"Been meaning to write a review for a while as I have been here many times both in west Allis and at the public market. They have the best bloodys in Milwaukee or possibly the the world. Be prepared to have a small meal attached to it (the special ones at least). And of course a beer chaser. Depending on which location you go to both are inviting. Obviously there is less space at the public market so if you don't mind other people, this is a cool spot and you can check out other places while you're at it. If you go to the west Allis location, there's a good amount of seating inside and outside but does fill up quickly. If you're on a wait, go check out Betcher meats next door. That's another review for another day. I've had the poutine, some breakfast sandwiches and the hotdog. All of them are ridiculously good. This food is rich and very filling. You're not coming here for a light meal. That being said, if you're looking for Milwaukee food. This place is a stable of what Milwaukee is all about. The drinks, the sausage, the cheese! Everyone is friendly. Willing to help and they don't waste time. Space is limited at the market but they somehow work their magic and never lose their cool! I bring out of town guest here and it's ALWAYS a highlight! Love this place, 10/10."
"Great place in the middle of Libertyville to eat in or get carryout salads and deli items. It has a pretty big menu. The Picnic Basket is a longtime favorite of locals to come to at lunch to get something healthy, or to get something for catering or whatever. Has many salads to choose from. You can also get sandwiches. A great option is to get a few salads in a combo. It's one way to sample a few. They have the 3 Salad Combo where you choose any of these. It's about $10 so it's a pretty good value for all of it. Last time in here I got some of these. Farro Salad is one of the best. It has chickpeas, garlic, and tomatoes. Pecan Spinach is good too. A simple one but has lots of crunch. It has apples, red onions, and tomatoes. Quechuan Quinoa is another favorite. It has black beans, corn, and peppers. This is pretty filling and spicy if you like that. Has lots of very tasty salads to choose from. If wanting to get something more for a main meal, they also have lots of sandwiches. This place is pretty great to go to for something healthier, and to get things for vegans and vegetarians."

"Cafe India continues to be consistently the best Indian restaurant, and my go to. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is a 10!"
"This was my first time, trying Korean food, and it did not disappoint. I loved the flavor of the dishes & the quality of the food! To start we had the Spicy Sweet Dumplings (which I highly recommend) & then split the Beef Bibimbap. It was a good amount of food for 2 people & we left satisfied. Servers were nice, and the service was also quick! Will definitely be back again soon."
"Overall GREAT spot! Paninis were YUMMY!! I would say the prices were a bit on the higher side, but it's totally worth it. First time we visited & most definitely coming back again. They have games & staff was SUPER FRIENDLY :)"
"Their sandwiches and cheesecake are absolutely amazing! The customer service is always good and the food does not disappoint. I've never sat inside to eat - but take it to go and it's always still delicious."
"Indian Village has been my favorite restaurant for 5+ years. I have brought all of my friends and family here, and everyone loves it! They have remodeled within the last year and it is beautiful. It is family owned and everyone is welcoming and helpful if you are unsure about what to order. The restaurant is open until 10 which is hard to find in Greenfield. They are also on Doordash and don't upcharge The menu can be overwhelming if you are a newbie. Try the Gobi Manchurian for an appetizer. Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken are the most loved dishes. My current favorite is Kadai Chicken. There is an abundance of vegetarian options - I recommend Chana Masala. I have yet to try something I don't like!"
"Service was beyond accommodating. Food was delicious. Beautiful restaurant with views of the water. I plan to go back the next time that I am in Milwaukee. Simon was our server and he went above and beyond for us. We were in a rush to catch a train, and he ensured that our food was served promptly. He was very attentive and kind. We also pushed back our reservations 3 times and the staff was very understanding. They worked with us to make it a great experience. The artichoke dip was the best I have ever had. I had the burger and it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is stunning. We sat inside but could still enjoy the views."
"Recently brought my parents to see the capitol building in Madison and after wandering around a bit, were in the mood for some lunch. My dad is a big fan of BelAir Cantina in the Milwaukee area so he was excited to see they had a location near the capitol in Madison. The restaurant itself is bright, sleek, and modern inside. We started things off with their queso blanco fundido which comes with two ample bowls of hot and fresh tortilla chips. The dip itself is a tasty blend of white cheeses and spices. I could eat way too much of this. For my main, I got a quesadilla with a side of guacamole. The quesadilla was tasty with, in addition to the guacamole, a side of crema. I will warn the side of guacamole was huge. It easily provided guacamole for everyone at the table. My dining companion also opted for sweet plantains to share which were decadent and delicious. They were the star of the show for me. Buttery, sweet, and topped with crema and queso fresco--they were absolutely dreamy. The service was prompt and efficient.Get to it!"
"Grabbed dinner with my bestie and enjoyed the meatloaf! So flavorful and the glazed carrots were delish. Service was good and the place was packed even on a week night when we went. Thankfully my friend made a reservation for us! She really enjoyed the chicken pasta as well! Follow me on Instagram at yelpershawn for more reviews!"
"Ordered take out, sirloin brgr n fries. A few things: 1) done to perfection 2) under $10, great value! 3) friendliest folks 4) local ownersThanks again for an excellent meal"
"Best Indian Food in Milwaukee. We continue to come back time and time again after trying many other Indian restaurants. They are always consistent with the quality of food, fantastic taste and great service. The owners really work hard and take pride in the delicious food they create. This has become our go to favorite Indian restaurant and I really hope you all go try it out. You won't be disappointed. It's become a tradition with my Boyfriend's family to meet here around every Thanksgiving to have a celebratory dinner with one another! AND if you like beer Old Monk is the best!!!"

