"Craig's has been a staple in our house for years, beginning back in 2014 for our wedding. Since then, we've ordered many birthday and other celebratory cakes. Craig's cakes are not only delicious, but also beautifully decorated! I love the many different flavor options to choose from. My favorite is peach, although any other choice is equally as yummy. The best part about getting a wedding cake from them is that on your first anniversary, you can call and get a fresh top tier made, instead of trying to freeze the original as is tradition. For my son and daughter's 1st birthdays they also received a free smash cake with the purchase of a standard size. Hard to beat that!"

"Yes! A cupcake shop and other sweet treats has saddled up in the facelift of Beloit's downtown. These sweets treats are a welcomed addition. The shop itself is clean and fairly sparse. I would imagine that this has to do with the business just opening. My understanding is the baker has been baking for about 6 years now and had a business out of Roscoe. The service was friendly, the cupcakes were awesome! As it sits right now, coffee and tea is limited. My understanding is this is changing in the very near future. My pipe dream would be for them to be able to offer espresso, that said, either way I will be back. The cupcakes are pretty amazing and not overly sweet with the cake part moist. We also tried the chocolate covered bacon. It is salty goodness and absolutely something I would splurge on There is a little bit of everything; to please even the most pickiest of palates. I wish Cup and Cakes the best of luck with this new endeavor and of course Welcome to Beloit!"

My 98 year-old aunt told us that her husband always bought her candy from Niemann's for her birthday, and since Christmas was coming-- well, you get the idea. Almond-dusted English toffee made her day! And we couldn't leave without buying some ice cream and some other items for ourselves. Great place to buy a gift for somone if you're laying off chocolate for a while (grins) and a nice tip to pass on to others-- now that you know how to find the place. Old Tosa is where it's at!"

Chocolate Chisel is a small shop with a whole lot of selection. My favorite is the salted caramel with chocolate mint in a waffle cone! I get all giddy just thinking about it. There is nothing better on a hot day than chilling in Port Washington with ice cream in hand from the Chisel! We love this place period! Check out the assortment of handmade treats if you're there too! You won't be disappointed."

Like, OMG I can't believe there is no dairy or refined sugars in these decadent treats!You pay for the luxury of making a better choice to cheat on your diet, but it is well worth it. Some of their treats almost mirror ice cream cakes with their texture and how cold they are delivered. If you are a fan of the fruity snacks, be informed that they are not really that great to me. The heart-shaped dark cherry chocolate treat takes like NyQuil to me. Their raspberry flavored snacks were the best. The avocado was awesome but it takes like key-lime pie.I can't believe such a decadent show is located in Volo. They are the best. You won't miss the dairy or the refined sugar regardless of your tastes. I promise! The tiramisu was my favorite. Then the avocado. Best of luck to this business. They deserve all the attention!"

"Awesome coffeehouse with comfortable seating both indoors and out. The outdoor seating overlooks the mouth of the river and has a couple of fire pits to sit around for the cooler days. (It is right off of Lake Michigan... so there are a lot of them!).They offer a very unique pastry type meal called a " Croffel". The best way to explain it would be an open faced sandwich or pastry with the meat or fruit on top of the croissant. Today I had the ham and cheese croffel and it was great. Drink menu is extensive. Good coffee too."

"I first tried a cupcake at Cake and Bake at a bridal show at Florian Park Conference Center in Germantown, WI. I tried a couple bakeries before finalizing, but I do no regret my decision in the least. Christine and her staff were extremely easy to work with and very accommodating when we had to decrease our order a month before the wedding. After an insane amount of compromising (hey, that's what marriage is all about right?) my husband and I decided on four flavors: carrot, French vanilla with Bavarian cream, Devil's food with chocolate cream, and apple spice with apple pie filling. Our guests inhaled them! Everyone raved about the carrot and apple since they were both fall-flavors for our fall wedding. Luckily we had an anniversary cake on top to cut so we were able to enjoy some a couple slices after the wedding too. The prices were extremely reasonable, which included a delivery fee and the cupcake stand rental. We've gone back a couple times to buy cupcakes they have available in their dessert case (the salted caramel is heavenly!)"

"They're still working out some kinks, I hope. Upon entering, there were several dirty tables. I found a "clean" one but still needed to wipe away some grease and crumbs. The menu isn't terribly extensive, but the prices are decent for the options. One thing I found odd... when ordering combo plates, you don't get a drink with the rice and beans option - only if you order with the side of fries. Ordering is fairly easy. Like Culver's, you will get a number and place that card in a stand on the table. A server will bring it out to you as it's ready. Ours took about 30 minutes though, for two tacos and a burrito plate. I guess I expected it to be a little faster since they weren't busy. Maybe it will get better.So far there's about 12 tables for dine-in, which is fine for now. I suspect it may become an issue if they get busy. For now it's fine, as they offer take-out as well.No hot sauce was available at the tables or the drink bar. This was really surprising to me since every other Mexican restaurant and food truck I've been to has a variety available for customers to use. They did deliver with the meal though. The red sauce is nice and smoky, the green is a little spicier but quite good. I had a steak and a pork taco - Mexican style. They were well seasoned and tasted good but were cold. That needs improvement.But hey, the bathroom was clean!I think they have an opportunity to do better and I sure hope they do."

"Been meaning to write a review for a while as I have been here many times both in west Allis and at the public market. They have the best bloodys in Milwaukee or possibly the the world. Be prepared to have a small meal attached to it (the special ones at least). And of course a beer chaser. Depending on which location you go to both are inviting. Obviously there is less space at the public market so if you don't mind other people, this is a cool spot and you can check out other places while you're at it. If you go to the west Allis location, there's a good amount of seating inside and outside but does fill up quickly. If you're on a wait, go check out Betcher meats next door. That's another review for another day. I've had the poutine, some breakfast sandwiches and the hotdog. All of them are ridiculously good. This food is rich and very filling. You're not coming here for a light meal. That being said, if you're looking for Milwaukee food. This place is a stable of what Milwaukee is all about. The drinks, the sausage, the cheese! Everyone is friendly. Willing to help and they don't waste time. Space is limited at the market but they somehow work their magic and never lose their cool! I bring out of town guest here and it's ALWAYS a highlight! Love this place, 10/10."

"We came here in the late evening and I want to say it was decent. The place is very STICKY. Service was decent. I don't know that there is anything special that this place does differently than other frozen yogurt place that adds toppings (I'm correcting to they serve soft serve ice cream with the frozen yogurt topping type of setup). They do offer shaved ice with flavors but it's not like the Hawaiian shaved ice sort of deal. They give you crushed ice with syrup flavoring. I don't know that I would come here again. If you were craving ice cream and/or shaved ice then check them out. But I would look for another place if you can hold off. Also be prepared to get sticky - the table was sticky, the chairs were sticky and the floors were very sticky. I think that was the biggest turn off for me and my family going to this place."
