"My wife and I have lived in Algonquin for three years with our family of 7 but have not had the experience that is the sun shop.Today we ordered ahead via mobile order and picked up a large fry and the Al Capone sandwich. The order said it would only take ten minutes and they hit it right on the nose!The staff were friendly and engaging and very on top of orders as over twenty orders were being prepared during their lunch rush.This unassuming shop is easily passable when driving through Algonquin, but I cannot recommend it enough. The sandwich, which is their take on the traditional Italian, is the BEST Italian sub I've had in quite some time. What is crazier is the fact that their fries are even better! Whatever they season them with is the key.We'll be coming back time and time again. Only negative is their hours of operation. They aren't open as much as you'd think they should be with how successful they are."

Always greeted by staff with a friendly hello, kudos their attention to detail while making your sandwich shows. It's as you get the prefect sandwich as though you made it yourself (adding more or less vegetables and condiments) . Your first bite into the sandwich matches exactly what you expected it to taste like.Also the potato salad is very good too. Place is clean tables available. "Always tell people that this is a must try for Indian food. Not only do they have a ton of great traditional meat dishes, but they also have a lot of vegan options as well! Most things are marked veg but be sure to ask if you're not sure as the staff is very well versed on what is or can be. The place seems small but they have a huge side room to expand for larger parties or busier times. There is always tv on and Indian Idol is a favorite. Definitely worth coming in for any meal."

They didn't seem to have air conditioning. That said, they had plenty of outdoor seating, so we opted for that as there was a nice breeze outside.I ordered the patty melt and cheese fries. The patty melt was ample and delicious with caramelized onions. The cheese fries were also delish. Our cashier was so lovely! She was friendly and welcoming. They don't really have any vegan options and for vegetarian options, they had a grilled cheese and I think some salads (obviously, I dove straight into some beef but better options were available).Appreciated the reasonably priced dinner for my hungry family!Get to it!"

"I've been driving past Tony's Subs for years now but it's never been properly lunchtime so I never stop, but a good old fashioned sub is definitely my jam. Having had the idea of going in in my head for so long I kind of had a picture of what I'd see when I finally got around to stopping in. Tony's Subs is a not quite that. It's a bit too clean, a bit too managed. Where's the guy in the black beanie with the dirty white t-shirt chomping on a cigar butt? Where's the naked disdain for the customer? Where's the grease and dinginess? This place is bright and clean, orderly, and everything is good and proper.Our sandwiches came quickly. They were tasty and the bread was fresh. I was confused to not find any chips in the place, which was weird for a sub shop, but then I looked up, and sure enough, hanging from the ceiling in tidy little military rows were all the chips you can even imagine. So, the joint is perfect. They've got it all: hot sandwiches, cold subs, fries, mozzarella sticks, even shakes and cones! I've only had the one sandwich so far, but next time I drive by I'm going to make sure it's lunchtime so I can try something else."

We ordered horchata and a piece of flan and it was huge and the best flan I have ever had! They don't have fountain drinks but this is normal for Mexican restaurants. "Basic sub place in Lake Villa for those looking for cheap ass food. It unfortunately isn't that cheap however. Sammie's only has the cheap taste it seems. Mostly subs, but there's some other things to get. There's fries, gyros, hot dogs, and greasy slop like this. A lot like an independent version of Subway but not as good. In fact it's a pale imitation. The atmosphere is pretty depressing, and it's not exactly clean inside, explaining why so many customers get takeout. It's about $9 for a Veggie Sub, pretty high. Just has the basic vegetables. It's nothing special at all. This may be the healthiest thing on the menu to be honest. Has lots to get as far as sandwiches of course. It's just not that impressive to be honest. There could be improvement for quality."

"If you're looking for a taste of Taqueria Chicago in BFE Illinois, look no further. The burritos here smack! My coworkers love the tacos too. You have the option to order them American or authentic street-taco style. If you order a side of pico de gallo, you will get almost two cups of this heavenly garnish at no charge. The staff hooks you up for sure. As for the salsa verde? It's nectar. Everybody always wants to talk about how you rank as a culinary expert based off of how much heat you can handle. You know what? This fresh salsa verde is guaranteed to get you to stop in again all on its own. It's not just about the heat, but it's also about the flavor. There is more garlic to taste than what I normally come across and it's wonderful. The only thing I am going to change when I go back will be removing the lettuce from my steak burrito. I feel like the lettuce doesn't compliment everything else that's going on with it, and it adds a weird texture. I absolutely love how no refried beans were used to make the burrito. It didn't sit like a ton of bricks in my stomach. You gotta eat here!! Yum!"

"I have had good tamales here. Both their regular tamales and the Oaxacan tamles are good. My favorite is there Oaxacan style tamales. They are delicious. The difference between this style and the regular tamales is that the Oaxacan style are made with banana leaf while the regular ones are in a corn husk. They make a few different varieties of tamales (pork in red sauce, chicken in green sauce, peppers w/ cheese, etc.) but not all kinds are available at all the times. The last few times I have called them for tamales, they have not had Oaxacan tamales. :-(I like their tacos too. In this recent visit, I had their goat tacos. They were really good. I thought the meat would taste gamy but it didn't. They were the special of the day (on a Sunday) and the taste was on point. Aside from their tacos and tamales, I have only had their nopales quesadilla at Lake County fair which was da bomb.I like this place and would here again. I am due for another visit as I write this since I haven't had their Oaxacan style tamales in a while. Check them out."

I grabbed the food and did a quick review to make sure I had everything and noticed the dreamsicle milkshake wasn't filled up completely which was disappointing. Most places it wouldn't bother me, but their shakes cost $6.50 each which I consider a premium price. If I spend $6.50 on a shake, I at least expect it to be full. I understand it is with frozen custard, but Kopp's in Milwaukee also makes shakes with frozen custard for about a dollar less and they serve you a full cup in bigger size.Their burger and fries are ok. Not my favorite in town, but decent. The staff are friendly as well. I just feel you don't get what you expect for their prices."

The only place in the city where you can get chicken, fish and a taco at the same place. I recommend that you call ahead and place your order. This is not a place where you sit down and eat but you pick up and eat at home. Another suggestion is to get the mild and the hot sauce for your food #iykyk. And once you do find it, you're in for a great evening with most down-to-earth and friendly locals Milwaukee has to offer. This is just a great, old school hometown bar somewhere north of Miller Park, but south of Harley-Davidson's Highland Avenue plant, a little west of the Domes, and east of Wauwatosa.Find it. You'll be glad you did."

For their amenities, Root River has a bowling alley, volleyball leagues, and a banquet hall for parties and other special occasions. Also new: the Swagger Sports Bar. They are open every day for lunch and dinner. My husband and I were here recently for a retirement party for two of his colleagues. The banquet hall was very spacious. The hall can accommodate 200+ people and has a full bar. The staff was very nice and made sure everyone was taken care of. If you are looking for a place to hold your wedding or other special event, I would recommend checking this place out."