5 stars for food! Order at the counter & find your seat. Sandwiches and entrees are EASILY shareable. We ordered cheese curds and wouldn't be surprised if it was a full pound of cheese curds. We had the Siracha sandwich YUM and the special, chicken Parmasean sandwich. Didn't order the Bloody Mary special, but dang, it looked fantastic! Interesting and well stocked cheese, hot sauces, and deli items in the store Very friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended!

Good place to pick up sandwiches at reasonable prices in downtown Libertyville, and eat-in.After we stopped by the Farmer's Market on Thursday, we decided to have lunch at this deli-style restaurant. It is cafeteria style, where you get in a food serving line to order your sandwiches, soup, etc, and then pay for it. It's a well organized system, that can serve a lot of people at one time. We were a larger party, so got to order a lot of different sandwiches. All of them come with potato chips, and with soup (if part of a daily special). All the sandwiches were good: with plenty of deli sliced meats. I really liked the chili (hearty with two types of beans and ground beef...reminded me a lot of Wendy's chili which I really love). The sandwiches used non-descript, sliced breads and the meats seemed like what you would pick up at the grocery store. I personally ordered the muffeletta, and it was well constructed on a ciabatta bun. I wish it had more of the olive spread that gives the muffeletta its flavor. All the sandwiches were very neatly constructed, and put on newspaper like paper to mimic the big city deli experience. As the name says, this would be an absolute great place to pick up sandwiches for an outdoor picnic as the weather gets really good.

This spot came in handy as I arrived to Milwaukee after a long day, and at a hotel with no room service. Enter delivery right to my room of some tasty Indian food from this spot! One highlight here was the veggie samosa. It was so flavorful and loaded with potatoes. The naan was actually not my favorite; different texture than I usually see, and not a lot of flavor. I went basic and got the chicken tikka masala which was pretty good. The chicken was very tender and the sauce had a nice and mild flavor. More of a commentary for the delivery app, but I would loved the option to kick the spiciness up a notch. So without having actually been in this restaurant, I can safely say it's a good option to order delivery from. Hard to go wrong with Indian food on a chilly night.

3 stars because the food is unique and for the most part decent. 3 stars because you will be broke and still hungry when you leave. I stopped in and ordered the Keto Irish poppers to go. Got to the car, opened the box to see 5 hush puppy sized balls, for $14.25!! I mean....not even 6 poppers. First, because it was a special for March, the price and quantity wasn't listed anywhere. So when I was charged $14.25 I never imagined I would only be getting 5 little poppers. Like, really? I'm 110 pounds, so I don't need a buffet to fill me up, but I had to come home and actually eat food. Unique. Expensive. Small portions. Epic: Please rethink what you're offering and charging vs what people are getting otherwise it's an Epic fail for me.

Great sandwiches, and their amount of options is truly great. They cheesecake is good too, and I'm not a huge fan of sweets. Hot tip: ask for the sauce on the side.

NEW FAVORITE! Was on the hunt for some later evening eats (9pmish) on a Thursday evening and found this spot was open until 10pm. Hurray! My dining companion and I were able to be seated immediately. They have a full bar but no specialty cocktail list. They can make a Wisconsin old fashioned but their tending skills don't go too far beyond that. That said, our server was absolutely willing to give making a Manhattan a try (what a gem!). We told him how to make it and he used an Indian brand of whiskey and for a first attempt--it was all cherry garnished goodness. For our meal, my dining companion and I shared some garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and aloo gobi. All was outstanding but the two shining stars of the show were the garlic naan (delish!) and their chicken tikka masala (out of this dang world). The chicken tikka masala was perfectly balanced with the most gorgeous mix of spices lending to a gloriously flavorful dish. One of the best chicken tikka masala dishes I've had anywhere. Our server was delightful, accommodating, and absolutely lovely in every way.If you haven't yet, you need to go.Get to it!

