"The friendliest server! Stopped in for an early breakfast with the kids before the workday. Lots of regulars. Menu was big enough, everyone found breakfast dishes to their liking. Would definitely make Judi's a weekend staple if we lived locally."
"You know that bar in Boston where everybody knows your name? Well there's one in St. Nazianz, WI too! Besides the church, this place has been the cultural center to this tiny town for decades. The new owner (Meat) has shined it up a bit and fixed up the old dance hall to host all types of events, from family reunions to All-Star Wrestling (really more like no star!). You can expect good food and friendly service every time you come. Wednesday and Saturday nights are steak night, Friday night Fish Frys and Weekend Family Style Breakfasts. All are great and inexpensive! Great burgers and soup available every night. Good old fashions too!"

"Came here for a birthday dinner and it was so lovely! It had just rained and we asked to be seated outside. The patio was so nice to look at and it was so nice to sit outside. Chairs aren't the most comfortable, but it's not a big deal. It would be nice if there was a coat rack outside where we could hang our purse or coats; we had to put our bags on the floor. On to the food; I opted to get the Korean chicken. This was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed everything about this dish. My friend got the steak and this too was cooked perfectly. We ordered the tostadas for an appetizer. And well, they were good, but I'd honestly skip it. I've had better tostadas. It was so great to finally try Tess after having it book marked for years! It was a nice dining experience! Also, the butterscotch pudding dessert is so freakin delicious I wish I would have gotten some to go. The only con and biggest disappointment, is that they were out of the one dish that I wanted to try. But other than that, everything was awesome. Parking can be tricky, as it's street and in a residential area, but nothing that's a huge inconvenience."
"We've never had a bad meal here! Service is very friendly. Great drink specials. Beautiful views!"
"I visit Amalia's for breakfast on my yearly visit to Wisconsin and this year did not disappoint! I had a custom breakfast scramble that was delicious. Service was fantastic as usual and as tempting as all the amazing baked goods in the display case were, I was able to resist. Maybe next time. See you next July!"
"A bit tucked away, so much so that I almost drove past it twice! Very friendly staff. Immediately seated and a waiter/server stopped by soon to provided a menu. It looks very much like a local breakfast nook. The decor is very cozy and homey. Add some charm to the place and really made it feel local. I ordered a veggie omelette and coffee. Usually my go to in unfamiliar breakfast places as a vegetarian. The food was good but nothing surprising or unique. The menu was quite extensive. I'm sure there is something for everyone here. Quality local food for a good price. It's worth a stop if you are in the mood for breakfast food and local charm in New Berlin."
"I've been here twice in the last month. Both times I had a good meal and great service. This is a little locally owned bar/grill in New Milford. The interior atmosphere is more of a sports bar and grill than a restaurant. The dining area and bathrooms were clean ad well maintained both times I was there, once for lunch and once for dinner. Each time I went the food was good. One of the burgers I ordered was fantastically awesome, the Western Burger. I loved that one, great flavor. I was really impressed. The second time I had the Rodeo burger. Not as good, but I still enjoyed it. With my burger you had a choice of sides. Both times I ordered the Macaroni Salad. WOW, that is good macaroni salad. The waitress told me the first time I was there that it was a local favorite, I can see why! This is not a high end classy restaurant. This is not a fancy foodie place. This is your typical side of the road bar and grill. If you're not into that type of place, don't come here. If you like a nice relaxed atmosphere with decent food for a decent price. This is the place to go in New Milford. You can't go wrong with it."
