"Holy cow! This place isAwesome. I was told we were going here for my kids birthday lunch. I blew it off as just a lunch, I was wrong. The place is casual and unassuming, but who cares? The service was friendly and attentive, so that is great. As a family we had the pork dumplings (name?), I think it was Gyoza, And they were delish. As a main I had the black Garlic Ramen and it was delish. The broth was indescribable and the pork and noodles were the bests. My wife had the veggie tempura and loved it. My kids, 15 and 19 had a California roll and loved it. Such a great place. Get the Ramen. Go! Here!!"
"I had Japanese curry for the first time ever at a Japanese supermarket in Illinois a few months ago and have been craving it ever since. Upon searching the Milwaukee area for a place that has Japanese curry on the menu, I stumbled across this place. Decided to finally give it a try yesterday and I sure wish I had come here sooner! The curry here is AMAZING! I could eat it all day, every day. My fiancé ordered tonkotsu ramen which he also enjoyed. We ate our meals so fast, we did not get any pictures to share. HOWEVER, I do have a picture of an adorable keychain I bought after our meal. They have some of these hanging from the light fixtures throughout the restaurant. :) Highly recommend this place if you're looking for some great Japanese food!"
"Loyal customer , I tried something different this time, the Bento box! Has nice variety of food!"
"Stopped in for lunch today. It was my 3rd visit to this location, and my experiences have all been very good!Today I ordered the Shekhar specialty roll with tempura shrimp, spicy tuna, avocado, wasabi mayo, and sriracha, and the Pork Belly Tonkotsu Ramen. The sushi roll was delicious and provided different textures, and the ramen checked all the boxes for me when it comes to Tonkotsu, which is my go-to style. The broth was well-seasoned with a milky texture. The noodles were perfectly cooked with the right texture and held the flavor of the broth. The pork belly was tender enough to be pulled apart with the chop sticks, and they were mostly lean, so if you don't like fatty pork belly, these would be perfect for you. I would have liked some fat in the pork belly for additional flavor, but this pork belly hit the spot!My server checked on my periodically, and I enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar, next to the window.Screaming Tuna is one of the 3 or 4 businesses in the Mequon Public Market that I go back to when I'm in the area, which isn't often. They have a large enough menu for different tastes. Check them out!"
"I went here one night with two friends, two of us got Poke and one got Ramen. The ramen was OK but nothing spectacular- it hits the spot if you want something warm and nourishing, but there's better Ramen in town. The Poke was fresh and lovely. Service was a little slow but very kind and pleasant. And the service was slower because everything was made from scratch and Ramen takes a little time to assemble, we were there just before closing so there was only one cook. That's fine but if you're in a big rush, don't go just before close. It was a lovely meal and I'll go back when I'm in the neighborhood again."

I hadn't been to Kawa since before they temporarily closed due to an unexpected fire in the apartments above, but I'm so glad I finally went back. I tried The Amazing Roll, and it was truly amazing! I love when a roll leans on the fresher side, and this one nailed it--cold and delicious lobster salad on top, tempura shrimp and avocado inside, and a spicy kimchi sauce to bring it all together.I also had the tonkotsu ramen. The pork was great, but I wish the egg was a little jammier, and the portion felt a bit small for the price. I grew up around a lot of great ramen spots, so I'll admit my expectations are high. It's a solid option for a ramen fix, but not the best I've ever had.Our server was outstanding--quick, attentive, and had such a contagious positive energy. Inside it is also very cute with lots of natural wood and it definitely has a modern feel. Overall, a great experience! I'll definitely be back for The Amazing Roll because it lives up to its name.

By far the most bland food I've ordered from anywhere ever. It's like they're afraid of using seasonings. The sushi was great but the ramen is TERRIBLE. Tasted like straight up water.

The food was amazing! It was so fresh and hot. It was so filling! I could not eat it all! I definitely want to go back and try another dish. There was plenty of seating! You order at the register and then your food is brought to you.

Big fan of the screaming tuna Mequon! The sushi is always fresh and tasty, this was the first time we did take out and everything went smoothly. Love popping into the vibrant public market building it has great energy! Checkout and pickup was easy, however we did still get charged a $6 DoorDash fee ordering pickup which seems unnecessary... not sure if that was a mistake or what but would be nice if they were more transparent with those hidden fees. Our order was all correct, we ordered 6 rolls and spring rolls for 4 people and it was just about right! Eye of the Tiger, Buddha Roll and the Screaming Tuna Signature roll are some favs.

We ordered out via Doordash from Tsuta Ramen & Poke. I hadn't been feeling well and Ramen was the only thing the sounded semi good so I thought let's give it a try. Our order was set to arrive between 5:30-5:50, but at 5:27 I received an update that it would be delayed by a hour. Not the end of the world, but a hour is a significant delay. Once the food arrived I can confidently sat it was worth the wait! Wow, was it good. They charge by ingredient for the build your own bowl option so it is pricey, but if you do not want the hassle of making it yourself this is the place to go!We ordered a build your own poke bowl with Carrot, cucumber, jalapeno, spicy salmon, cilantro, onion, green, tempura flake, dried seaweed, sesame seed, chicken, white rice, and spicy mayo ($20.50). We also got a ramen bowl with cilantro, spinach, green onion, hard boiled egg, chicken, tempura flakes, beef broth, ramen noodle ($29.25). Both were very good and we will be returning!

My husband and I were super excited to visit & it did not disappoint! The vibe is very cool & different. Service staff is lovely, very knowledgeable, and everyone is so so kind. And of course food & drinks are a 10/10. Definitely a must hit if you're looking for some yummy, warm, comfort food or if you want to impress folks with a unique menu & experience!

This is a great place for reasonably priced sushi. We got this platter to go which easily filled our family. You have to do chef selection but it was all pretty straightforward rolls and included some of our favorite. Will be an easy Sunday night meal option for us again!

I was super excited to have an option for Ramen out this way and kept hearing good things about Osaka.First the good: everyone working there is super friendly and helpful. The fried rice we had was really good, had that nice wok char that is hard to find around here. The braised short rib ramen, was pretty good. The rib was delicious. The broth however was so spicy almost bordering on too spicy (and we like spicy). They do not offer a kids menu so my son and I split the beef ramen; it was one of the few ramen dishes that did not have a spicy broth.Unfortunately the beef ramen was not good. The broth had a weird taste and was super salty. The beef in the ramen was very gristly and just didn't taste good. For 3 items and a bubble tea with tip it was over $80, which to me was kind of pricey for what we got. I may get fried rice again but if I'm craving ramen I'll go somewhere else.

"Ooh yes! Amazingly flavorful food and drinks! Excited to come back there again! Tried fried avocado, umami fries and sumo ramen."
"Not the highest quality sushi, but well worth the price. This giant sushi boat was only $58. Also it seems most people get takeout from this place cuz we were the only ones sitting there for 3 hours lol. Pretty good ambience I'd say tho!"
"Service was excellent from the minute you walked in. Very limited seating of 5 tables for 2 people and then 2 table for 4 people. You order at the counter then the food will come to your table and they'll call your ticket (receipt) number if neededBased on the one entree that I ordered it was very good"
"Chips are very salty and seasoned. I had the enchiladas Rojas which had a sweet & tangy sauce to it, with a kick on corn tortillas (3). Overall, all the flavors tasted quite high in sodium. I was happy to use my leftover side of guacamole to help balance the spicy, salty flavors. Rice & beans are not very flavorful. I would suggest the birria, having experienced tasting that at a Yelp event and enjoying the flavors of that."