No but I'm actually still thinking about the tuna tartare...Okay sorry I got too excited and skipped ahead. All and all, my husband and I had a wonderful dinner here recently! I'd been once before for brunch, but was excited to return to try their evening menu and cocktails. It's a really nice space. So open with high ceilings and great decor. You can tell a lot of effort went into the interior design. We were sat in the dining space, just off to the right of the bar area. Our server was really sweet and attentive. I ordered an espresso martini, because it's one of my favorite drinks anddd because it's listed on their cocktail menu which means you know they make a good one. And good it was indeed. For apps we got the tuna tartare, and like I said, still thinking about it! So flavorful and loved the added pickles veg and chilis. Plus wasabi aioli for the win. Oh and the crispy wontons that seemed house made. We have the burleed brie as well, which was also chefs kiss. I mean what's not to love about melty brie cheese with hot honey!?We split the short rib and capellette dishes for entrees. The meat was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed the brussels and fancy glaze. Wasn't as big of a fan of the capellette, which was a stuffed pasta dish. It had ricotta and parm cream that I thought to be a little heavy/overwhelming. My husband agreed. Really liked that Madeira balsamic reduction though.A very enjoyable date night overall. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

"Can we please get three cheers for dairy free vegan Fro Yo!?!? After a day on Bradford Beach this was the perfect cool ending to a hot day"
"This bakery has tasty gluten free breads, rolls, and treats! Love this bakery! The staff are helpful and friendly. The location is Shorewood is great, too!"
"Mixed feelings about this one. Food was phenomenal! Service was friendly. But masks are optional in this establishment. Starting with food. We ordered the broccoli and cheese soup which was lighter than your traditional Midwest version. I enjoyed this modification because it didn't leave you full for your next items. We also got the root beer sliders which were so heckin' delicious. I want to go back and get two orders or the full meal they were so juicy and delicious. Would highly recommend the lamb lollipops. They're easily some of the best lamb I have had. Just the right amount of food. Lastly for desert we had to go with the only item available at the time, which were the truffles. And they were pretty tasty! Wouldn't recommend them for the price but no regrets ordering them. Service was good! I'm our server was nice, attentive and had good recommendations. Only downside to this place is that masks are entirely optional. We were the only two people wearing them. The server asked but she wasn't wearing them for any other table or while mixing drinks so kinda felt like a wash if she was breathing over our drinks anyway. All in all, I will definitely go back but not until the pandemic starts to falter."
"LOVE Gordo's Bubble Waffles. It's in our neighborhood, so as soon as we tried it out, we inevitably can't avoid it now. It's become part of our Friday tradition - dinner, drinks, ice cream at Gordo's. I can't help but the get the s'mores buffalo waffle in a box, substitute the ice cream with chocolate. I intend to try different flavors, but for now, the s'mores is my vice. There are options to get a regular waffle cone or scoops, but if you stop by, I'd say it's definitely worth indulging on the bubble waffles! It freezes well too, so if you don't finish it all, you can save it for the next day."
"I had a double Porgie burger which is similar to a Big Mac and the burger was very tasty although it could have used a bit more of the Porgie sauce. We also ordered a large order of fries which were done to perfection and the order was plentiful. Very friendly service and I will certainly be back."
"Consistently great sushi every single time I go!The only complaint I have would be that they use imitation crab in some of their rolls. But they are hands down my favorite spot now."
"Just happened to drive by this place in Middleton and decided to check it out. The cashier was super helpful in selecting a tea from their large menu. I had a lemon cake to go with it which was super moist and tasty...seemed like it was soaked in a little lemon syrup. The cakes in the case looked like art work, and I brought one of the Black Forest cakes home for my husband who thoroughly enjoyed it. Great place if you're looking to treat yourself."
"I visited the hotel Madrid years back before Movida became the restaurant here and thought I reviewed it. Mysteries of the universe- I guess not. Hotel Madrid is mainly a tapas and paella place- both of which they do really well. We ordered the hotel Madrid paella and about 6 or 7 tapas. It was so. Much. Food. Favorites were the paella, asparagus, and patatas brava. They had a heated outdoor seating area that was pretty private and actually really warm. Also, they have non alcoholic cocktails! My favorite thing. Of course you can ask the bartender to make you one if it isn't on the menu, but having some pre- thought out mocktail concoctions makes you feel less like an odd man out. I tried both - the jasmine lemonade was light and not too sweet- the other one ("sunrise?" I think?) Was more cloyingly sweet but really delicious. Note they do automatic add on 18% gratuity to all bills. All covid precautions were followed."
