The food was good, the service was fast and friendly, the decor was nice, and best of all they had one of my favorite N.A. beers on the menu. Not a lot of places carry it so it was an added bonus. Definitely recommend this place!"

"While in town, my sisters and I stopped in for an impromptu dinner around 5:30. It was a Saturday night during Restaurant Week so it was busy. The hostess said there was a 2 hour wait. We were creating a plan B and decided to sit at a table in the bar and it was perfect! The bar was bustling and it was great for people watching. The big table next to us looked like they were having a great time too. Our bartender/server Jamie was fantastic!! She was so friendly, helpful and attentive, even though she was quite busy. She really made our visit even better. Our cocktails were expertly created. Dinners come with soup AND salad. We ordered pizza, chicken parmesan and the pasta sampler. Such a cool idea to try several pastas in one order. Everything was so tasty. We were way too full for dessert. The bar atmosphere and service are my favorite. I prefer to dine there now. It feels old school and comfortable. I love feeling the history behind a restaurant, knowing the dedication it took to make this a Kenosha staple."

"We went to Tauro Cocina for the first time to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday. Since I hadn't dined there before, I wasn't sure to expect since the only thing I knew was that it served Mexican-Italian food--but now it's definitely one of my favorite places in Milwaukee! We made a reservation for 8pm on a Thursday evening, but you really wouldn't have needed one as it wasn't busy. Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive and gave specific and honest recommendations, which we appreciated. "IVR BAR is a fresh take on ethnic fusion and cocktails. Previously home to the point burger bar, this revamped location is a great new beginning for the spot. They are very well staffed with a pleasant crew. I came in for a late lunch and had boneless wings with Buffalo maharaja sauce. The chicken was done well and I enjoyed the subtle hint of Indian undertones. The provided ranch sauce was also very good and I think made in house! The bar as well appointed with whiskey, wine, and tequila along with some pretty general beers . This certainly would not be considered a beer bar, but more of a cocktail and spirits kind of deal. I am excited to see someone making great use of the space and look forward to returning to try many more things on the fun menu ."

We're very thankful for Luigi's in their accommodation to our dietary restrictions, dairy in our case. How tragic to live in Wisconsin and have a dairy issue. Their pizza, minus the cheese, is still very good. Mojos are always added to our order. I think the only thing missing is a solid vegetable dish to go with all those carbs. The salad can only go so far!"

"Stopped by here early on a Saturday after hearing about their margaritas. My wife and I both ordered the Crossover margarita. Overall the flavor was decent however could have used more cranberry flavor to help distract from the lower cost tequila flavor.We were both impressed with the chips and salsa provided. The salsa was very fresh tasting and was not spicy at all for those susceptible. Loved that they include chopped cilantro in their salsa!We both ordered the 3 taco dinner with barbacoa, pastor and cod tacos. The barbacoa and cod tacos left a lot to be desired. The flavor was very bland and a bit disappointing especially since the barbacoa taco was an additional $6. The pastor taco was by far the best tasting however the pork seemed a bit fatty. The rice and beans that complimented the meal were both pretty good however the rice seemed very old or overcooked. Ingredients used were very fresh. Unfortunately the service was not the greatest. We sat outside due to nice weather. Our waitress stopped by a few times to ask how we were doing and overall was friendly. We had anticipated ordering more drinks and possibly desserts however, the waitress brought us our bill without even asking if we wanted any more drinks or desserts. After she brought the check she didn't ask us if we needed anything else. Could have made more money and a bigger tip had we been asked if we wanted more. We ended up leaving early and going to a different bar for more drinks. Ambiance was nice with plenty of seating inside and outside. My only complaint for outdoor seating is for the restaurant to always have the umbrellas at the tables vs stating "if you need an umbrella just ask your server." Overall disappointed with Crossover after we had heard decent reviews from friends. Better, more authentic Mexican restaurants are available in the area."

It was the first place the employees at Minhas suggested, so we strolled the single block down 12th and took a seat at the bar.Suisse Haus, much like many of the businesses in the area, looks like an adorable Swiss ski chalet. Inside, it's not as fancy. There's a huge bar when you enter and the back wall is covered with booze bottles and candies for sale. The rest of the dining areas appeared to have moveable tables and were decorated with beer signage. The patio area, however, looks as though it would be extremely welcoming when the weather is nicer.My friend and I both ordered the Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich. She went with a side of Fries and I got the Fried Cheese Curds. Everything is a la carte. Neither side really did it for me. I'd skip adding them on next time or maybe just go for a half order of the Fries. The Corned Beef, on the other hand, great! That recommendation did not disappoint.I rounded up slightly on the tip, so it came to $20 for the Reuben, Curds, and a bottle of Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider. You can easily get away with spending even less if you take advantage of their draught selection."

"Great fish fry! I've been going to Ricardo's for the last 26 years & always love the hospitality & great food. This review is for the breaded Perch ($18) & the breaded Cod ($15) dinners to go. When I got home I opened up the containers and was happy to see that there is plenty of fish and fries to go with each dinner. I read reviews of other restaurants and complaints to how the fish is usually small like fish sticks. That's not the case with Ricardo's. The fish is very well portioned & worth the money. On a side note, the pizza here is amazing & hasn't changed in the last 26 years I've been enjoying it. I recommend the Hawaiian pizza. Cheers to Ricardo's!"

We're an Italian family from Chicago so it's safe to say that we know our pizza. They are located on Oakton Ave. but they offer parking in their lot outback. Easy in and easy out. The venue is not huge or fancy but they had about 6 good size tables if you decide to stay and eat. We ordered a thin crust sausage pizza with olives, peppers and onions. We were NOT disappointed. This was some really good pizza. They don't skimp out on the cheese. The ingredients to pizza dough ratio was spot on. The services was good for this family owned pizza joint. We will definitely stop in when we are in town again. We vouch for them."

Their sausage is just the right spice. I love Tony Maronni's and they are family and local. They are not a chain. They are much better and family recipe. The son works at the chef too.
