. Not on the menu."

I got the two piece cod fish fry and it was pretty alright, it wasn't anything to write home about but still a good meal. The ranch is yummy on the fries and the Buffalo tots were awesome. The fish was super hot and so were the fries so it was really great to know it didn't sit under a heat lamp forever, I'd definitely go back and give the rest of their food a try. The only reason I gave a four star and not five was simply because I wasn't totally blown away, still, good food and a great drink!"

This bar is very large with a log cabin decor on the inside, there's even a huge fireplace, p[lus a side party room for events or overflow.We went for a packer game and large TVs were everywhere, There's "pick a square" and a drawing every quarterDuring the game they have an awesome deal, a full pitcher of beer, and a full pitcher of wings, There's also appetizer combos, pizzas, and shots.I saw a couple of people walking around with fishbowlsDuring the game you fill in a hundred square chart for games, winners are picked every quarterThis is one of the cleanest bars I've been because of the covid, and cant wait to get back"

We arrived two hours prior and had our choice of many outside tables.The menu is quite vast and features a lot of Reuben dishes, including a Reuben roll similar to a egg roll.I personally had a Reuben salad which included fresh greens, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, lots of corned beef, and pumpernickel croutons. A side of thousand Island dressing was the perfect dressing. I totally recommend the Reuben salad for a filling and delicious lunch.Spend $10 per person and grab a ticket to their free shuttle to the game. So convenient!"

Friday night fish fry included 3 pieces of fried walleye pike, potatoes (baked, French fries or hash browns with onions and peppers covered in Wisconsin cheese), a roll and soup (clam chowder), salad or coleslaw. The fish was delicious with tarter sauce. Get the hash browns. Ordered take out while driving and it was hot, fresh, and a perfect dinner. Buy local!"

"Visited Nico's for the first time today. A friend raved about their Oconomowoc location, so I was looking forward to trying them. I bought one of their frozen pizzas at Metcalfe's Market for $16 and was disappointed.Today's experience at their new West Allis location, in the former Crawdaddy's and Shakey's space, was a great experience! I ordered the 12" Classic, which is topped with BIG chunks of Italian Sausage, red onions, and fresh mushrooms, and I added pepperoni.The first thing I noticed was how thick the pizza was with cheese and toppings. Then I picked up a slice and was surprised by how well the crispy, Tavern Cut, slice held the heavy toppings. This was true of the center slices, as well. Super thin crust that doesn't flop or get soft in the center! That speaks to the quality of the ingredients, how well the pizza dough is made, and the temperature of the oven.The pizza tasted great, and I will be back. It may already be in my top 5 favorite thin crust pizzas in Milwaukee."

The sliders came on a toasted bun which was great but the meat was a bit over cooked. PS...I know sliders can be tricky.The fish tacos were good. They came out hot and tasty. Too bad the chips, while warm, were a bit stale"

"How have I lived in Rockford for years and never heard of this place?! This is a hidden gem.There are many things going for this spot. It might be small, but it's mighty. A very long beer list, great whiskey options, and a full bar to start you off right.The food is good, and they run daily specials which you can find on the homepage of their website. We came on a Wednesday so I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and got $2 off. Between the rest of our family, we ordered the brat Mac n cheese (unique and delicious), wings (70 cents on Wednesdays), the Detour burger (my favorite of the bunch) and the Cobb salad. The salads were my least favorite (which I guess is not surprising).The service is good and it was not crowded which opened up the staff to make us feel very cared for. The biggest plus about this place is the value. Most of the menu options are under $10 (and that's not even with the daily special discounts applied) and worth every penny. The only negative I can think of is that I've been missing out all these years. Excited we've found another great hidden spot in Rockford!"