"Ok I know these are pictures from just the inside but I love the inside so much!! Yeah I know the food is something average that you can find at any diner but the inside is what would make me want to come back. I don't know if I've watched too many 1950s/1960s TV shows or what but something about this inside. But the hamburger and milkshake was actually pretty good! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!"
"We decided to try Super Moy after reviews from some friends. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food came fast. We recommend trying Super Moy."
"New location is nice and clean and plenty of parking in the nearby shopping center lot. They are well staffed and cookies ready in mere minutes after ordering. There's a few flavors they always have and a few more they rotate weekly. The cookies are fairly large and I would closest compare to Panera or Potbelly cookies. They're very soft and break apart easily.Overall, they're good but a bit too rich to eat a whole one in one sitting. They're a little pricey at $4ea but that's probably for the best to not go back daily haha."
"This was my first exposure to Pakistani cuisine, and I am now sold forever. I came for dinner on a Thursday evening with a group of 5 colleagues, including someone from Pakistan. They seated us right away and provided menus. The friendly server answered all of our questions and helped explain the menu. I ordered the chapli kabob which was delicious and came to the table still sizzling from the kitchen. I also tried someone's BBQ mixed platter which was moist and flavorful. I tried a lot of the other dishes at the table as well and enjoyed everything. The dining room is small but comfortable and the service is excellent. Our server was beyond helpful and accommodating. When it came time to check out, we had to divide the check 5 ways, and they handled it with no problem."
"First visit to Black Twig was a great one! Having followed their Instagram, it was easy to know what was available on their monthly or brand new menu. Their cute space w/some seating in the back or a loft crow's nest would make it an enjoyable hang. Ordering in person for carryout was easy and Black Twig is handling COVID well, with easy signage for employee assistance if ordering ice cream sandwiches. The Haul:Ice cream sandwiches in Vanilla macaron, Funfetti sugar cookie and Cinnamon Toast Crunch macaronCookie Dough CakesiclesMacarons for days! Loved the variety and focus on their craft, and everything was delicious and appreciated by the whole family!"
"I'm so glad I finally found a good boba place close to home! The staff were so nice and attentive. They had a huge selection of sweets and boba! Def recommend!"
"Five stars all the way around. This is a favorite stop for our family after any school activities. We can always count on friendly staff and a clean environment. Bonus points for the giant Connect-4 game, ping pong table, and fun games at every table. We love the selection of froyo, and the seemingly endless topping bar. Currently, the price is .50 per ounce, which is a pretty fair deal considering our family always leaves happy!"
"The vegetarian breakfast wrap has been my go to for the last year or so and it never lets me down! The chipotle aioli it comes with is so good! Love coming here either to quickly pick up food but also is a really nice spot to relax and get some work done while enjoying awesome food and coffee"
"Moving from Florida we were definitely looking for a boba place in the area so we found this place and it's so delicious! They have menus where you can self-build your drink so that was awesome! Nice place will come again"
"This bakery has excellent macaroons. It's a cute little bakery that has a nice variety of baked goods. I'm only rating 4/5 stars, however, because I wasn't overly impressed with their wedding cake options. While they offer free cake tastings, they don't offer a very wide variety of cake options. The gentleman who helped us provided us with a catalog of their offerings and provided us with samples of their choosing. I understand this, but I'd like to try samples of our choosing. The samples were very delicious, just not what we had in mind for our wedding cake. The gentleman was very honest in that he only likes to create high quality and unique items and doesn't necessarily go for traditional styled cakes."
"Obsessed with this place! I've been going to Manderfields since I was a kids and it's still amazing as an adult!"
"Have been here a few times and have never had a bad experience. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is nice too never too crowded. Overall a really great place for a date or even a group of friends."
"Good service, great reward program. Cookies are often too rich to finish but we still enjoy tasting."
"Awesome food and plenty of it . There Breakfast are the best as gar as I am concerned . Friendly fast staff . Reasonably priced . Could use an upgrade in Ambiance a newer look inside maybe , but has no effect on the quality of food ."
"We ordered takeout from here and I was impressed. I would recommend takeout. When I travel, gyros are like a comfort food for me since you can find them a lot of places. I haven't been able to find many good gyros in the US, but I liked the gyros here! We had chicken schawarma, gyros, falafel and a salad. The best was probably the gyros and falafel. The sauce put on the wraps make them juicy (not dry). We had a good experience and I haven't had other good gyros around town so I'm giving this a high rating."
