"First bite at Ono Kine took me right back to Waikiki Beach. The loco moco had an authentic taste and was a great portion for a bigger guy like myself. Macaroni salad was great as a side. Also, went ahead and ordered the ahi poke, which was super fresh! Spam Musubi (not pictured) took me right back to 7/11 IYKYK. This being walking distance could get dangerous for my belly and my wallet."

"Stopped in on my way through for a healthier alternative to fast food. Man at the counter was very nice and gave me his recommendation but I just got a turkey sandwich with coleslaw. The food was ready in 2 minutes even with all of the tables full and the size of the sandwich was almost as impressive as its speed being made."
"Service was amazing ! My husband & I are always up for experimenting with different foods & recipes. We were excited due to the fact that we were FINALLY going to try cow tongue...and we were not disappointed. We (I say "we" but honestly my husband did all of the prep & cooking) did a load of roasted vegetables & it was delicious. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the tongue tasted exactly like a beef roast. Two thumbs up! Thanks Butcher on the Block!"
"I've been here twice now around apple picking season and it is an absolute joy! I have loved every experience here. The parking lot is easy to navigate and while it's on the grass, it's well marked with plenty of spots. They have free entry into the apple orchards and you can pay for added fun like a hay ride or to go into the corn maze. We opted for just apple picking and picked up a 1/2 peck bag and their print out guide of what color ribbons go with which apples. My friends and I had so much fun exploring the grove, trying apples, climbing trees and ladders and taking photos while filling our bag with our favorite apple varieties. My personal favorites are the Cortland and Crispin apples. They are sweet, juicy and beautiful. I ended up mostly getting these varieties but others we enjoyed were the Jonathan, Macoun, McIntosh and Ida Reds. On our visit there were thirteen varieties available. My 1/2 peck was $15- a steal when you include the fun of picking and exploring the grounds. It was really cool to see couples, families, friends and more out enjoying apple picking and there was plenty of space where it didn't feel too crowded.Across from the apple picking is the real shopping, they have an indoor market as well as a smaller food court area that does some items and caramel apples. The store has everything you could imagine from coffee and cocoa to honey roasted ham, fresh pies baked in paper bags and cheese curds. I even bought some dog treats to bring home to Oslo. It's easy to stock up on your seasonal favorites or shop locally for gifts. My friends and I had so much fun and will have amazing memories long after our apples and pie are eaten."
"My first visit to Jakes Deli was over 10yrs ago. I have traveled the country trying to find Pastrami as good as Jakes. There was no comparison. I used to live in Chicago and traveled to Milwaukee often just to get a Jakes pastrami. Now I am living in Columbus Ohio. Fortunately, my sister now lives 40 minutes away. I have visited her and each time we must make the 40 minute drive to Jakes. She too believes it's the best pastrami she has had."
"Smash Burger Wednesday!!!! What a Delicious Surprise. The Sriracha Melt was also super Delicious! The chicken tenders are solid as well. Thoroughly enjoyed eating at this establishment and the workers are friendly. My new favorite place at the Public Market :)"
"Have you stopped in to have some of the best sandwiches in the world? If you haven't, what are you waiting for? All of them are delicious. You may be thinking, you probably haven't tried them all, but I'm pretty sure I have. Koppa's is a neighborhood dream. From the banana tree, to the taxidermy and Jesus tributes scattered around, this place is a true jem. I come here for an occasional sandwich, ice cream fix and alcohol run. They have a great selection of beers and liquors. I feel the prices are fair for a corner store and the staff is always friendly! They are fully stocked with essential produce -- some of it doesn't always look the best, but it gets the job done if you are in a bind. Also make sure to check expiration dates in here as well!"
"A very good sandwich shop, small inside with limited seating. They make some creative twists on sandwiches, as well as most standard fare. My favorite item on the menu is the home chips with dill sauce. Get them every time I order from here.I can personally vouch for the turkey blt, the tuna salad sandwich, the chicken Parm, the Italian, and the Hometown Roast Beef w/ horseradish sauce. All of these are great, and I've ordered each several times . My wife's fave is the loaded grilled cheese.I've tried the chili, the fried chicken (deli sliced, a unique take) and bacon, the Cuban, the Reuben, and their burgers. All items good, but not as much my personal taste as the first list.As you can see, I've been going here for a few years, so I suppose I vouch for Breaking Bread."
