"First time here won't be the last!! I have been wanting to try Crank Al's for so long and today I finally got a chance. Let's start with the atmosphere. This bakery is SPOTLESS. I mean we are talking clean. I also check restrooms as well when I go to restaurants and this was also GLEAMING. Next service. ALL of the employees were helpful, pleasant, and had a friendly demeanor. You could instantly tell they actually WANTED to be there. They were more than happy to suggest donuts but were not pushy or overbearing.Now the most important part. The donuts! These are by far the best donuts I've ever had. They were fresh and large. No short cuts here folks these donuts are AMAZING!!! If you are looking for a clean, super friendly local bakery with fresh baked goods that at extremely fair prices do yourself a favor and make CRANKY Al's YOUR hometown bakery"

"Stopped by Rocket Baby Bakery recently for some coffee and breakfast and they're great for both!I got their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It comes on a fresh baked ciabatta roll and comes topped with their house made melty cheese. It was divine. My dining companion ordered one of their vegetable goat cheese pastries. I had a bite and it was good (the lamination was perfection) but I would have definitely preferred it warmed. For my coffee, I got one of their specialty mochas. I got their almond joy mocha, which was a bit sweet for me (I mean, that was my bad--I should have known by the title). I'm excited to get one of their lattes next time.The service is lovely. They have a small seating area but in warmer months, they have an expansive patio. I'm looking forward to returning in pleasant weather!Get to it!"

"Bright and cozy restaurant with limited tables. It was already busy when we entered early this morning and so we sat at the bar. We split some croissant beignets which came out hot and lightly sugar-dusted, with a crisp outer shell and chewy inside. These were nice and we dipped them in raspberry sauce. My biscuits and gravy Benedict was the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. A soft biscuit topped with a crisp tender sausage patty, perfectly poached egg and covered in delicious thick spicy gravy loaded with sausage chunks. This is the biscuits and gravy I'm looking for. It came with a side so I added on a berrylicious pancake (additional charge for pancake of the month) which was good, with a dollop of sweetened sauce and fresh berries. My companions enjoyed an egg breakfast with crisp hash browns, and a pretty avocado toast with a softball sized- burrata. The wait staff was very nice and the restaurant soon filled with lines of hungry people and they started a wait list. We enjoyed our breakfast and definitely would return!Also -- I checked in on Yelp and you can get a mimosa."

Both the jam and the chunky peanut butter was of good quality. I tried their special drink - golden milk latte - which was turmeric, ginger and tea latte. It was good, but I prefer a normal latte."

My dining companion opted for another bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel, while I went for an iced matcha latte with almond milk and chocolate babka. The quality of everything we ordered was outstanding. My remarks about the bagel sandwich from my previous review still stand, and the chocolate babka was tender and decadent without being overly sweet. The matcha latte isn't quite coffee house quality, but it was still refreshing with a touch of sweetness to nicely balance the earthy taste typical of matcha. Service was quicker this time around. Our order was ready within just a few minutes. It was a little crowded in there (still not a place I'd hang around to try to get work done), but we found a comfortable spot by the windows again. If you're looking for a quality breakfast sandwich and a solid pastry, definitely give Allie Boy's a try."

"I've been eating at this restaurant when family comes into town for the past two years. I'm overdue to review. This restaurant is always excellent, super clean and their service is second to none. The owner/manager is friendly and kind to customers. She makes sure people are seated quickly and feel valued. This past weekend I ordered the fresh basil, pine nut and goat cheese omelette; it was the best omelette I've ever had! The owner came over and asked how the food was, I told her how much I loved the omelette and she shared it was a favorite of hers as well. She also had us try her cheesecake, I think with a lime topping. It was delicious! Definitely the best breakfast in the area, reasonably priced and service is awesome!"

"I've been to Orenda a handful of times. One of the things I like about this place is how early they open. The service wasn't great during our last visit but I'm hoping it was a fluke. We had to ask a few times for the water we ordered, the table behind us requested a damp cloth to clean up a sticky spot on the table and it took several minutes for their server to return. There were only three tables there. The food was perfect. I've always enjoyed the food here. The green eggs and ham omelette was delicious. The hash browns were perfectly crisp. We'll return because I do think the server was just having an off day but we'll see."

No biggie as we just took our coffee and bites to go but something to be mindful of if you're in a group.Their espresso is smooth, clean, robust, and flavorful. I ordered their avo toast which came with a fried egg on top and lightly dressed greens on the side. It was terrific. The bread was rustic and hearty and the dressing on the greens was light and lemony. The service was friendly--they were definitely working hard to get everyone their coffee and bites!Get to it!"

And, Roast is absolutely on the list with the greats.We've been meaning to try this spot for a while and finally made our way here on a recent Saturday morning. So glad we did.Their espresso beverages? Spot on perfect. I got their harvest latte, which puts pumpkin spiced lattes to shame. It was a beautifully flavorful spiced delight. Their breakfast sandwiches?Also--spot on.They have several on menu. I got one that mentioned having mustard on it. Weird, I thought. But, I'll give it a whirl. It was perfect. There's plenty of tables and a bar by the windows. It would be a great spot to meet some friends or to work alone. It's a sweet indulgence and I enjoyed every sip. I love the quirky crockery they serve their coffee in. It makes the in-house coffee sipping experience all the more charming. For my breakfast, I got an egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich with avocado added. I love that they put their own flare on dishes so that even if you're having a basic breakfast sandwich, it's distinctly La Finca with it's slightly smoky spiciness of having chipotle aioli added to it. It comes with your choice of fruit or potatoes. I've done both and enjoyed both.The service is always absolutely lovely and the prices are reasonable.Get to it!"

A REAL bagel - you know them when you taste them! I also had a very good iced coffee.Relaxing environment with lots of art and interesting architectural elements like bikes decorating pillars and lots of other vintage elements. Award for best use of vintage doors and windows - used in the counter, stage and as an upstairs partition. On a nice day, sit outside at a table with an umbrella and enjoy the sun and main street.Don't forget to buy some whole bean coffee, sticker, T-shirt, etc on your way out! Cash is preferred here, but plastic is also accepted. Staff were very friendly in this inclusive venue. Service was great! Don't forget to tip the staff! Combo of quinoa and farro topped with plentiful sweet potato, kale, pumpkin seeds, cranberries and kale. Plus, a nice drizzle of lemon tahini dressing. I added chicken for some extra protein. They have nice shade covers, flower gardens, etc. It was very pleasant sitting out there. Note, there is no parking lot but lots of street parking available. And bonus, the patio is dog friendly so we had our dogs with us. I will be back!"

I got the Bike Shop Breakfast Burrito with a Matcha Latte w/ Oat Milk. The burrito was the best with freshly cooked scrambled eggs and the seasoned rice inside was delicious. I loved it. The matcha latte warmed my soul early in the morning. PS: There was free art by the entrance which we grabbed. Definitely will be finding a home for these."
