"After two visits to this very well-known Hot Head/Crafty Cow on the very not hidden street of KK, I'm ready to review this basic burger and fried chicken restaurant that doesn't seem to do either dish especially well.Perhaps it's the dual business concept that one busy kitchen has to manage, but on both visits, our meals probably took an hour to be delivered after the order was taken. Neither night was especially busy. The fried chicken was extremely underwhelming. Over cooked and dry. On both visits we absolutely could not get enough of the Vietnamese Brussels Sprouts with chili lime sauce & cashews! I love the craft beer and flight options here (crafty), and can see coming back just for the brussels sprouts and a beer flight. But meals here probably aren't in my future."
"I was visiting family in the area, and we stopped here twice -- really enjoyed the place. Nice, friendly service, and plenty of seating (our glasses were barely empty when they'd come back to refill them). The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The fried pickles were good (wrapped in cheese and a wonton wrapper), but the real star of the appetizers was the garlic cheese curds. Incredible! If there are four of you, be sure to get two orders, or you'll be fighting over them. The ranch dipping sauce is best for the cheese curds (the marinara is good, but the ranch is better). For the main, I got the pinsa both times. As good as pizza and fast. The pepperoni Pinsa with Mike's Hot Honey is perfect. Gooey, rich, and just the right amount of heat. If you're looking for something simpler, they have a basic pinsa that is the equivalent of a cheese pizza. Others in my party got burgers and Caprese sandwich and loved them"
"Very good food the rice is very flavorful, fresh tortilla chips served hot, best hidden Jem the food is very delicious and redo all your priced as well. Have cater food here once first time eating here staff very nice as well."
"Best pizza in town! We picked up a supreme taco pizza found it to be absolutely amazing. The quality of the food coupled with great service made this a very positive experience. We'll definitely be back for more."
"Great place. Food was hot and fresh, chicken was not overly battered, sides were generous, and the workers were polite and patient despite the fact that the place was very busy. Glad I found this place - it will be my go-to for take out fried chicken."
"I was in the area and decided to drop in before meeting some friends at 5. Cliff's is small, and has a vibe unlike that I've seen in Madison before. The staff inside were welcoming and super friendly. They recommended the fish, so I ordered the catfish, and WOW. Better than any fish fry I've had in Madison, hands down. The fish was crisp, juicy, and well seasoned. The fries were very satisfying, and both had quantity to spare. If you walk past Cliffs and are intimidated by the small size, don't let that stop you from enjoying some no-frills good-eats. This is a type of food Madison is better off for having."
"Great food and friendly service. I had three pork street tacos that were delicious. I sat at the bar and met the awesome owner. I highly recommend this place."
"I drive past here everyday on my way to and from work. I decided to get a pizza and that was a good decision!"
"I have been here only once, and that too for a carry out order of spicy Korean wings. I had known of bb.q Chicken before going to this establishment. They are a Seoul based international Korean fried chicken chain restaurant that serve delicious fried chicken. In my visit to this establishment, I ordered the eight (8) count of their Wings of Fire sauce fried chicken wings as I was in the mood for something pretty spicy. I asked if the wings could be made saucy and crispy, and I was told that they made them in just one way. Since the wings are freshly made to order, I was informed that there would be about 15 - 20 minutes wait before order pick-up. That wasn't a problem for me. My order was ready as informed. I had my wings soon after pick-up while they were hot and fresh. The wings looked super delicious and tasted as such as well. They were saucy, crispy, and meaty. Their flavor was very good, and the spice level was too my liking. The Wings of Fire sauce was finger licking good. Yum! I couldn't get enough of it. The wings hit the spot. It was money well spent. I loved them. Although I don't eat much breaded chicken these days, I world certainly go back here to try other sauces based wings. If you haven't checked out this establishment, then definitely give them a try or more."
"What a great local restaurant! Placed an order for pickup on a Friday night and had a great experience. The woman who took my order was not only super nice but also very helpful when placing my order, explaining some of the dishes I had questions about. She was even nicer in person when I went to pick up! And the food was so good! Chicken was excellent, loved the flavor and was not dry at all. We had the sweet plantains which were great in the yellow sauce, as well as the quinoa salad which had a tasty dressing. I know whole chickens are a thing at some grocery chains now, but 1. This chicken was way better, 2. You're supporting a local business here and 3. The customer service was top notch. Can't wait to come back!"