"I have gone to this place for many years for imported cheese and Italian sausage. In my opinion it is the best sausage. It is lean and flavorful. The market gets the sausage from Chicago. It sells out fast. I had never eaten lunch from the deli. I had a tuna salad sandwich on a sub bun. The tuna salad was made with olive oil and a mix of Italian pickled vegetables. It was delicious. I loved that it was made without mayonnaise. They also have other sandwiches made with Italian meats or vegetarian. I would definitely recommend it."
"Great!!!! Everything about this place is exceptional. In the middle of nowhere but I'll be back. Friendly service. I'm living the keto lifestyle so the meat and cheese plate tickled my fancy more then the local competitors. Pick your own sandwich for the rest of the family. Thank you for the great experience. I will be back and will be spreading the news."
"Very friendly and a great selection of produce, also I love there shawarma and lentil soup very delicious"

This place is a slice of Hawaiian Paradise! The owners David and Guy are amazing! As individuals who lived and worked on the island, they know what they are doing! The store is like stepping into the islands itself with music, decor, & vibes! Amazing food: Great authentic Hawaiian plates and dishes. Great homemade Lilikoi cake. The "POG"Pomegranate, Orange , Guava drink is delicious. They also have specials that are directly flown in from Hawai'i. If you enjoy coffee or are looking for some Hawaiian specialties, David & Guy have a wonderful selection of whole bean coffees. When you go here David and Guy make you feel like Ohana.

3 stars because the food is unique and for the most part decent. 3 stars because you will be broke and still hungry when you leave. I stopped in and ordered the Keto Irish poppers to go. Got to the car, opened the box to see 5 hush puppy sized balls, for $14.25!! I mean....not even 6 poppers. First, because it was a special for March, the price and quantity wasn't listed anywhere. So when I was charged $14.25 I never imagined I would only be getting 5 little poppers. Like, really? I'm 110 pounds, so I don't need a buffet to fill me up, but I had to come home and actually eat food. Unique. Expensive. Small portions. Epic: Please rethink what you're offering and charging vs what people are getting otherwise it's an Epic fail for me.

I have eaten Corned Beef Sandwiches in a lot of places from L.A. to N.Y. Benji's is simply fantastic. I ordered a plain corned beef on rye to be able to judge the cb. Wow, so moist, tender and not fatty. Great flavor, spot on. Rye bread was also simply perfect. Squeeze bottle of brown mustard was very handy. Also enjoyed the potato salad. Not mushy. Bright creamy dressing with a nice crunch of small cut veggies. Cup of beef barley mushroom soup was pricey, but hard to complain given it was so tasty. There are tables and a lunch counter. Not fancy, but comfortable and clean. Only negative is that there is not a lot of parking.

Visited the Elegant Farmer recently for some fall fun! Recommend! Nice place for apple picking, an amazing corn maze (that spells Elegant Farmer and has the Happy Barn if you're flying overhead or perhaps a drone), a hayride that was oddly comfortable took us to said corn maze and to pick our our (insanely expensive) pumpkins. We enjoyed our hot lunches (chicken pop pie to die for and pulled pork sandwiches) and shopped the shop- soups, honey, preserves and pickled things, frozen chix pot pies (to take home!) and their famous apple pies made in paper bags that are Americas #1 Apple Pie. Make the trip you'll be glad you did.

