"I've been eating at pita inn for years and I mean years!!!! I've been to most of the locations but recently moved to the area and have been frequenting the mundeline location. Food is delicious and super consistent. I was having a house warming party and no brained I ordered pita inn catering! And what do you know delicious!!! "What a cool mediterranean place in the journeyman hotel. Love the vibe anesthetics. Hostess and servers were quite friendly and informative. Reservations are recommended and I see why. It's pretty popular! The portions are definitely on the small side so if you're looking at yelp photos that aren't recent you might be surprised, and need to order extra sides. Baba Ganoush with pita bread was pretty good but not enough pita comes with it so if you ask for more bread it's $2 per pita . The swordfish is pretty much a half portion for $28 and topped with pearl onions which wasn't really an accompaniment. The pizza was a good portion and better choice for a fulfilling meal and the ricotta dumplings are also a small portion but quite tasty. If I went back it would just be for the pizza."

"People have been loving Lebnanii House and with good reason. I met the fam here for a weekend lunch and the place was PACKED. Reservations - they take ''em so you best make 'em. You'd never know this used to be an old school Pizza Hut (the kind with the tabletop Ms Pac Man) because the interior is gorgeous. Lots of deep blues, flowers and really interesting lighting. Perfect for groups and nice enough for date night. The menu goes far beyond typical hummus, shawarma and falafels and includes lots of dishes I've never seen or heard of before. Know that portions are HUGE and perfect for sharing so bring a group or plan on leftovers. We started with the hummus trio ($13) which was 3 giant bowls of beet, pesto and spiced hummus served with delicious fresh baked bread. This is the creamiest hummus I've ever had and the pesto version is hands down the best I've had anywhere. That was followed by chicken basil rolls (delicious), halloumi, a couple of stews that I can't recall the names of (but were delicious) and a giant flatbread that was so fresh and perfect. I think I'm forgetting other things but we ended up with a mountain of food!Service is genuinely hospitable and kind and the prices are a great value for what you get. I cannot wait to go back and try more things"

"We stopped by Mr. Pita to grab a quick lunch while on our way up to Milwaukee for the weekend. Both are grilled pita sandwiches were delicious especially with the creamy garlic sauce. Also, tried some of the salads which were very fresh and tasty. Their falafel is some of the BEST I have ever had. It's so good dipped in the garlic sauce. They also have vegetarian options and baked goods. The owner, Kenny is super cool. Very friendly, engaging and polite. Excellent customer service!"

"I ordered a Greek Salad and a Gyro Sandwich delivered. I accidentally ordered the salad and forgot the Gyro Sandwich and called and they were able to add to my order (Yelp shows to call grub hub but they were not helpful). The salad came with good quality romaine lettuce, olives, tomatoes, onions, sweet peppers, cucumbers, chunks of feta cheese and a sweet salad dressing on the side. Salad also included a warm pita bread. The gyro included onions and two tzikki sauces on the side plus a huge amount of meat. Picture doesn't do it justice it was outstanding."

We tried to help by bringing the plates back to the counter when we were done, but I think we are allowed to leave it at the table. There is nothing awesome about the interior. They might want to put up some decoration at some point? But most importantly, they need to give their tables a really good scrubbing, or use tablecloths. It's sticky. Customer service was nothing to wow at, but efficient. Food was awesome. Beef kofta - if you get this per skewer, it's 4. My favorite. Very tasty.Chicken tawook - hubby's favorite. (it's like chicken shish kabob. I think kabob refers to beef, and tarok refers to chicken) On the two occasions he had it (part of the mix shawarma grill plate) it was moist and flavorful. Nothing worse than dry chicken, but this one was perfect.beef shish kabob - very good, but not as flavorful as the kofta (which should be more flavorful by default, lol. It's like comparing steak to sausage)arabi chicken - I never had this dish before, but it was quite yummy. They make good chicken!!baba ghanough - ok, but I've had better. I like to order this because I'm not a huge fan of hummus, but actually, their hummus is comparable, so I wouldn't pay extra to get this again (I mean the hummus that comes with the plates)Rice - meh. And not because I'm on keto. I LOVE mediterranean rice. Before going keto, I would get a plate to share with hubby, let him have all the meats, and I'll just eat the rice. When they're good. "Y'ALL--This is one of the most underrated, hole-in-the-wall establishments in Milwaukee. A must try for lovers of authentic middle eastern/Mediterranean food. The place looks nondescript and unassuming from the outside, and the interior is equally as confusing with its ballroom style layout, wedding cathedral-esque center stage, and takeout counter in the back corner. But don't let that deter you eating here. Service: 9.5/10. - Love the warm and welcoming feel of this family-owned restaurant. Owners are the sweetest. My friend is a regular here, and at this point, the owners recognize her. Normally, you have to pay for water (they only serve bottled water, no tap water), but they gave everyone in our party water bottles free of charge. - It was sometimes hard to flag down our server, but we got checked on frequently enough. - They were generous with their sauces! We asked for frequent sauce refills, and they would bring out big bowls full of sauce each time. Food: 1000/10. - I don't think I've had chicken this tender in a very long time. The meat fell off the bone with barely a graze of my fork, and was so juicy and full of flavor. - Rice is yummy and cooked with a delicious blend of spices. - Their red sauce is SO BOMB, I would take home vats of this if I could. - Serving size is generous and easily shareable between friends. Easily one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in Milwaukee. Just wish it was closer and not in the middle of nowhere, but maybe that's for the best; otherwise, I'd be here every week."