Been wanting to try their Chicken for a long time but never was in the area until Christmas week. It's been about 10 days and I'm craving another chicken sandwich. Our party of 4 tried many items including Cheese curds, tacos, margaritas, Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, southern chicken sandwich, fries, Sangria and fried chicken.Everything was delicious! The Nashville hot, is hot for me but really good. I would get the sauce on the side next time. The southern fried chicken sammy, I cannot express how delish it was. Really crisp breading, juicy chicken, nice bun - fantastic. The only hiccup was the service was slow but we were in a group and really didn't notice until it became kind of excessive. However, the food came shortly after and was well worth the wait. I mean realistically it's chicken. Everyone should know, chicken doesn't cook in 5 minutes unless you want to be sick, so be patient! It's worth it!

Thursday was $2 off burgers so we decided to give them a shot. We elected to sit inside due to the heat, but the outdoor patio seems to be where all the cool kids want to be. The beer was cold, the space was clean, staff was pleasant and attentive. We started with the fried cheese curds... Delightful. Served piping hot with a gooey pull and a side of ranch. Just the kind of indulgence you want when you are away from home. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of mess. I was a damn good burger. We enjoyed them so much that when we saw that Magpies had a food truck in the park during a festival, we made sure to grab one.

Sooo good. The family dinner is reasonably priced and nice to grab for a quick dinner after work. The beans are amazing. Be sure to try all the different sauces they have. Never had anything bad here before.

Amazing staff and the food is delicious! When you walk in, you feel at home. Since Shakey's closed, this has been Janesville's go to for pizza and chicken. Happy Joes was pretty good, but Mack's has it beat hands down. Reasonable prices, and the greatest hometown feel. Can't find that anymore, so go there, and enjoy the experience. Thanks Billy Mack for a great place!

Going old school and a trip down memory lane for the guy who wants fried chicken. Always used this place for many events at St. Paul Catholic Church and satisfied the numerous eaters. We hadn't tried them for a long time as one who attempts to eat healthy Time to break with tradition and order a 4 piece chicken dinner and 4 piece tenders along with a side of onion rings. Plus I needed a reward for all my efforts and walking so a turtle sundae Fresh hot ready in 20 minutes when I called at 3:30 PM and was finger licking good. Onion rings were crispy and delicious. Chicken tenders with fries more than enough with excellent honey mustard sauce. Chicken dinner was devoured with one piece for later.Happy to support local who still turn out a quality meal and a reasonable price. Oh and the sundae was scrumptious. Only the Cole slaw was not a favorite as I have had better.Staff was customer service oriented, positive attitudes and welcoming.

Stopped for a late lunch yesterday at Cliff's Willy St Eats - we had the jerk chicken with greens and black eyed peas and the perch with coleslaw and subbed sweet potatoes for fries Everything was well prepared and delicious!

The food was super flavorful, fresh and delicious. Ordered a fish taco, it was huge, best I've ever had! If you want real deal and not the boring cookie cutter same old Mexican food, this is the spot. Can't wait to come back and try more stuff off the menu.

Always looking for a new fun pizza place to try. Decided to do pick up and when we got there they said they accidentally burnt our pizza. so we got a free upgrade to a large which was really nice for the trouble. It took a little longer to wait for a new pizza but it was worth the wait! The crust was light and crispy, not dry or soggy. Toppings were fresh and plentiful. Even the sausage was a good quality and I'm a sausage snob.