Jake's is kind of an interesting place. Located in inner city Milwaukee, you want to make sure you visit during daylight hours and park as close as you can to the front door. The interior of the place is quite simple. There is an order desk immediately inside the front door on the left. As you proceed to the back food preparation is in the right and a handful of tables and chairs on in the right.Gwen took our order and set up our table. Extremely pleasant person with customer service flashing from her smile. I ordered the lean corned beet with pepper jack cheese and French's mustard on toasted rye. Sandwich came to the table hot and loaded with luscious corned beef stacked high. A dill pickle accompanied the sandwich. The cheese was missing. My friend ordered the salami on rye with Mayo. The sandwich came with a generous portion of salami sliced thin and stacked high, and a dill pickle. The food was great, Gwen was fabulous and the servings were well worth the money. We had fountain drinks from a common dispenser. The food preparation area is wide open. You can see every step of the food in process. The only thing that concerned me was safety. I would have preferred to go with a larger group, park closer to the front door and for sure go during the daytime. It was my first trip to Jake's at the recommendation of a friend. He was spot on about the quality of the food, but he was a little short on what to expect from the neighborhood. Lesson learned.

These cheese curds with delicious! As well as the Reuben and the homemade chips!!!I bought (too much) cheese from this shop. The staff were all incredibly helpful and kind!!! Literally ALL of them. One woman helped me with cheeses, the guy who I checked out with, and then I went to order a spotted cow and a sandwich. I didn't get her name, but the girl who helped me was AMAZING. (She just moved back from Denver and was so kind and helpful). Hopefully the owner sees this and can recognize how wonderful their employees are!

I drove past this several times and assumed it was just a corner store/small grocer, until I noticed the sign for sandwich specials. I went it for the $3.99 lunch special, which was over by the time I got there. However they have an extremely large variety of sandwiches, many with funny names, most of which seem to be variations on common sandwiches with extra toppings. The names and the variety and the minute differences do make it hard to choose a sandwich, I eventually settled on on what appeared to be a variation of an Italian panini. The ingredients were good, and fresh, with plenty of meat. It was about normal sandwich size. It appears they just used regular sliced bread in a panini press. The extra ingredients in this case were sliced raw peppers, which seemed odd, but I wanted to try the sandwich as it came. They didnt make sense to me as an extra ingredient. It did seem like a small sandwich for the $8 price tag.Looking around, it at first appears to be your average small grocery store with a deli counter but there are lots of interesting details. There are recliners and lounge chairs to relax in while waiting for your food. There is a moose head. There is lots of quirky decor mixed in with circa 1960s corner store lights and shelving-- personally I prefer the retro, non-remodeled feel, compared to the rebuilt gentrified stores elsewhere.I didnt look at any of the grocery items, but there were some snacks at the register that caught my eye. The prices seemed a little steep and I didnt need them so I opted against.I dont know if I'd go out of my way for any of their sandwiches, especially at the price point. I'll have to try more and see if there's one that's magic. The one I tried was good, but not magic, and $8 for a normal sized sandwich. But still, this is way better than your average corner store grocer and I bet it's a gem if you live nearby.

"What a great atmosphere and the food is fabulous will recommend definitely!! Grammys Sweet Honey Ham and Swiss Sandwich Savatas Corned Beef and Swiss Sandwich Bubbes Classic Reuben Sandwich Nanas Italian Sub Sandwich"
"Unbelievable! Deli restaurant pub all in one! Food beverage and most importantly service. Great I mean great experience at Kurtz's Pub and Deli. Even tho we sat at the bar, everything was top notch. Wife and I split the Reuben sandwich with chips, it was one of the best Reuben sandwich I ever had. Good corned beef, the rye bread fresh. Over all a fantastic sandwich. Can't wait to try more. Thank you Kurtz's deli!!!!!"
"Reliable favorite in the neighborhood. Don't expect any atmosphere but the food is solid. Recommend the tunafish sandwich. Burgers are great and hopple popple. Just ask for the salami to be well done. Perfection."
