The room we were seated in did get quite loud with a large party seated next to us so plan accordingly. Everyone enjoyed their bloodies and our server was friendly. I opted for an NA Bloody Mary and lived that it came with a root beer chaser. Our server was friendly and gave us stickers and cookies upon leaving which was a nice touch!"

The service is great and attentive without being overly annoying. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are so inviting and vast.We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip accompanied with flatbread. The dip was so creamy and the hint of parmesan on top just did it. The flatbread could have been an appetizer on its own. We also ordered some onion rings which were crispy and tasty. For dinner, we ordered a personal spinach pizza for my daughter which she absolutely loved. I had the bourbon chicken flatbread and chicken sandwich which were both excellent."

That peppadew peppers and sausage pizza topped with hot honey was hot of this world incredible and I love the ability to pick your own fresh toppings and know the quality will be there. It might take some time for pizza to be made or waiting for a table at times but it is worth it for the price too! Great value and service and nice bar restaurant feel with sports games on. We always end up at The Courthouse Pub. Love to sit outside and get a bite to eat & a beverage. I look forward to the summer beer Patio Pounder...(I believe it's a Czech Pilsner with Raspberry Lemoncello. It's quite refreshing; especially on a hot humid day like today! Our server, Kayla was awesome. Very patient with the 5 of us! I decided to try the Fish Tacos & French Fries. So good & tasty! I look forward to visiting The Courthouse every summer! Adam S. "I really wanted to go here because I saw some photos and thought it was like some of other Hofbrau locations throughout the US, but I was quickly corrected that they are not a "franchise", so I was even more excited to try out and independently run beef hall that serves the fantastic Hofbrau beers! The menu is a little limited, and we were just in for drinks, but the chicken schnitzel looked amazing and one of the staff behind the bar made some cheese curds that, in his words, would ruin cheese curds forever... Next time, we'll have to order food. The beers were all amazing! You can get a .2 liter, half liter or liter and the half/full liters are served in branded Hofbrau mugs.I had the original, dopplebock, marzen, dunkle and dunkleweizen. I'm very familiar with all of these beers, but it certainly is a different experience to have them fresh on draught. The bar staff were all amazing and held up a decent conversation with the entire bar, so it was a really fun time! The space itself is pretty amazing... very much "old world"... The area down from the bar has communal seating and looks like it could hold a good crown for some German singalongs, but I don't know if they do that...An awesome place for sure if you enjoy real German beer!"

The food is above average for a rural suburb but expected, it's a straight shot from Milwaukee. The staff are on the sharp side of cheddar. And it did take some time to get our food with one of our guests not receiving his food when all of ours came out. It was not too busy but I think as everyone says the service is about 3 star. The location and ambiance is good, not like State St. But the large portions and options are there. Fried cheese curds were ok. The potato pan cakes were cold not even warm and tasted as if they were boiled instead of fried. The fish was mediocre at best but only warm not hot. The coleslaw was ok but it was room temperature not cold...go figure! The poor man's lobster was again only warm and tasteless. With COVID, they've gotten very strict which is great but the bouncers take their jobs a bit too seriously - to the point of not letting us borrow unused chairs from other tables. They could also staff the bar a bit better, it took awhile to get a drink when it was busy. COVID Precautions: All staff are wearing masks and guests are required to when they aren't eating/drinking. So you wouldn't expect the food to be amazing. However everyone in my group was happy with their choices. I know that a Sante Fe salad isn't exactly Irish, but it was still made very well! The chicken was moist and tender, the cheese was awesome (hello Wisconsin), and all of the greens were fresh. My buddies got the bangers and mash and the stew. Honestly, what looked the best and what we all loved the most was the Poutine! Even better, it's a great shareable. It had thick cut fries, amazing cheese curds, gravy, and pastrami. Despite crummy weather the place was still pretty packed and the crowd was pretty welcoming. The mechanical bull is obviously a main attraction here which was on my bucket list. I will say, a lot harder than I expected. $5 buys you 2 tries (most people averaged about 30 seconds) which I thought was a bit pricey... but worth it for the videos and memories we got out of it.Didn't get a chance to try any food, but the drinks were definitely on the weak side. We tried a few appetizers:-Cheese curds, comes with ranch: the ranch is good! It didn't taste like it came from a bottle. The curds are interesting. They look like deep fried tofu cubes, and although they tasted good, I found most of it was breading. At first I thought it was a mix of white and yellow cheddar but the white was undercooked batter. I probably wouldn't order them again.-Fried Green Beans, comes with ranch: These were very good! The batter has a slight kick but not overly spicy. I recommend them and would order again.-Salsa and Chips: I only tried the chips which were good and tasted freshly made. A small portion of salsa is included. They have a good menu so I'll be back to try the fish fry and other items. Our server was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Overall, a nice place to grab some food or drinks!"