"In New Glarus on a Thursday, we decided to check out Tofflers for dinner for 2 reasons... 1. Their menu looked really good and 2. They had Amazon Prime and it was Thursday Night Football. Upon arriving, we were greeted immediately and got a high top table on the bar side so we could see the TV. We asked them if they could put the football game on and that was immediately done for us! It was quite busy during our time there but the server was very attentive and friendly! We tried the friend pickles and cheese curds, which were delicious! We mainly drank Busch Light cans but I was delighted, being in Wisconsin for the night, to see a Grasshopper on the menu so I got that and it was so yummy! My husband tried a peanut butter Old Fashioned. For our entrees, my husband ordered the Knuckle Sandwich, which was beef cheeks, something he hadn't tried before. I ordered the French Dip. We had all plans to eat at the restaurant but as it was getting busier there was a group of 4 who were clearly just standing around until a table came open. They must have noticed that we had a 4 top even though there were only 2 of us and thought they could take it upon themselves (one lady) to set her wine glass on our table and lean on our table, which made it shake constantly. We were hoping it was only temporary and they'd find a table but it just went on and on. Instead of getting into to any sort of argument, we simply asked our server if we could get our food to go, which she happily obliged. Sad to have our fun time there end on a rather annoying note but we would probably try to go back there if we are ever staying in New Glarus again."
"Let me just start off this review by saying ALL DAY BREAKFAST! This place is a to-go spot if you are craving breakfast food at anytime. Although they close at 3pm, the restaurant offers a wide range of meals from breakfast foods, to brunch, to dinner/ lunch. The chocolate pancake and crepes are a must especially if you have a sweet tooth like me. The quesadillas are also very delicious and will fill you up quickly. The food offered is very reasonable for the price and I will definitely be coming next weekend for their crepes. The service was alright and our food came in a reasonable time. The people here are very welcoming. Service : 10/10 Food: 8/10"
"We arrived at SportClub after taking in the Third Ward Art Fair, and had a fabulous time. Service was top Not h, (thank you Thor), and it was a nice experience overall. This must be the place to meet up between Wedding events, because there were many guests from multiple weddings. Despite how busy SportClub was, we had the finest service! Thank You, SportClub fora memorable Labor Day!"
"On my last night in Madison, I wanted something local that was casual, but not as casual as just burgers and sandwiches. To that my buddy recommended Quivey's Grove - Stable Grill. Quivey's Grove is two restaurants in one with the main house being a full dining and semi-upscale experience. While the Stabke Grill is a casual, old school style steakhouse vibe with all wooden walls, floors, tables, seating along with dim lights and a slightly limited menu from across the sidewalk. It wasn't busy when we arrived, so we bellied up the bar and were immediately greeted by the bartender (Cory, I believe). He was excellent from start to finish! We ordered a few cocktails to get us started then settled on a couple of entrees including the schnitzel and meatloaf. The schnitzel was perfectly crispy, thin and the mushrooms and butter sauce on top set it off! The meatloaf was tasty, but not the best I've had. Was a bit firmer than I am used to and the red potatoes were like warm. Nothing that detracted from the dish as a whole, but definitely noticeable. During our meals we were talking sports and the bartender switched the tv for us so we could finish the Yankees game. Very cool of him! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves at Quivey's. Not sure I would rush back during my next visit to Madison, but I wouldn't run away either."
"This review is specifically about The Loon Room in the downstairs speakeasy style bar in Third Coast. I would give it a 3.5 honestly. The vibe was cool. It had red lights, hightop seating, and a cozy space. We were there around 8:30ish on a Friday night and quickly found an open table. A waitress quickly came to take care of us. We're doing dry January, and they had 2 options. The Bees Have No Knees was ok, but the N/A Bird Shirt was very good. I would go back for drinks again.I wouldn't recommend this place if you have allergies. Asking the kitchen came across as a hassle. I tried the fishsticks, and I was disappointed. The remoulade was very good, but the actual fish stick was super dry and had no flavor at all. Our friends had the shrimp and said it was really good. They said the fondue with pretzel bites was okay.Overall, it's a pretty cool place, and I'd use it as a jumping off point and perhaps just do dinner upstairs."