"We stumbled upon this little gem while on our way to the Northwoods of WI. We just happened to be passing through Port Washington and a Google search grabbed our attention. It's tucked into a marina, in a small strip mall style building. Parking seemed like it could be difficult at times, but we got lucky and found a spot right in front of the door.We walked into a bright deli-style cafe, with glass display cases and a counter service. We promptly ordered our food and found a seat in the dining room, which provided a beautiful view of the marina.I ordered the special of the day, which was a grilled pepperoni, ham, and turkey sandwich with caramelized onions and mayo on sourdough. My wife ordered a beef, broccoli, and mushroom soup and my daughter a ham and cheese on sourdough. All of the food was really good!!!Not much more to say...cool place, great food! We were back on our way after a quick lunch, but this place convinced us of a need to explore Port Washington a bit more. We'll definately stop here again when we do."
"This place is a hidden gem of a deli. I ordered a "sandwich with meat" for delivery through a third party app. For a reasonable 6.99, you choose your bread preference, two meats, a cheese, toppings, condiments, and whether you'd like it made hot or cold. I went with a toasted blackened turkey and boars head bacon on a white sub roll with provolone, lettuce, mayo and italian dressing. The delivery was really quick (like.. 20 minutes?), my sandwich was still nice and warm and hot damn did it deliver the flavor. The blackened turkey was amazing, the bacon was a nice salty balance, the bread had a beautiful crust on the top but was spongey and soft inside - all in all, a fantastic sandwich. With so many chains in the area to default to for a sandwich, it's easy to overlook an unassuming deli inside a corner convenience store - but please don't! You'll be so glad you found this place! This is my new go-to. For realsies.(I wish I would have taken a photo first, but I ate it too fast)"
"I tried their new Cauliflower fritter from Gaza special and it was delicious! Their lentil is very thick and filling. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes."
"Zuppa's is a great lunch stop. You can tell by the crowd that lines up every day.As you enter, Zuppa's has a chalkboard with their daily specials - including a sandwich, pizza, quesadilla, quiche, and entree category. They also have their regular menu that includes sandwiches, paninis, soups, salad, and pastas. My go-to lunch is always the Pick 2 Combo - Choose 2 - 1/2 size of soup, sandwich, or salad. I go for the smoked turkey breast sandwich and the warm pear salad. Both are amazing, and I would drive to satisfy my warm pear salad craving.Zuppa's prepares many to-go orders. They also have a freezer area with their soups and various entrees that could be picked up for later. Or, grab some of their pasta / various salads from their deli bar."
"I ordered a ham and Swiss sandwich. The bread seemed to be soft and fresh. Ham was your basic polish Krakus type of ham (Boars Head). There was way too much mayo. I had to scape it off. Had I known I would've asked for easy mayo. Between the ham and the cheese there was a minimal amount. The sandwich was just OK. It wasn't bad. The service was super friendly. The lady was very very nice and they made the sandwich quickly. I ordered the soup which originally I thought it was cream of chicken rice but I misread it and it was broth soup which was fine. It was good. I had asked for a lemon to squeeze into it being that I'm Greek and that's what we do. But surprisingly, they did not have any lemons.I was originally going to order an Italian sub, but I learned that they use Italian dressing which a true Chicago Italian sun that's a no no. It should be separate oil, vinegar and oregano. So I chose the ham and cheese."
"Best place to eat in Racine , no question It's excellent , fast, clean and the people are great"
"Excellent sandwiches, wraps and soup at good prices. Caprese sandwich was dLish and I took a huge bite of my man's turkey jalepeno wrap and it was crazy good. Eat here McHenry! Oh...and you can shop for your week meats too. Bonus!"
"You walk in and the atmosphere is immediately light. Brae is beautiful and wearing a smiley faced shirt that says "always optimistic". Jason Meaz is on in the background singing "I won't worry my life away". There is a bell with a smiley face on it and immediately I decide I want to dine in. Their menu is robust with a lot of good looking things. Then I see Award Winning Italian Sub and I'm immediately curious. Italian subs are okay... like the ones I know are the ones from subway mostly... So I ask about it and Brae says it's delicious so I ordered it along with pickle fries upon her recommendation. The pickle spear fries came out hot and the sandwich I have decided to give my official GOAT (Greatest of All Time) award to the Breaking Bread Catering and Deli. It was succulent, fresh, great dressing, bread, quality of meat and peppers... it was perfect. This is a family business and John was great to talk to... young guy and part owner. Brae is his girlfriend... and all I can say is thank you for the rays of sunshine. Lovely little gem. I will be back :)"
"What a great place to walk in and get a corn beef sandwich. Prices are reasonable and they don't skimp on the meat. It's take out only and they only accept cash. The menu has expanded since the last time that I've been here. They now offer various sandwiches along with polish and brats. There's always a short line, but they're pretty quick with the service. This is my go to spot when I don't feel like cooking corn beef at home"
"Great sandwich! Lovely bread, fresh ingredients, crisp pickle, and great sauce. Would definitely eat again."
