"This was a very large and clean restaurant. I loved how cozy it was with lots of booths and a fireplace. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly and the food was prepared very quick!I ordered the carne asada, and it was way better than the traditional tacos I pictured in my head. The meat and onions were grilled perfectly, I really enjoy good sautéed onions. The star of the show was the corn tortillas, so much flavor and I never had a tortilla like this before. It was served as a cheese quesadilla, and that would have made me happy with just that."
"Cudahy has some great Mexican restaurants, each slightly different enough from the others to warrant visiting them all. Living nearby, I've visited Mexic many times, and a recent visit was great. I prefer not to sit in the front room, as it can be drafty with the door there - booths in the mid room or tables in the back, seating is plenty. I had the Steak a la Mexicana and it was like fancy Fajitas (although they also have fajitas on the menu!). The steak was cooked to order! The Mexican rice is served in a cute pyramid, service was good, I've not had a bad dish here. Mexic103 has been featured for their program to pay it forward into a fund that allows someone to eat for free, a great idea. Level up! "Those tamarindo margaritas hit the spot after a long drive. The tacos were great and those salsas were SPICY! But so good. Our server was the nicest lady. Good food, good service at very decent prices."
"Service was quick, nice, friendly, informative. Orders were in and food out fast.Lots of colors inside and on plates. Happy vibes. Family oriented.Food was delicious, good portion sizes for good prices. Several sauces ranging from mild to spicy. Loved the red sauce but honestly all 3 tasted great on food chips and salsa were free to start. Margarita was delicious. No complaints, happy we tried it.Will be back, happy eating!"
"Drive past this place all the time, been meaning to try it out; so glad I stopped in for lunch today. Ordered the three taco meal (went with asada beef)--meal comes w rice and beans--and a small guacamole and chips. Stopping was legit the best decision I've made all day! First, the steak was juicy and flavorful and these tacos were, hands down, the most flavorful and delicious steak tacos I've had since I moved to Illinois! And these are not skimpy tacos!--I could barely close them because they tacos were stuffed w so much steak, pico de gallo, cheese, lettuce, and cilantro. Oh my gosh, my mouth is watering while I think about those tacos!!Small guacamole and chips were tasty, chips needed a little salt, but otherwise everything was PERFECT! Also, I ordered from my car (since I had some time to kill), and let the girl who took my order know, she offered to take my card over the phone and do curbside pickup, which I really appreciated. I am not joking when I say I had my hot and fresh taco within less than 10 minutes!! Try this place out!!! You won't be disappointed."
"Skip Taco Johns/Bell and go here where it's actually authentic AND you're supporting local business. Even the "American" tacos are totally Mexican. While the decor needs some work, the grocery area has a better selection than any other Mexican place in town. This is the real deal. Will definitely be back!Prices are totally reasonable and the quality/flavor are awesome."
"Middle of the road. Food was ok. Service was fast and the place is clean. I had Al Pastor and it not what I had at other place or what I expected."
"I really wish I could give 3.5 stars. The setup of this place is wildly inefficient, but it's hard to take off a full star because the food is delicious. All orders are taken at the counter and when I was there it was just one woman taking orders. The entire time I was there, the line was out the door. It moves slow because there are lots of options, most things can be customized with the meat, and the menu is hard to see unless you pull it up on your phone. Once you order you take your number back to your table, grab any drinks, and wait for your food to be brought out to you - it's a strange mix of table and counter service. Food comes out as it's ready. For a table of four my family's food came out 15 minutes before mine was done. I went over to the serving station to inquire and was greeted with a look of disdain. Apparently it's not polite to inquire when your family is nearly done and you haven't even received a thing. When you finish you have to take your number back up the counter, keep it mind it's still just one person, and checkout to finalize your bill. Supposedly, this is so you can keep a tab going, but it's not the type of environment that you'd stay all night. So now to the food. The chips that arrive when you sit down are quite nice - a light crunch and a little salt. Wasn't a huge fan of of the salsa. In the spirit of trying things, I had the three choice combo plate. The tostada was a little hard to break apart and eat, but the toppings piled on top made it worth it. The taquito had a perfectly crispy crunch on the outside and packed with meat on the inside. It probably could've used a little dipping sauce. The best item for me was the empanada - crunchy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. It also had toppings over the top to add a bit more dimension. As is, I recommend you order ahead or delivery if it's possible to avoid the chaotic service. Certainly the best mix of Latin American food you will get in the area."