"Another show at the Riverside, another stop at Mediterranean Cuisine.It's an order at the counter and they'll bring your food to your table sort of set up. That said, the quality and presentation of the food is what you would expect from a restaurant that offers table service. I love their Greek fries, which have the perfect amount of crispiness and the right amount of feta. Their falafel wrap is amazing as is their pistachio baklava.The dining area is clean and well appointed and the service has been lovely every time I've been in.Get to it!"

Super nice on the phone and said my order would be ready in 15. I asked for the gravy on the side and they gave me an entire cup! Nice to have that for the mashed potatoes:) Salad was fresh and plenty and the country fried steak hit the spot. They call it chicken fried steak btw.. I'll probably be in the area for a while longer and glad to have this spot nearby. Oh, 13 and change for the meal which is super fair."

"We ended up at this spot as we needed a quick spot to eat but something that would be potentially filling without a ton of calories and what a great find it turned out to be! I got a falafel wrap and it was huge and full of veggies! The flavor was on point too!The service was quick although the workers seemed to have a bit of an attitude but at least the order was correct. The place is on a corner in a plaza and you honestly would think to walk inside but it's once place you want to check out. I will say the fries were not the best but I'm someone who really likes my fries crispy so anytime there any mush to it I'm instantly turned off, plus they were not seasoned that well.I will also note this place is open late which worked out great when we were looking for food again later that evening. The Philly steak I had later was sooo good too! It had tons of meat and was so full I had to eat it with a fork. I also thoroughly enjoyed the baklava which they do call it something else because it's a lot thicken than a traditional baklava. If you're in the downtown Milwaukee area and in need of a quick bite; give this place a try you won't be disappointed; although you do have to ignore the attitude of the employees, lol."

"Stopped by here to order takeout for five folks recently. It was a cold winter evening (15 degrees) and was incredibly cold in the restaurant as well (I'd say 50 degrees in there or slightly less). I don't know if they didn't have the heater on or what (I mean it was much colder outside, of course). It wasn't helped by the fact that they had the exterior doors propped open. There was a second set of interior doors that were closed but you could still feel the wind through the cracks. That said, we were there for takeout so weren't super concerned. There was only one person actually dining in house and they were wearing full coat and earmuffs. An odd start to our first experience here, nonetheless.I ordered their falafel wrap, which came on what appeared to be Lebanese flat bread. It was good! The falafel wasn't overly dry and they were generous with the pickles. I got their cheese fries for the side, which basic thick cut fries with cheese sauce. They were a solid aok. One of my dining companions got one of their bowls with the garlic sauce. I had a bite and it was delish. I'd definitely order their falafel bowl next time!The service was kind and the prices are reasonable ($100 or so after tip for dinner for 5). Not sure I'd dine in during the winter months but the food was good!"

"Joined my mom for brunch. This was my first time visiting. It's a nice little spot with both booths and tables for dining. There is also a gaming area. I had the Country Skillet with pancakes and mom had the eggs and hashbrowns. She had coffee and I had water. The skillet was delicious, the gravy was the perfect touch with the potatoes. I took the pancakes home and they did not reheat well. We both enjoyed our meals. The facility is clean and is the condiments on the table. The portion size is perfect and the price is reasonable. Best of all GREAT service!"