"I love Lee's. I go there pretty much every time I'm in Racine. My favorite thing is to get a #3 on Italian bread with a side of chips, a peach Snapple, and a cosmic brownie. You can get all of that and so much more at Lee's. Occasionally, I also get the seafood salad, which is equally delicious!Everything is made quickly and the service is always great. I've never had a bad experience and I love visiting."
"Classic, locally-owned deli located within a butcher shop, attached to a gas station I come here for the deli sandwiches ever since Kenosha's well known local sub shops all closed. The fresh Italian bread along with their freshly cut meats and cheeses is worth a visit alone - none of the national chain sub shops could ever compare. The staff was nice and helpful, willing to accommodate special requests (I didn't have any but the people behind me did and they were nice about it). Can't wait to come back and try some of their meats."
"I make a lot of trips between Milwaukee and Green Bay--usually via I-43 or HWY 41, but after lunch at Hilde's, I may have to change my route.Hilde's is a quaint little shop on Chilton's Main Street with fresh Door County coffee, free wi-fi, a deli and a bakery. Reviewing all my lunch options, I completely went overboard with a roast beef sub and a slice of pecan pie with a dollop of fresh whipped cream on top.Mmm, pecan pie. One of my favorites. Plus it was only $2.29!!And if pecan pie doesn't rev your engine, there's plenty of other decadent options in the cold case. They also offer a lot of fresh made deli subs. In true Wisconsin fashion, many come with a big o' slab of cheese. My roast beef sandwich was close to perfection: onions, long-sliced dill pickles, horseradish sauce, lean roast beef, and a slab of brick cheese all upon a fresh hoagie bun. Seriously, Hilde's. Can you move to Milwaukee? This review is short, a lot like my visit, but the next time I'm in the area, you can sure bet that I'm going to make my way back to Hilde's. After all, where else can one score a slice of pecan pie for only $2.29? At that price, take two!!"
"The Papaya Salad here is the cheapest around town and they give the most generous portion I've seen. I was in a mood for papaya salad and remembered reading about the hidden snack corner in this store. I went on a Friday afternoon and there was only one other patron in the snack area. I ordered the papaya salad ($5) and the man behind the counter asked "how many peppers?" then began to make the salad from scratch using a mortar and pestle. FYI if you want it spicy, tell them '4' peppers. I love and tolerate spicy food well, but this had my mouth sweating. The end product was a crisp, hearty sized to-go container of salty sweet goodness. The young green papayas were finely shredded and well balanced throughout. Also sprinkled atop were generous helpings of roasted peanuts. If you like your papaya salad a little saltier and fishier, ask for it in Laos Style. Thai style is what they serve at other Thai restaurants around town, which is more sweet and sour.Super friendly folks, mom-and-pop run business that I'll definitely support and recommend all my yelpers to try out! They also serve other favorites such as Larb, Pho, and fried fish! They have rearranged the store a bit and are now offering a nice area for a sit-down meal by the order counter."