"Great family owned pub with awesome views of Green Lake. Nicely decorated and clean. Good selection of alcohol. Delicious Bloody Mary with a chaser of course. Our group had Green Lake Nachos, Queso Curds and smoked wings. All were tasty and will bring us back."
"Scrolling through my Yelp visits and was somewhat surprised to find I hadn't previously done a review for Casa Tequila. They have a very nice bar area that in this time of Covid is generally not very busy. We've taken to visiting on many occasions for margaritas and the complimentary chips & salsa. I generally do the large blended strawberry margarita at $12 a pop. If you put down two of these bad boys you're definitely feeling it when you get up from your stool.A clean dining area with efficient service any time we've visited. Pretty standard Mexican faire. I've not had a bad experience here. On Friday night in true Wisconsin fashion they have an all you can eat fish fry. I've done this on more than one visit and for a Mexican joint they offer a pretty solid fish fry.All and all, Casa Tequila is a pretty solid downtown West Bend stop."
"No more complimentary basket of chips and salsa. Since when? It's the only Mexican restaurant I have been to without that little hit of dopamine dip.The service was good, as it was a slow night. And because it was slow it was actually a reasonable volume inside. Every time we've visited prior, it's been too loud to even have a conversation. The food itself was pretty basic. I had the pork enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. The refried beans were delicious. The rice was really good. The tomatillo sauce was do flavorful. The pork was bland as heck. I was honestly let down a bit by that because I enjoy a good pork enchilada. I don't think I'd order it again. Hopefully the chicken and steak are better options. I'm sure I may be back at some point, it's a decent sized restaurant with a ton of parking space right in the middle of Muskego. But with so many other options for Mexican food within a 10 mile radius, Tres Locos just doesn't make the top of my list of options. If you're a fan of American-Mexican cuisine then this may be the place for you, I just prefer a more authentic taste."
"Stopped by here early on a Saturday after hearing about their margaritas. My wife and I both ordered the Crossover margarita. Overall the flavor was decent however could have used more cranberry flavor to help distract from the lower cost tequila flavor. We were both impressed with the chips and salsa provided. The salsa was very fresh tasting and was not spicy at all for those susceptible. Loved that they include chopped cilantro in their salsa! We both ordered the 3 taco dinner with barbacoa, pastor and cod tacos. The barbacoa and cod tacos left a lot to be desired. The flavor was very bland and a bit disappointing especially since the barbacoa taco was an additional $6. The pastor taco was by far the best tasting however the pork seemed a bit fatty. The rice and beans that complimented the meal were both pretty good however the rice seemed very old or overcooked. Ingredients used were very fresh. Unfortunately the service was not the greatest. We sat outside due to nice weather. Our waitress stopped by a few times to ask how we were doing and overall was friendly. We had anticipated ordering more drinks and possibly desserts however, the waitress brought us our bill without even asking if we wanted any more drinks or desserts. After she brought the check she didn't ask us if we needed anything else. Could have made more money and a bigger tip had we been asked if we wanted more. We ended up leaving early and going to a different bar for more drinks. Ambiance was nice with plenty of seating inside and outside. My only complaint for outdoor seating is for the restaurant to always have the umbrellas at the tables vs stating "if you need an umbrella just ask your server." Overall disappointed with Crossover after we had heard decent reviews from friends. Better, more authentic Mexican restaurants are available in the area."

