We had some fun banter with the bartender who made the15 minute wait so tolerable. The service was prompt as we got seated and once we made final decisions our food was ready in no time. I truly enjoyed the stuffed French toast as it was delicious and could be eaten without syrup in my opinion. I also enjoyed some of everyone else's dish which were great values as you can add 2 pancakes to a variety of dishes for only $1 instead of toast which is well worth it. The steak and eggs were extremely filling and a large portion which was nice. Overall, I will definitely be back for more!"

So glad we did.Their espresso beverages? Spot on perfect. I got their harvest latte, which puts pumpkin spiced lattes to shame. It was a beautifully flavorful spiced delight. Upon searching for a good breakfast spot in the area, we popped in to Cafe 1505 between meetings and, once we saw the Bloody Mary menu, we couldn't resist. The Signature Verde Bloody Mary in particular caught our eye. And, while it was very tasty and came with plenty of fixin's, we were momentarily disappointed that it wasn't green! Viv P. "**I've only had pastries here, and not the food, so that's all I'm reflecting. I've been here many times before (pre-covid), and the decor is so pretty. It's great for some coffee with your girlfriends, or for a date with your lover, though some guys may find it too French? but I haven't been here since covid and I'm not sure why I never wrote a review for the place. Their pastries are truly delicious. About 2 weeks ago, a friend made us a care package with about every pastry they had, and I really liked the plain beignets. Beignets:The raspberry filled I didn't like, but that's a personal preference - I just don't like fruit jelly in my pastries. any kind. The hazelnut was good, but the plain tasted better. Somehow, the wasn't the same thing with just a hazelnut filling added, but more like two different kinds of pastries altogether. This is also true of their croissants. Croissants:The plain one is flakier and butteri-er. Even shaped differently. chocolate croissant is shaped more like a rectangular donut. I can't remember what the almond croissant looked like? Bad memory. But one thing I know is that I'm never a big fan of croissants that are rectangular. I like the looking like crescent moons. Macarons:we got a bunch of different flavors and I liked some more than others, but I can't remember what they all were. You must have these when they are fresh. Do not let them sit for a day. Even a day later they just don't have the same chewyness level. If you're going to do that, get the frozen ones at Trader Joe's. Otherwise, enjoy these right on the spot! Bombe du nord:Looks beautiful, a chocolate dome with gold flakes. Kinda like a chocolate mousse, very, very rich, but oh so satisfying. I can only eat a quarter piece at a time, it's that rich. Then there was this long rectangular pastry/dessert that I don't know the name of. It had some gummies fruit layers, some cake laters, some cream layers.? I don't know what it was, but it was so good. I didn't see it the next time we visited. And I don't know why I didn't take pictures of this. It was so goooooood.....So Saturday morning, we picked up 2 plain beignets and and 2 macarons. Macarons:chocolate - it was very full of chocolate flavor. like, infused. But I didn't like it too much. I could just eat chocolate mousse or something. Oh, I don't know when these were made, but the chocolate one was definitely made before the strawberry one, maybe even a day ahead. Not as soft and chewy, but rather harder and crumbly. strawberry - ok, so I say strawberry, but it may have been another flavor. I can't tell what it was. all I remember is that this one was a piece of the moon. So good. There was just enough hint of fruitiness, chewy amazingness, and even some cream filling surrounding it that just brought everything together. I was sad I only got one."

This delicious warm apple cinnamon covered in whipped cream creation should be marketed as A BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA! Everyone should order it instead of birthday cake with bacon (although my Service dog ate the bacon and wouldn't even share it with me -- LOL)! I did not expect a waffle covering the plate, topped with whipped cream to arrive at the table. My eyes almost popped out of my head when I realized it was my order! Then, I tasted it and floated away on clouds of birthday bliss as angels sang a private rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus in A Minor (very difficult to do)! My neighbor said that part never happened but I swear I heard it!The restaurant is clean and comfy. The service was friendly and prompt. We went on their busiest day -- Sunday. The staff was working well together to ensure the customers had a great dining experience. The food is not fancy but it's good. It's a great place to take well behaved children and my service dog was not questioned. There's a private room for larger groups and I'm told that most Sundays are extremely busy. The let's were good and the value is wonderful. You can afford to take a friend or family or to eat here without mortgaging your home! Be sure u check the hours before you drop in, as with most restaurants, they are not open all day! I love that this is a neighborhood restaurant that I can frequent by walking. "I have had this place bookmarked for a long time and I have called over the years to ask if the corn beef was available that day and I was always told no, the day I finally stop over and in no mood for corn beef hash it's on the specials menu, dam it. The place is on the corner with tons of old school charm and a nice outdoor patio with a little bar up front. The back has a coffee/beverage bar wide open to the patio which was cool. The menu didn't exactly have what I wanted but the Highlands ham and eggs sounded good some what but I asked if I could tweak it because I didn't want beer battered eggs and I have been eating ham all week. They gladly let me substitute sausage links and sunny side up eggs which was what I was more in the mood for. The service was good with no issues and the food came fast and hot. My plate looked fantastic with perfect sunny side up eggs that had huge yokes over a vegetable hash with five sausage links. The eggs were tasty and hit the spot with all that good yoke soaking into the hash, next time the battered eggs. The sausage links were on the lean side so not greasy at all and average but not bad. The veggie hash was no joke and had tons of assorted veggies/potatoes to my surprise, no skimping here. My breakfast was a little different but it was very good.Overall this was a nice old school place to have a nice relaxing breakfast with the surprisingly good veggie hash, can't wait to get the corn beef hash in the future. I don't hand out that rare 5th star too often unless I feel like it was really deserved, 4 is really good from me but they get the 5 star today. I like the menu but when I finally got over I wanted something different and they gladly accommodated me and didn't charge me any up fees for completely changing the dish and getting it right , 2-3 sausage links would have been fine, 5 was more than I ever expected so thank you for a great first impression."

When I walked in, I was struck by how bright, airy, and full of life the space felt. The interior is beautifully decorated--tons of natural light, cozy seating, and plenty of greenery, which added to the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the chicken coxinha, a cinnamon bun, and a tea latte, and everything exceeded my expectations. Coming from a neighborhood rich in Brazilian culture, I've had my fair share of coxinha, but this one was by far the best I've ever had. (As you can see the picture was taken after I had a bite because I couldn't wait) The filling was flavorful, the dough perfectly crisp on the outside and I loved the added onions, and it had that just-right balance of creamy and savory inside. The cinnamon bun was another standout--so soft, gooey, and packed with cinnamon goodness. I barely got to enjoy it because my partner stole it from me (which pretty much says it all). This café is a place I'll be coming back to. If you love Brazilian treats, a beautiful ambiance, and a cozy spot to unwind, this is the place to be! I can't wait to try the brigadeiros next time."
