Amanda S. "Who says you can't have pie for breakfast? You absolutely can, as much as some might disagree. I had an amazing start to my day at Honeypie Cafe! Before we allowed myself to get lost on not one, but two pieces of pie, we chowed down on the Breakfast Casserole. This is a party in a bowl, filled with biscuit, roasted potatoes, the most delicious house made sausage gravy I've ever had, white cheddar, and chunks of bacon all enveloped in a sunny side egg. It was hard to get a good picture, but the video says it all in 8 seconds. This dish was indulgent. Once that was well polished off, we treated ourselves to slices of Strawberry Rhubarb and Lemon Icebox pie to try a fruit and cream. Both were EXCELLENT. The Strawberry Rhubarb was wonderfully sweet and tart and yummy. The Lemon Icebox was topped with real whipped cream and based on a crumbly graham crust. It was refreshing. We hardly left a crumb behind of either. The service was excellent! Our server checked on us periodically and always made sure our coffee cups stayed filled. I highly recommend this place! It can get busy so I suggest you get there early!"

We ordered at the counter and grabbed a seat. I went with the trio and chose eggs, salad greens, and upgraded to the sweet potato oatmeal pancakes which was a great decision! The pancakes were so delicious and tasted like fall! They were nicely spiced but not overly sweet. Loved the whipped cream that came with the pancakes as well. The short stack was huge! Overall, we loved our meal and the lovely atmosphere. Would absolutely return!"

Their menu ranges from burgers and handhelds to salmon or jambalaya dishes. I had their fish fry and Apples and Pears cocktail. Both were fabulous and one of the better fish fry's I've had. The cocktail was well balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. I really liked the coleslaw, it was a unique recipe and I appreciated that. Everyone was happy with their dishes and the staff was wonderful."

Amber L. "I've tried their treats at events in the past with their food truck, Sweet Escapes, and honestly I needed to have the Loukoumades again! We took the 25 minute drive for my birthday brunch and when we arrived, we were seated right away. Although I have read reviews, I forgot they include a sample of the Loukoumades as a free appetizer so we decided not to order them because that was just enough! You have to try them if you are a fan of funnel cake, it really reminds me of that but soaked in honey and cinnamon if you get the original ones. I ordered the Jalapeno Pineapple Margarita which according to their website includes: Dulce Vida Jalapeno Pineapple Tequila, mango puree and fresh lime. It was $9 instead of $7 like their site shows but I got it anyway. I don't think it had much alcohol in it and wasn't spicy at all if you're sensitive to that. The jalapeno garnish would have made it spicier but I decided to keep it out of the drink. My partner ordered the biscuits and gravy (I forgot to get a pic) and I ordered the Cali Omelette with house potatoes and pancakes as my side. The server heard hash browns instead, but brought us a plate of house potatoes no charge. I preferred them over the browns. They had more flavor and were yummy. The omelette was good but the cheese really made it have flavor. Overall, large portions so we had leftovers! The pancakes were just the regular variety but very good and light! My partner liked his meal as well. Service was fast and we were probably only there about 45 minutes.I really liked the wallpaper in the women's bathroom and the overall layout is open with booths on the side and table in the middle.I'm looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu!"

The French toast was perfectly soft with a slight crisp to the outside, subtly savory, spiced, and sweet cookie butter mousse, topped with crisp chocolate cookie crumbles and coco nibs. A delightful creamy and delicate condensed milk drizzle was the base of this beautiful dish. This reminded me of a European type dessert that has the perfect touch of sweetness without over doing it. Well done!"

ALL of the employees were helpful, pleasant, and had a friendly demeanor. You could instantly tell they actually WANTED to be there. They were more than happy to suggest donuts but were not pushy or overbearing. Now the most important part. The donuts! These are by far the best donuts I've ever had. They were fresh and large. Erin L. "Been meaning to write a review for a while as I have been here many times both in west Allis and at the public market. They have the best bloodys in Milwaukee or possibly the the world. Be prepared to have a small meal attached to it (the special ones at least). And of course a beer chaser. Depending on which location you go to both are inviting. Obviously there is less space at the public market so if you don't mind other people, this is a cool spot and you can check out other places while you're at it. If you go to the west Allis location, there's a good amount of seating inside and outside but does fill up quickly. If you're on a wait, go check out Betcher meats next door. That's another review for another day. I've had the poutine, some breakfast sandwiches and the hotdog. All of them are ridiculously good. This food is rich and very filling. You're not coming here for a light meal. That being said, if you're looking for Milwaukee food. This place is a stable of what Milwaukee is all about. The drinks, the sausage, the cheese! Everyone is friendly. Willing to help and they don't waste time. Space is limited at the market but they somehow work their magic and never lose their cool! I bring out of town guest here and it's ALWAYS a highlight! Love this place, 10/10."