Kept seeing ads on Facebook for this place, we happened to be in Oshkosh so decided to check it out. It looks like a small mom n pop shop. I'm assuming the person who greet us at the door was the owner. He was very nice, friendly, and attentive. He was greeting, answering phones, waiting tables, and was in and out of the kitchen. So you have to just be patient with him, which we did not mind at all. Food was great! I also got a strawberry margarita, not super strong and sweet (my kind of drink). We didn't think we order much but we were so full and didn't even finish our food.I also like the fact that they gave us 3 different types of salsa - all different spice levels. They do sell quesabirria, it's just not on the menu - just ask for it. It was good btw. Would recommend and go again if we're ever in town.

Mexic 103 is an absolute hidden gem in the least likely place possible. This unassuming family establishment is turning out some of the best Mexican food in the greater milwaukee area as far as I'm concerned. Great flavor, great price, awesome selection. Plenty of choices for meat, vegetarian and vegan too!! I highly suggest you give this place a try but if you plan to eat in or take out, give yourself some time as they only have a few staff and everything is made fresh to order. No fast food here. One of my faves now!!

Food is good, but not spectacular. Service is friendly as long as there are not a lot of ethnic patrons present. If there are, then you kind of get forgotten.

Tasty and affordable tacos loaded with the protein of your choice. I scarfed five of them but easily could have eaten seven or so, they were so good. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food in this cozy and convenient restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you're in the area, you can't miss with this place, and it won't break your budget.

Do not sleep on 3 amigos. This is one of the best restaurants in lake villa. I usually always order breakfast from here; they have huge portion sizes so you usually have to take it home but then you get left overs! My family each got something different. I ordered the denver omelet which was super cheesy! They also came with a side of pancakes! There was no wait and the waitress was super attentive. Can't wait to go back!

It is a really decent, quasi, fast food place that seems more like a proper restaurant. It's a Mexican fare joint that has one order up at the counter then the food is quickly zipped over to your table. I've eaten here twice and both times I was pleased. I liked the white queso dip with grilled onions and the chimichangas. The Spanish Traveler is hidden in the back of a strip mall but worth the drive out west. And, it's close to the excellent Mom's Kitchen across the street in case you want Thai or sushi. Waukesha is growing up and getting some better cuisines. Bravo.

"I have been here twice. I was told by someone to try the lobster grilled cheese. It is probably 5000 calories and worth everyone of them. The second time I did not even look at the menu and just ordered it again. First rime I was with my husband and second time was with a group of 6. Everyone enjoyed their food. They have eggplant fries as a side option and they are really food. Not soggy or greasy. You wait a bit for your food but the service is good so you will always have a drink in front of you. It does get quite noisy even on a weekday but it is a bar so not a shock. It is not huge and I guess the fish fry is really good. I am sure it gets packed on Fridays."
"I took out dinner from here. The place seems to be a popular spot. I saw a lot more people taking out food from here. Platillo de borego was an interesting dish with lamb meat. It comes with a choice of green and red sauce. Green sauce is spicier and more flavorful. Chimichanga was my other dish. That was really good as well. I also went for a large horchata. The quantity was a lot. Overall good Mexican food for reasonable prices."
"JC's Mexican-American Grill is a rather new restaurant in Burlington. It has a casual and cozy atmosphere, and their food is awesome. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Service is exceptional. You can taste the quality and time they put into their authentic menu. Serving comfort food, desserts, and small plates. Curbside pickup, Delivery, Takeout, and Dine-in available. Plenty of street parking. Dogs allowed (outside patio)."
"As far as breakfast diners go, this is a staple in Waukegan. My family and I have been coming for years! If you're in Waukegan, you have to stop by.The waitresses are very kind and never miss a beat. The cook is always quick and the quality of his food is consistent, and he'll even take your order if the waitresses are behind. They have a very old-school, rustic trucker feel. Most of the seats are over-the-counter but they have a couple booths and a table or two. There's enough parking but not enough SPACE INSIDE! Only issue is that, especially on the weekends, they get packed and run out of space to seat people. They definitely need to expand and maybe remodel a bit to give the place a facelift.I completely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great breakfast. You gotta check this place out!"
