Burnham Bowl

I come here every other month for the Burnham Bowl Comic Book Show. Yeah, it's dank and a bit smelly, but the burgers are top notch! The food prices are super cheap (5.25 for a cheeseburger and fries). Limited beer choices, but who cares?I've never bowled there but the lanes and machines look well kept and seem to run well. Whenever people are bowling they appear to be having a great time. The bowling side doesn't smell funky, that's just the back room where the comic book show is.

Great Local bowling alley. Delicious food and reasonable prices (on everything: food, bowling, & drinks) +Friday night karaoke.This alley is typically full with leagues so it might be a good idea to call in advance if your in the mood to bowl... Otherwise you will be stuck waiting for awhile, or you won't get a chance to bowl at all :(I've only tried a few items off the menu. I will rave all day everyday about they're Corn Nuggets! They come highly recommended by me!! :)My only complaint is you can't hear the jukebox very well if your bowling. The speakers are set up by the bar and eating area. I personally like listening to music while I bowl and socialize with friends. Hope they update they're sound system soon... Cause it stinks.

The bowling alley is old, true. I've read the other negative reviews that highlighted this. Hmmm...I didn't notice that the ceiling was crumbling, so maybe it was, so...as for the prices...they weren't the highest around. Just the opposite. The staff, the one time I was there, was very friendly. The lanes seemed fine to me. I'm not that up on lane conditions since I haven't bowled in years, but I do remember bowling on bad lanes, and these seemed fine by comparison. You do have to bring cash, but if that's your major complaint, I'd say, first world problem...My son and I really enjoyed ourselves, so I will be going back. In fact, that's why I'm here, writing this review. I was trying to find out their hours of operation.

The service we had was very good. The bartender was friendly, quick and helpful however, this building should be condemned. The ceiling inside horrifying. It is filthy and looks as if it could fall down at any point. The rental shoes are original from at least 1980. The lanes are bowed and in bad shape. It's old, dark, and dingy. I will not be returning to this establishment solely based on the conditions inside of the bowling alley.

need to up grade but ok the the south side area no credits cash only bull shit up grade!!! drinks ok but could be better....

This bowling alley is the worst in the area, the prices are outrageous, the alley itself is dirty, and the staff is mean and rude. The prices are higher than any bowling alley in the area. I clean my bowling ball after every time I bowl and I bowled there for three games and it took me ten minutes to clean my bowling ball and I used the recommended cleaner for the ball I have.