What a wonderful little find! Super friendly is the first thing that impressed me. The food came out incredibly fast and hot. A great place to have a quiet breakfast.

Okay. I stopped in for dinner last night. HOLY MOLY. Ordered 1/4 a broasted chicken. It came with a choice of potato (I picked fries), veggie (I picked corn) and bread. It was a lot of food. The chicken was lightly breaded and not at all greasy. It was the best I have had in a really long time. I know I mentioned you need to stop for breakfast but try dinner too!

Our lasts visit, contrary to almost all other visits, both diners ordered fare that did not have the tomato based dishes that we thought was a little overwhelming upon our last visit. WOW we were blown away with the great flavor, temperature, etc. I will continue supporting Tess as often as I can.

You know that it will be a delicious Friday Fish Fry when the place is packed and you have to wait 40 minutes for your to go order to be ready. Ordered a five piece of mixed baked and fried cod which came with cole slaw, a slice of rye bread and a choice of hush puppies, fries or potato pancakes with apple sauce. The fish was so fresh hot and delicious. The potato pancakes were like latkes. So yummy topped with applesauce. Added a basket of huge onions rings and the classic Wisconsin fried cheese curds with a side of ranch for dipping. Don't forget to ask for tartar sauce. No outdoor seating, but grabbed a picnic table at the park across the street overlooking the lake to watch the sunset from our lake view table. Note: no one was wearing a mask including the bar staff and servers. There is an all you can eat fish fry option, but that is for dine in only. The five piece was perfect to share for two and a deal at $13.

I went with a group today. They were kind enough to do separate checks. Hurrah!! The waitress was efficient. I ordered a Wild West burrito. When it arrived I asked for salsa. She brought a a small container and said there would be an upcharge of 75 cents. I said no thank you. Can you imagine serving a burrito with no salsa? Neither can I. I ate half of it there ( it wasn't bad) and took the rest home for lunch. With my own salsa.

Okay drink prices. They have pretty good food specials every day. Went for the Friday fish fry and it was pretty good. Got salad bar, choice of ayce fried shrimp or cod, and choice of potato. I got the cod and my boyfriend got the shrimp. We both thought it was pretty good. Nice place to get some greasy bar food and a drink. They do have a problem with the waitresses, though. Everything seems to take forever. There is always a long wait for food, which isnt the waitresses fault but its still annoying. I dont think they have an good waitresses. Some are okay and some are really terrible. One time we waited 10 minutes after getting our food, to get the tarter sauce and cocktail sauce. The food is good but I wish the service would get better. They have volleyball in the summer and karaoke some nights. I hope they've gotten another mic since the last time I went there. I don't sing alone and its not fun to share your mic.

Why haven't I eaten here before now??? I read some Yelp reviews and people like their food, so we checked out Tofflers for lunch on a busy New Glarus Saturday. We elected to dine in the huge outdoor area....and I mean huge, with various levels and many tables that had sun umbrellas. Awesome. Our server was super personable and attentive. Our food didn't take long, and all three of us were very impressed with our lunches. Be sure to order their house-made potato chips served warm. They are outstanding!