"If you like La Tapatia, but you live on the north side, then this is the place for you. They have the same fried taco recipe as the aforementioned south side staple (I think they're owned by brothers or cousins or something). Unlike La Tap, Mi Jac is a full restaurant, featuring an impressive remodel and addition within the last year or so. I've had most of the menu and it's all at least fair, if not quite good! However, it's the fried tacos that everyone clambers in the doors for. Carry out service is a giant part of their biz, with the tacos Fritos being the mainstay.Sidenote: you ever been offered (or just straight served) a cup of chicken noodle soup at a Mexican restaurant instead of (or in addition to) your basket of chips and salsa??? Well, that happens here.I usually pass, but it's so weird you gotta kinda love it."
"Hilariously chaotic service, some of the best views in the Dells, and totally mediocre Mexican food. Word of strong caution - when you order the Diablo Shrimp and they warn you about the heat - they are NOT kidding."
"They have a new location on Loomis road in the old Carls catering building. I ordered to-go. The atmosphere is upbeat and pleasant! I ordered the steak burrito dinner and my daughter ordered three tacos Mexican style. My Burrito rice and beans were fantastic. My daughter, who is very picky about her tacos, loved them. I can easily see this being a once a week spot for us. I have never been to the location on 6th street. 10/10 do recommend."
"This Is a chain here in northern Illinois. This particular location I found to be the most authentic for traditional Mexican food. Tonight I ordered a burrito Suizo with Verde sauce, beans, and rice. My wife had soft tortilla Mexican style steak tacos with beans and rice as well. We laughed very satisfied with the quality of the plates that were served but the service was good as well. Although it's further away than some of the other two locations for me I'm willing to make the extra drive."
"I came to Habaneros for lunch a few months back and had a nice steak salad. We arrived a little early so it was pretty empty but it soon filled upThe place had a cute Mexican street theme with a decorative balcony over the seating area. They are going thru construction right now so that may change. They have a special lunch menu which is nice. The only thing I would have changed was the lettuce was a little wilty looking under my steak. Otherwise there was a lot of meat and avocado. I'm a fan!"
"Start with good chips and 2 good sauces. One is the creamy ranch style one. Excellent. We eat here often and explore the menu each time. I like fish tacos sometimes. Tonight I thought that I would try El Patron's version. Good choice. Fish wasn't fried and was tender and moist. Unusual sauce. Red thin and hot. Good match.Busy but not too noisy. Very fast service."
"I wanted to check this place out going on 2 weeks. I'm in the area for work. I wanted to check for authenticity. Walked in to ranchera music playing in the back ground. They came out with warm chips and salsa. Salsa was very good with a kick not too runny...chip able. my dinner soon came... 3 hard shell corn tortilla tacos filled with seasoned cubed chicken, kettuce, tomatoes cilantro onions and queso fresco. Seasoned rice and beans topped it off as sides. The tacos were filled as I added thier salsa as a topper. The rice and beans were authentico. I ordered from their imported beer selection and went with a Modelo Negro. Great meal for a little over $16. I will be back."
"We decided to try Super Moy after reviews from some friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food came fast. We recommend trying Super Moy."
"Ambiance is very comfortable. Food is excellent everyone should try the soup.Service welcoming and knowledgeable on drinks and food recommendationsGreat time!"
"This was my go to before COVID19. I'm not sure if they're open now, but I hope they open back up soon. I love their creamy green salsa, their chips, and tacos. Everything is super affordable. The fajitas are amazing."
"You walk in to the warm yeasty smell of brewing beer and upbeat music (not so loud you can't hear yourself think). All the tables are high tops, there is a comfortable couch/ chairs area in the back room. The bartender is super friendly. We ordered the sheet pan nachos. Fresh, flavorful and plenty to share!"
