"In New Glarus on a Thursday, we decided to check out Tofflers for dinner for 2 reasons... 1. Their menu looked really good and 2. They had Amazon Prime and it was Thursday Night Football. Upon arriving, we were greeted immediately and got a high top table on the bar side so we could see the TV. We asked them if they could put the football game on and that was immediately done for us! It was quite busy during our time there but the server was very attentive and friendly! We tried the friend pickles and cheese curds, which were delicious! We mainly drank Busch Light cans but I was delighted, being in Wisconsin for the night, to see a Grasshopper on the menu so I got that and it was so yummy! My husband tried a peanut butter Old Fashioned. For our entrees, my husband ordered the Knuckle Sandwich, which was beef cheeks, something he hadn't tried before. I ordered the French Dip. We had all plans to eat at the restaurant but as it was getting busier there was a group of 4 who were clearly just standing around until a table came open. They must have noticed that we had a 4 top even though there were only 2 of us and thought they could take it upon themselves (one lady) to set her wine glass on our table and lean on our table, which made it shake constantly. We were hoping it was only temporary and they'd find a table but it just went on and on. Instead of getting into to any sort of argument, we simply asked our server if we could get our food to go, which she happily obliged. Sad to have our fun time there end on a rather annoying note but we would probably try to go back there if we are ever staying in New Glarus again."

"I couldn't decide between a 3 or a 4 star rating here. Truthfully, have this trouble sometimes. Ya know, food is important. Delicious food is important. Most of the bites that I had here were very good. There is something about this restaurant that gives me a good feeling, that it's a hidden gem. You should try their food too! I bet you'll be glad that you did. I ordered delivery through a restaurant delivery service. I can't speak much to the customer service of the restaurant but I will say that they did have any issues or mistakes with my order. Now honey, let's talk about the food. It's Wisconsin and you know how we love our fish frys. I mean, are you really from Wisconsin if you don't eat a fish fry on Fridays? You're pushing it, just a bit. This fish fry was really well done. Tasty, fish was cooked Welland not greasy. The batter and coating had great flavor and a nice crunch. And the potato pancakes and applesauce were really good too, I think that they were homemade. Rye bread was fresh and a nice addition to the meal. I got an order of their famous housemade potato chips which I really enjoyed. The soft pretzel was fine and the cheese that comes with it was a bit disappointing, cheap, processed and slightly spicy. It felt like belonged with nachos rather than a soft pretzel. I'm excited to try more dishes here! I hope that you will too!"

"I have been here twice. I was told by someone to try the lobster grilled cheese. It is probably 5000 calories and worth everyone of them. The second time I did not even look at the menu and just ordered it again. First rime I was with my husband and second time was with a group of 6. Everyone enjoyed their food. They have eggplant fries as a side option and they are really food. Not soggy or greasy. You wait a bit for your food but the service is good so you will always have a drink in front of you. It does get quite noisy even on a weekday but it is a bar so not a shock. It is not huge and I guess the fish fry is really good. I am sure it gets packed on Fridays."

"Headed north to Green Bay, searching for a place to have lunch, and was pleased to find Jug's on my way. Not only is the building rustic and historic, but the people are friendly and the food is excellent.There was a small wait, maybe 5 minutes, and I was seated. A waitress came around promptly when I was done reviewing my options. She was great, and her engagement felt like honest genuine hospitality, not transactional - which is how I feel most engagement is in customer service these days.I decided to shy away from the burgers but wanted to choose something flagged as one of the most popular items, the McJuggers Reuben. It had generous portions of corned beef and loaded with flavor. The taste was amazing. On the side, I opted for the waffle fries, which I'm typically unimpressed with in most locations, but here they were cooked perfectly, and we're crisp. Will definitely swing by if I'm ever in the area again."

"Met some friends for Bloody Mary's on a Saturday morning around 10:30AM. We were quickly seated without a reservation, but make sure to get there early, the place was full by 11AM! The room we were seated in did get quite loud with a large party seated next to us so plan accordingly. Everyone enjoyed their bloodies and our server was friendly. I opted for an NA Bloody Mary and lived that it came with a root beer chaser. Our server was friendly and gave us stickers and cookies upon leaving which was a nice touch!"

No farming though. Two of a kind gets you a free drink, and full house gets you half the pot which was at $1,200 today."