"This has become our Friday Fish fry place. I always have the Fried Northern Pike which is always cooked to perfection. The pieces are huge and cooked to crispy golden perfection. My honey loves their baked cod which is cooked perfectly. It's a large inch thick piece of flaky yumminess with rendered butter. You get salad or soup and another side and yummy coleslaw. I usually get fries or a baked. This restaurant is huge and is usually loaded when we arrive around 530 or 6. The servers are friendly. It's a locals kind of place and I always leave full and happy. Highly recommend. The price is right."
"We had an amazing dinner at Fox & Crow. The appetizers and entrees were outstanding. We started with chorizo stuffed dates -- AMAZING! My Risotto was velvety and rich. My husband truly enjoyed the Schnitzel. Crème Brûlée is always my favorite. If we lived closer this would be our usual spot."
"Looking for a Friday Fish Fry in Delevan. I asked around some locals and they told me the BEST fish fry was at Greenie's. They weren't wrong. I had checked menus at a few other spots - Greenie's was definitely more bang for your buck. I had fried cod and my wife had baked cod. Both were excellent, hot and fresh. We had leftovers to take back t our hotel. Lori was a fantastic waitress and the support staff were quick to help with anything needed. The side offerings were wide ranging: Baked potato, fries, tots, onion rings, potato pancakes w/apple sauce was my choice and very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future. P.S. This place is both Gray-hair approved as well as families with small kids."
"We stopped in for lunch just after they opened so we were the first customers of the day. This is normally a red flag for me but the bartender/server (Nicole) was so friendly and welcoming we stayed. Most of the tables are high tops, but she directed us to the lone low top in the back. This made my 82 year old mother very happy. The lunch special was sliders for $2 each. They had four: BLT, pulled pork, brisket and cheeseburger. My mom chose twi cheese burgers and with fries was more than enough. I had the pulled pork and brisket with fries. Both were good, although the brisket was oversauced. The fries were incredible! They do a light beer batter on them and they are so crunchy and flavorful. It looks like a fun place at night and it's right on the lake for the summer."
"My husband and I came for date night and had an overall great experience. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I appreciated that she gave her honest opinion (don't worry, it was still positive) when I was debating between two menu items. They also had just tapped their new draft cocktail, a French 75, which was delicious. For dinner I had the salmon and my husband had the pork shank. We also tried the oysters for an appetizer. I have always said I hate oysters until I tried these. Delicious! Both my husband and I agreed we would come back for exactly what we ordered again. There is a lot of hype with some other restaurants on Monroe Street, and from our perspective Kettle Black is underrated. Forget the trendy influencer restaurants in that neck of the woods and check out Kettle Black. You'll be glad you did!"
"My breakfast was exceptional. I enjoyed the Cookie Dough French Toast. The dish had a lovely balance of warm notes with a touch of sweet. The French toast was perfectly soft with a slight crisp to the outside, subtly savory, spiced, and sweet cookie butter mousse, topped with crisp chocolate cookie crumbles and coco nibs. A delightful creamy and delicate condensed milk drizzle was the base of this beautiful dish. This reminded me of a European type dessert that has the perfect touch of sweetness without over doing it. Well done!"
"The food is excellent!! The servers are all friendly and kind, very helpful with the menu!! Atmosphere is warm and cozy!! Great to go as a couple or meeting friends to enjoy a night out!! I highly recommend going for lunch, dinner! Friday is fish fry, all day and evening, and is very tasty!!"
"First time at Neighborhood Draft. A group of my friends went on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Luckily we were greeted and seated right away. Its not a very large place - about 10ish tables + bar seating. Lots of TVs to watch sports.I love a good bar with a good tap list and they had just that. They have a good variety of 21 beers on tap - most of them local!I was actually surprised at their reasonable prices for their food.We split the fried pickles which were fried pickle chips and were hands down the best fried pickles I've ever had. Very lightly breaded and served with ranch. The grilled wings are where it's at though. You get 10 wings with 1 sauce per order - they have about 10 sauces to choose from. And the wings are huge! I had the carolina sauce which had a great flavor and wasn't overly saucy. Comes served with carrots, ranch, and a mustard sauce.Everyone else with me had great things to say about their food from the brisket grilled cheese to the French onion soup and the fried chicken. Our server was very attentive and checked on our table several times. We heard there's a garden patio in the back so can't wait to come back and check this place out in the summer! Highly recommend!"
"A little bit of grading on a curve by rounding up but it is deserved. We stopped in for a quick bite on the way to Miller Park. The initial attraction was that Rounding Third is close and their shuttle to the ballpark. Surprise for a funky neighborhood bar the pizza was very respectable and the service was very friendly. Bottom line a decent pizza, beers and a round trip from the ballpark for just a few shekels more then parking alone at the park."
"Had asked around for a great burger. Someone suggested here because they make the patties in house, ground fresh, daily. I was sold. This burger is a destination burger. Every bite was full of juice, flavor, goodness. A perfectly seasoned patty, grilled to a spot on medium rare. Sitting on a buttered and toasted bun that held up to the juices the entire burger. Bacon that had some pull and some crunch to it giving you a salty kick each bite. There just isn't a better burger in the area that I've had in 30+ years of looking for great burgers. The cheese curds are from a local cheese plant with a made in house daily batter that comes out to you with pull on the curds as you bite with the thinnest curd batter I've ever experienced while living in WI. I can't recommend this spot enough."