"Had a chicken and rice lunch bowl here, with the honey garlic fried chicken. I love Korean food so I ordered some traditional sides and drinks, like pickled radish and kimchi. The chicken was perfectly fried, everything was fantastic. They gave me some kind of little Korean twinkie with my check. If you just want some fried chicken and fries they serve that up, it's delicious."
"Now that the line has become more manageable, we decided to get some food from the drive-thru today! We both ordered box combos. I was really impressed by how efficient the drive-thru was! Employees were friendly and trained so well! Food stayed hot on the drive home. I thought the chicken, sauce, coleslaw, bread, and lemonade were great! The fries were so-so but not bad by any means! $23 for 2 meals. I wouldn't go often, but another great fast-food joint to add to the rotation! Thanks for making our first experience a pleasant one!"
"I came home later than expected and was too tired to start dinner so I ended up googling Deliveries near me. The first place that popped up was Crisp and Grill. I never ate from here before nor have I even heard of this place. I ended up looking at the menu and everything is average price so I figured I would give it a try. Well let me tell you. Aside from the average affordable price. The delivery was estimated to be 45-70 minutes which to me was fine since of course I wanted them to cook my chicken fully. Anyway, the delivery was 15 minutes early!! Yay on that! I was expecting the food to be a bit soggy since it's fried and being delivered but it wasn't! All the good was scorching hot and super crispy! The potato wedges (4 pieces - which i thought was a bit small in quantity) were actually huge! The fries were still crispy and fish was perfectly cooked. Overall, will i order from here again? Heck yes! Thanks Crispy and Grill for saving my night from starvation!"
"New wing place by my house. They have some Tajin Lemon Peoper wings that are super tasty. I like their flavor choices, they're a bit adventurous. Service was also very friendly. This is my new wing spot."
"Fantastic food! Chicken good, waffle fries good and curds were good as well! We will be back"
"Jay's offers delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food as well as other cuisines. We had Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Kadai, rice and Garlic Cilantro Naan. All of which were excellent."
"Top 3 best fried chicken experiences I've ever had!! The spice blend and the breading are perfect; not too spicy, just right. And the potato wedges, yes please, just try them! Cheese curds were legit as well. Don't be worried about their location, which shared walls with a gas station, they have top notch food here!!"
"Great new place in town. Super friendly, great food. Fried pickles and wings. Mmm, good. We will be back indeed. Support local support small business. Best to the team at Sauce & Toss."
"It's a great spot to enjoy your bubble tea, it has a lot of spots to sit, and many drink options. I love their drinks, and their to-go bag design, it is very cool! The bubble waffle is just okay, it tastes like a normal waffle, not like the Hong Kong waffles that I have tried from other countries.Overall is a good bubble tea spot!"
"Best fried chicken in Waukesha. They are always friendly when we pick up!We recently got mashed potatoes instead of friesfor something different and they were really delicious!"
"No more secrets!Secret hot is located in the Paper Table ghost kitchen. Online ordering is super fast and pickup is slightly awkward with groups of door dash/grubhub delivery folks congregating while waiting for orders. Once you get past that, the counter guy is super friendly and the chicken here is truly amazing. I've stopped a few times now and my go-to would be a two piece lemon pepper meal. The tenders are nicely sized and the seasoning choices are spot-on. If you like hot, they have hot. I like that they've got potatoe wedges - it's a nice change from standard fries. The sauce selecion is nicely done as well. Really a great spot and I'd like to check out some of the other kitchen offerings too..."
"Been coming here for close to two years now. The wings are incredible! My sister and brother-in-law ordered the fried green beans on one occasion and I am hooked! Trust me, you can't eat just one (basket). They have regular favors and rotating flavors. My favorite are the honey bbq, Greek freak, and Insane Yellow Dragon, but honestly I have not had a flavor yet that I didn't like. I have had the boneless a few times, but come on, it just isn't the same as having the sauce on your fingers and dripping down your chin! It is a nice neighborhood bar just across from the fairgrounds with lots of friendly people and all of the staff are great! If you have never checked this place out, you have to give it a try!"
"A greasy spoon, yes, but the food holds its own. I've only had their food once, so I'm pretty much middle of the road for now. The steamed white rice isn't very sticky, but that doesn't bother me too much.Prices are about what I'd pay anywhere, including Chicago. The inside is simple. Three tables. Chairs. Not gross, just plain. So far, so safe..."
"Ok so the menu is limited, but honestly that just doesn't matter because if you're wanting something besides this chicken sandwich you're missing out! With all these chicken places popping up now, this is hands down the BEST hot chicken sandwich I've ever had. I don't know if it's the breading, the pickles, the sauce it's just fantastic! The mac n cheese is the creamest ever and even the small is filling. We were too full to try the donuts but they looked amazing! It's a cute little joint with really friendly staff. GO HERE!!!! Keep them busy so they're around for a long time!"