It comes on a fresh baked ciabatta roll and comes topped with their house made melty cheese. It was divine. My dining companion ordered one of their vegetable goat cheese pastries. I had a bite and it was good (the lamination was perfection) but I would have definitely preferred it warmed. For my coffee, I got one of their specialty mochas. I got their almond joy mocha, which was a bit sweet for me (I mean, that was my bad--I should have known by the title). I'm excited to get one of their lattes next time. The service is lovely. Eric S. "JUST THE TWO OF USA peaceful, delicious Sunday breakfast with my wife egg-ceeded both of our wildest egg-spectations.After spending the night in Rockford, we sought out a place nearby to grab a bite to eat before heading home. Eggclusive Cafe was the area's top result with a more-than-solid 4.2* rating on Yelp and a 4.5* on Tripadvisor. We asked for seating on their private outdoor patio, and they obliged. My better half loved her lavender vanilla cold brew ($6) and later on, the strawberry-orange mimosa ($8). Their bloody mary ($9) was spicy enough for my liking, and it came with a skewer of pickle/celery/olive/lemon. They also have screwdrivers and morning mules, so all of the boozy A.M. bases are covered. In an interesting turn of events, we flip-flopped orders. I've been a skillet guy my whole life, yet she was the one who couldn't resist the Mexicana skillet ($17): two eggs, chorizo, onion, jalapenos, cheese, sour cream, guac and salsa served over seasoned potatoes with tortillas. It got rave reviews, especially the potatoes (which she described as "magic").I rarely order a combo (sweet item + eggs + meat) but on this morning I opted for the Cinna-bomb French toast combo ($15), and boy was I glad I did. The cinnamon swirl bread came with an incredible homemade cinnamon butter which gave the whole thing a VERY Cinnabon-esque flavor. It was nothing short of fantastic. They asked if I wanted my bacon 'regular' or 'crispy', which is the first time I've ever been prompted for my bacon preference. And let's not forget their initials 'EC' stenciled out in powdered sugar on the pancakes and French toast (a masterfully classy touch).Bread = 5Circuses = 5Service was great and the ambiance on their outdoor patio felt distinctly Mediterranean. To maintain the chill vibes, they have posted rules like what you'd see at a pool (no vaping, no running, no pets, etc). The stipulation that one "must order an alcoholic beverage" was a bit strange, though I imagine that's to discourage people from just ordering a coffee and sitting there. After much thought, I honestly do feel that the "no kids" policy on their patio is a good call. As a dad to a 2yr old toddler, quiet breakfasts at home have become a thing of the past.... being able to enjoy a relaxing, uninterrupted meal without screaming, dealing with flying bits of food, or hearing incessant kids tunes in the background was wonderful. I cannot overstate how enjoyable our breakfast was.* TL;DR *From start to finish, dining here was a most egg-cellent choice.Without knowing the area too much, I would say this is the best place around Rockford to eat before noon. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere delightful, and the company simply ravishing (love you, honey!)Twenty million stars for Eggclusive Cafe. Would recommend to complete strangers on the street."

Karyn M. "Bright and cozy restaurant with limited tables. It was already busy when we entered early this morning and so we sat at the bar. We split some croissant beignets which came out hot and lightly sugar-dusted, with a crisp outer shell and chewy inside. These were nice and we dipped them in raspberry sauce. My biscuits and gravy Benedict was the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. A soft biscuit topped with a crisp tender sausage patty, perfectly poached egg and covered in delicious thick spicy gravy loaded with sausage chunks. This is the biscuits and gravy I'm looking for. It came with a side so I added on a berrylicious pancake (additional charge for pancake of the month) which was good, with a dollop of sweetened sauce and fresh berries. My companions enjoyed an egg breakfast with crisp hash browns, and a pretty avocado toast with a softball sized- burrata. The wait staff was very nice and the restaurant soon filled with lines of hungry people and they started a wait list. We enjoyed our breakfast and definitely would return! Also -- I checked in on Yelp and you can get a mimosa."

I ordered the egg white healthy omelette and subbed chicken sausage for mushrooms (for an up charge) with potatoes and a biscuit. The omelette was HUGE so great portion for the price. On par for what I expected. The potatoes were mostly nice and crispy, super tasty but really oily so I did blot them a bit with a napkin. The biscuit fell short, it was kinda dry and gummy, the jam helped but wouldn't get one again.Overall, for the price I felt it was worth it. Just would swap maybe try a different carb next time."

Gold chandeliers, beautiful paintings and a white marble lobby. So cool and even better with a restaurant like the Knick attached to it! Being close to the lake and Juneau park is a huge plus but the inside was awesome too! Cute St. Patrick's Day decorations and a beautiful bar sat right in the corner with a ton of indoor patio area to dine in! I got the crab cake Benedict and it was honestly the best decision I've ever made. The chipotle hollandaise sauce was so tangy and had a kick. The egg was perfectly runny and the crab cake was tender and had a nice crunch of celery and onions- wow. The breakfast potatoes were a hit too and I think it's pretty hard to have perfectly crispy and soft potatoes and they nailed it. Would definitely get this again! I also had the mint lemonade and when I say this was the most refreshing drink ever- it was! The polish sausage and eggs and the French toast looked amazing too! Our server was also so amazing! She made the experience that much better. Always keeping our waters filled, bringing our food on time and routinely checking in on us with a huge smile on her face. So great to see. Additionally, Delafield is an adorable small town--so, the charm level here is off the charts. Their menu is as locally sourced as possible and thus can change seasonally. They have a robust cocktail menu so on a recent trip here, my dining companion and I opted to start things off with some sips. I opted for the bourbon cognac old fashioned and my dining companion got the black manhattan. Both were stellar (I stole a sip). I had been unsure of the combination of bourbon and cognac--but that was entirely unwarranted. Their tenders know what they're doing and their mixology is on point. For my lunch, I opted for the chicken avocado salad. This salad was fresh and a lovely balance of greens, chicken, chevre, avocado, figs, and what appeared to be house made croutons--all drizzled with a champagne vinaigrette.