"I was on the hunt for a Chicago style corned beef sandwich in Rockford. Yelp's #1 pick was Countryside Meats & Deli. Well, Yelp, you missed the mark on that one, but Countryside is great for other things.First of all, I tried the corned beef sandwich. It tasted like a corned beef sandwich I could make at home, and not in a good way. All the ingredients were fresh and appropriate but there was nothing that would make me want to leave my house and purchase the sandwich. It also wasnt Chicago style, but that's probably not relevant to most people reading the reviews.I also tried the daily special, which a turkey and bacon sandwich on a croissant. I liked it much more so than the corned beef sandwich. Again, simple ingredients, but the combination worked very well and I would likely get it again.Someone else ordered chilli and french onion soup and based on the smell I had to try the french onion. It is made in house and came with a small piece of toasted covered in melted cheese. The flavor of the french onion soup was AMAZING although the onions had not reduced enough.I would go back, but Yelp, this is not the place for a corned beef sandwich."
"This place had expensive written all over it as I walked in but I was completely surprised at how affordable everything was. This store looks tiny from the outside but it enormous on the inside. This place has everything you would find in a regular grocery store and then some. A couple of things that I thought were unique, were the make your own pasta bar and the make your own pizza bar. Each one was $6.99 a pound, so do not put 3 lbs of cheese on your pizza or it's gonna be expensive. They will even cook your pizza for you for free but you have to give them 10 minutes to bake it. I've never seen this at any store. They also had an area for kids to play at. There was a 46 inch flat screen playing cartoons and a table with a place for them to draw and color. The only part that scared me was that this was right at the front door, so it's not like you could leave your child and go shopping. So it was a good idea but I didn't think it was that safe. There was a ton of fresh seafood, meat and cheese. I also saw deli sandwiches and a salad bar. So you could stop in for groceries or a full meal. I was impressed with the craft brews. The section was huge and there were so many to choose from plus most of them were all chilled and ready to go. There was also a nice selection of wine to choose from and a walk in cooler chilling some wines and cases of domestic beers. We also found a section of day old donuts. A bag of 2 was $0.85...that was a great deal and they tasted good. If you do decide to eat here, there is plenty of seating inside or on the outdoor patio. Plus do not forget about the free wifi."
"Excellent little gem in Mequon. Stopped in and ordered right after a group. It gave me a chance to see everything get sliced and prepared. I ordered a pressed pastrami with sauteed onions and pickles though the pickles didn't make it on the sandwich. No biggie as the sandwich was served with a delicious spear on the side. It comes with your choice of coleslaw or potato salad and I opted for coleslaw. Excellent sized portions and all of the flavors melded well with each other. I also got a potato knish - they had turnover and bun style since they're trying out the recipes. I got the bun style - no regrets. It was flaky, hot perfection! I downed it inno time.I didn't finish my sandwich and had 1/2 the next day and it was even better. I can't wait to go back. Check it out if you're in the area. Be prepared to wait a little bit for a handmade quality lunch if you stop in, but remember that it's worth it!"
"Food, service, and timing were all good!Ordered through the app. Waited for 5 minutes behind another car in the drive through. Pulled up to the window, got my sandwiches, and I was on my way. The service from the drive through associate was good! The sandwiches were fresh and tasty. This is a great location to order from!Random note: Cousin's has always had one of the best turkey sandwiches in town. Still true!My two minor complaints are not specific to this location:1. There is only one veggie option - the veggie sub - and it's incredibly boring. They haven't changed this veggie sub for maybe 20 years. It would be nice to have an upgrade or a second or third veggie option. 2. This is true for all locations I've ordered from - if you request mayo on the veggie sub, they never put it on the sandwich. As a result, I add it on when I get home."
"Never a disappointment when going to JM. Food is always good. The service is always friendly. They can get a little busy during lunchtime but have enough seating room to accommodate if you plan to dine in.Alway my first choice sandwich shop because I can depend on everything being fresh the bread is always nice and soft. My goto sandwich #17 famous Philly or Chipotle steak and cheese. For the hot subs. And the deli subs, I love the fact that they slice the meat as it's being ordered my goto cold sub #13 the original Italian."
"If you like BBQ, check this place out! Everything is smoked fresh and onsite. Great quality tasting food for a great price! You won't go home hungry! Staff is very friendly and helpful! Plenty of meal choices to chose from, or buy in bulk for your party needs. Stop by and taste the greatness!"