"Palomino is an unassuming pub in bay view, steps from lake Michigan's south shore. I love this neighborhood and Palomino adds flavor to the already beloved area. The interior is what I call just right- not too big, not too small, not too fancy, not too divey. You could come here for a date night or a quick bite before or after a show at the Cactus Club (the night we came, Jack White was playing there). I regret not getting pictures of all the concert posters on the wall, but they were really cool. My husband was especially excited because two of his favorite bands made appearances (the smoking popes and old 97's). When you come here, you have to try the fried chicken sandwich and I personally always have to get a piece of pie (we found out on this visit that Palomino is owned by the same owners as Honey pie and if you know, you know, honey pie pie is amazing). Oh, and I am obsessed with the fried pickles! Always a must. Also, I miss last visit. We learned that they have a rotating poutine menu. The one we had had buffalo chicken and blue cheese in it. It was a lot going on, but it was delicious. I am ALWAYS going to order poutine if I see it on the menu. They managed to find just the right amount of hipster vibes so that you don't feel like you weren't cool enough to fit in and you feel welcome, but you feel kind of hip by association being here (feeling like a boomer as I say this hope I get the point across) In short, thanks for being cool and always having great food and drinks! Don't ever change!"
"While in Green Bay for a Packer game, we spent the night in Appleton. Stopped at the Little Diner and. Couldn't have been more thrilled with the choice. Extensive menu for a little diner! Fluffy pancakes, incredible omelette, and a really great team!"
"This restaurant was highly recommended by my friends and family in Milwaukee; and it did not disappoint. It is a farm to table restaurant and everything is grown fresh on their farm or from local sources. The menu is spectacular: everything from soups and salads to fish, chicken, veal and even ethnic dishes like tacos, stir-fry, and jambalaya. It's also unique that the food items are separated by price point. I went for lunch on a Tuesday with four family members. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter was Joe and he was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. My aunt had mentioned that we needed to get the creamed corn as an appetizer because they were famous for it. We ordered two servings and they came out quickly. Boy were they delicious! I would never think of getting creamed corn as an appetizer, but it truly was out of this world with fresh corn and bits of bacon and peppers in a creamy sauce! We also had the arancini for an appetizer and it was good. For my meal I had a wedge salad and a cup of lentil soup. The salad was huge and super fresh! It also had cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, and bits of bacon with a thousand island style dressing, very yummy! The soup was a huge portion, more like a bowl, with huge chunks of ham and cilantro. It was just ok. My husband had the short rib tacos and he said the filling was really good, but the tortillas didn't hold together very well. My cousins had the jambalaya and stir fry with shrimp. They said they were really good as well. My aunt had the meatloaf, (she gets it all the time,) and she stated that it was really delicious because they make their meatloaf with steak. All the portions were huge, and we had to ask for several to-go boxes. In addition to the excellent food, the restaurant is really beautiful inside. We visited a few days before Thanksgiving and the entire dining room was decorated with Christmas trees. I was very impressed with Parkside 23 and would definite recommend dining here if you get the opportunity."
"I hate that The sweet and Salty Pig is in FDL.But if they were any closer i'd go broke cause i'd eat there every meal.Seriously. Ridiculously good! Cannot recommend high enough!JUST GO!"
"Very good prim rib! Sorry it's only on Saturday! Was not crazy about the salad felt like I was eating weeds. Think we might go back on a Saturday and I will NOT be getting a salad LOL"
"Best date night every time servers are always up beat food good and thier is a selection and it great late night bar or day time family place all for same dollar amount I spend at Culver's."
"This place was cool! I came on a weekend afternoon, and it wasn't too crowded. They have a lunch menu with several courses that I ordered, and everything I had was delicious. Service was great, and I'll likely be back at some point."
"This bar is inside the American Club by the Immigrant Room. This is a good place to have cocktail before your dinner reservations in the Immigrant room or a nightcap after your meal. The room was cozy with soft light. They had an impressive set-up of wine and liquor. The drinks were pricey and the bartenders were attentive."
"Grabbed a crumb pie here (Lake Shore berry I believe was the name) and it was AMAZING. I am not a huge traditional fruit pie fan, but I ate half the pie myself in 2 days."
"They have the best staff! Scotty their bartender is incredible! Charlie their waitress saves their cooks behinds! My grilled haddock was served extremely dry, no green beans they ran out, no clam chowder they ran out, apple sauce for the potato pancakes they ran out... my friend asked for a tenderloin he wanted it rare it was served medium... the meals less than mediocre but the service was top notch! Did not see the owner tonight, maybe made a difference maybe not."
"Love the bakery!! The drinks are great too! Prices are very reasonable & the service is excellent!"
"Good here is awesome, love their food, truffle fries are great, seating is limited and can be a challenge during busy times so get slightly off hours and it's fine"
"Although we are just traveling through today stumbling across this hidden gem was so lucky! To say our meal was exceptional would be an understatement. The Ballering serves upscale American food that is approachable and delicious. We enjoyed the baked Brie with berry coulis and fruit and salads and followed that with the Duck Confit and the Ribeye steak. The cheesecake was also fresh and creamy. My favorite was, surprisingly the vegetable medley served with the entrees. If I lived close I'd run by and get a large side of veg for a quick lunch. So good. The service, Sarah was our waitress, was so friendly and I really appreciated her suggestions for places to visit nearby. Don't miss this place if you are in the area!"