"Hard to know the hours to this place in Harvard since it can be unexpectedly closed. It took a few tries to get in. La Cocina De Emma is one of the authentic Mexican restaurants in town. Barely looks big enough to be a restaurant to be honest. The place has more of a homeliness to it, which can be charming if wanting to focus on the good meal. Any decent Mexican restaurant should have margaritas as well as free chips. It's about $9 for the cheapest margaritas. These have several flavors including classic lime, as well as mango and strawberry. Maybe these aren't too strong, but there's enough to get a buzz. The food has typical favorites like tacos, and because it's authentic there's also tortas. It's about $12 for a burrito. These are pretty big and packed full of stuff. Lots of fajita vegetables and especially great with jalapeños. These can be made vegetarian by not getting meat. If wanting meat though, you have choices. There's beef, chicken, chorizo, pork, steak, and tongue. Check the hours before going. It often closes for private parties. These often happen on weekends."
"What a good experience. This was the only place open early on a Saturday morning. I'm going back again if in town."
"Stopped at botanas 2 after the Dan Jansen festival and had a great time with my best friend enjoying the best pina colada I've ever had on their back patio plus they also have a patio in the front so there is no shortage on outdoor dining during the summer and I would highly recommend if you're in the area to check this place out you won't regret it."
"So good! Strawberry margarita was more like a smoothie, yum! My significant other had a traditional (large) margarita and it was huge! He didn't taste the tequila because it was made right! (Meaning-it had plenty of tequila!) The chicken mole- amazing. Empanada-amazing! Elote-amazing! Churro-amazing!"
"¡Ay, caramba! These tamales are fantastic!I happened to be driving home and saw them setting up on 92nd and Burleigh this Sunday, and man oh man, I'm glad I stopped by!They offered pork, beans, and chicken tamales at 3 for $5.00. The bean was by far my favorite with a cream cheese-like substance mixed into the beans. The chicken was also delicious. The side sauce was also spectacular. You could definitely tell that everything was homemade. Their hours of food cart operation are:Thursday at 84th and Appleton at 11amFriday at Howell and Oklamhoma at 11amSaturday at 84th and Howard at 3pmSunday at 92nd and Burleigh at 12pmWonderful, small, family-owned business! Stop by, reserve your tamales, or even get them delivered Wednesday through Sunday! They do charge a delivery fee of $3 or $5 based on distance."
"WOW what a great lunch today and I just came across this place recently so it might be somewhat new with only two reviews. I'm so brainwashed with calling in for take out that I did that out of reflex and instantly ran in side to tell them that I want to dine in, actually sit down and be waited on and enjoy a meal on a plate again. The menu is surprisingly reasonable with all the regulars but I saw the #1 under the combination section and he'll yah. 1tostada, 1 cheese enchilada and one taco that comes with beans/rice and a salad. I had asada for my taco and al pastor for the tostada, the enchilada is cheese only.I was started with a foam cup of ice water and chips and salsa that came with three bottles of sauce, the creamy green was my favorite. The chips were fresh and crispy that came with a great chunky salsa that had some heat but in a small bowl and only enough for about 6 chips.WOW the plate came fast and it was beautiful looking with all the colors and a large plate of food. The beans were thick and seasoned nicely topped with shredded cheese. The rice was cooked perfect that was hiding under my tostada. The steak taco was my item to eat first and it was very good with seasoned moist steak topped with cilantro/onion on corn tortillas. The cheese enchilada was next and it had a generous amount of cheese in it and topped with cheese and very good. I tasted the steak and al pastor meats by them self and they were seasoned nicely and moist/tasty. I didn't get to the giant tostada because I was full from everything else. This totally satisfied my Mexican food crave and everything was delicious and seasoned with good flavors. This was the best Mexican plate that I have had in awhile now I thought. How could this place be so good and have only two reviews and no pictures of the food."
"Great place. They are a little lower priced and offer a generous helping of homemade chips and salsa complimentary with your meal. The Carne as ada was a little chewy but still very good. Get the Huarache for $5.99, it's a feast and is served with fresh avocado."
"Great dinner and tamales. The service is attentive and friendly. We keep coming back!"