I wasn't not mad, however, because the bartender drove all the way out to West Allis to track my card down, he paid me the amount that that other Joe had accidentally charged to my card, and he made te situation right in addition to being overly apologetic.That level of customer service is unparalleled and should be recognized if not lauded. You can judge an establishment by how it reacts under pressure, and everything went right last night.I'm going back, that's for certain."

The bartender took care of us and was efficient. Only taking a star off because the women's restroom was not in great order. Toliet paper on the ground and rolls of toilet paper tucked in stalls because the dispensers were empty. Overall a neat space with lots of room."

"First time at Neighborhood Draft. A group of my friends went on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Luckily we were greeted and seated right away. Its not a very large place - about 10ish tables + bar seating. Lots of TVs to watch sports.I love a good bar with a good tap list and they had just that. They have a good variety of 21 beers on tap - most of them local!I was actually surprised at their reasonable prices for their food.We split the fried pickles which were fried pickle chips and were hands down the best fried pickles I've ever had. Very lightly breaded and served with ranch.The grilled wings are where it's at though. You get 10 wings with 1 sauce per order - they have about 10 sauces to choose from. And the wings are huge! I had the carolina sauce which had a great flavor and wasn't overly saucy. Comes served with carrots, ranch, and a mustard sauce.Everyone else with me had great things to say about their food from the brisket grilled cheese to the French onion soup and the fried chicken.Our server was very attentive and checked on our table several times.We heard there's a garden patio in the back so can't wait to come back and check this place out in the summer! Highly recommend!"

"We stumbled upon this place randomly one night after dinner. I believe the basketball playoffs were on so it was busy. Only had one drink and left.We decided to come back mid afternoon on a Sunday. There were a few tables wrapping up but the bar was pretty full. Service was a little iffy at first (seems like a place that definitely has regulars) but once the bartenders spotted us the service was great. The beer is really cold and the drinks are strong. We ordered the suggested house burger w sweet potato fries and some wings. The wings had a lot of breading on them but meaty. The fries were good and the burger was awesome! I ended up having to eat it with a fork bc it completely fell apart. The bun is on the sweeter side (not sure exactly what kind it was) but it just couldn't contain all the delicious toppings. We will absolutely be back. Looking forward to football season here - they have a TON of TVs and Sunday ticket. Score!!"

I will say, a lot harder than I expected. $5 buys you 2 tries (most people averaged about 30 seconds) which I thought was a bit pricey... but worth it for the videos and memories we got out of it.Didn't get a chance to try any food, but the drinks were definitely on the weak side. Cleanliness was a little subpar as well, but again - we got what we expected out of the visit."

"West Allis has its share of bars. However, Barcode stands out as one of the nicest establishments in the city. My husband and I recently stopped in here to meet some friends and were impressed with not only how clean the place was, but also with the service that we received. The bartender was very nice and made sure that our drinks were filled. We were very pleased with the selection of beer and liquor that was available (they have Monaco cocktails, which are a favorite of ours). And we were also pleased with how reasonably priced the drinks were. If you need some food to help absorb your adult beverages while you're here, you can order some pizza. We did not have the pizza while here, but we were told it was good. We will definitely check it out on our next visit."

While they may not be the kind of bar that I would choose to patronize, my experience at Scooter's was made positive due to the staff's kindness and attention. While I oftentimes can be picky about the restaurants and bars I frequent, it doesn't mean that I'm always right. There's a danger in thinking yourself and your tastes infallible, and while I still don't like Scooter's or Water Street as a general rule of thumb, it doesn't mean I can't appreciate the good things about those places that I may not like. "Decided to venture out to Depere and after many recommendations I caved and tried this place. It's a bar and grill setting with indoor seating. I sat outside ready to get scorched by the sun and bitten by the mosquitoes. Upon my arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find that the outdoor seating is shaded by big beautiful trees and not a single mosquito in sight!!!It's a perfect setting to sit and sip a bevvy and enjoy some friendly company.Not only is the outdoor patio gorgeous but they have daily drink specials and happy hour, wow! I tried the chicken garlic parm wings and they were so tasty! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly crisp.I'm new in town so I HAD to get the cheese curds. This meal did not disappoint!! However everyone in my group was happy with their choices. I know that a Sante Fe salad isn't exactly Irish, but it was still made very well! The chicken was moist and tender, the cheese was awesome (hello Wisconsin), and all of the greens were fresh.My buddies got the bangers and mash and the stew. Honestly, what looked the best and what we all loved the most was the Poutine! Even better, it's a great shareable. It had thick cut fries, amazing cheese curds, gravy, and pastrami. It was gone in an instant!
