Burger Town

It's a great looking restaurant... very colorful with a modern yet retro style. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Lots of items on the menu. Very enjoyable meal.

Went to Crusherfest in 2021 and on the way out of town - we saw this spot and knew we had to come back. Came to Crusherfest 2023 and when it was done - we walked down to Burger Town. The service was great. The young man was funny and helpful and quick on his feet. He got busy and forgot about my soft drink refill and was so earnestly sorry - that I felt bad. (He comped us a little ice cream cone. He is someone who truly understands customer service.)He was working by himself and had a few tables and carry-out service and he was still rocking and rolling and he was jovial and pleasant. The Balkan Burger was delicious. I honestly don't know what made it a Balkan Burger, but it was sooooo good. Fresh meat and a nice soft bun. The food was great. The service was great. If you are going to visit the Crusher statue - or do anything in South Milwaukee - get to Burger Town and enjoy an nice burger al fresco.We'll see them after Crusherfest 2024.

I have been looking at this place since it opened and I was not sure what to think because the menu is a little unique because it has American, Middle Eastern and Albanian food offerings It looks like. The place looks like it's new and clean with a small outdoor seating area in front and a nice bar area with tables and chairs.Even though the menu has interesting items the Gyro sandwich is a personal favorite because I like lamb so that's what I would try for $8.50. For $8.50 I wasn't expecting much form South Milwaukee because is pretty small and not exactly a foodie haven. I ordered take out because I'm still wired for that and I was surprised to smell French frys in my car before opened the box, nice they Gyro sandwich comes with frys which is a bonus for $8.50. The Gyro sandwich is not the gut buster like some places bit it's tightly wrapped and meatier than it looks once you unwrap it. Surprisingly the frys were good because they were hot/crispy/cooked to order that were thin and nicely seasoned. The gyro meat was tasty because you could taste the lamb so it's not the bland kind and it's also seasoned well. The sauce was a half full small cup which is not enough and it was average and I really wasn't getting the garlic flavor. The Gyro sandwich was on a nice thin pita that had a nice chew with tomatoes and rough chop onions.Overall the Gyro sandwich with frys was pretty good and a nice addition to South Milwaukee. I would definitely stop back for more of the menu.

I walked past this place countless times. Finally went today with my mother, absolutely delicious!!!! The prices are extremely fair. My mother is always a tough sell and luckily we came on fish Friday. She loved it, the fish is tender and cooked right and well seasoned. I got the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich. We also got a chocolate and a strawberry shake. Everything was very good. The waitstaff are fast and sweet. Everything is clean and wiped down frequently. I will definitely be returning because I went with every intention of trying a burger but the chicken called my name instead.

I ordered the Kufte Plate and my boys had cheeseburger kids meals. My food was delicious and very flavorful. The whipped kaymak was the best part and I kept dipping the fresh Lepin bread in it. My boys' burgers were surprisingly big and they enjoyed it very much. We took home a philly steak sandwich for my partner but he inhaled it before I could get a photo. We definitely will be back. The staff was great and very kind.

Delicious is an understatement!! The Balkan Burger is a top notch classic by them. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

Good spot. Mediterranean mainly... Not my favorite burger but it's not a bad place to get some really good food in my opinion!Maybe consider a different name for the restaurant but other than that, great find!

clean,diner setting. our food was completely delicious and the price was as good. husband and stopped in on our road trip. I would definitely return.

This restaurant is a real asset to South Milwaukee. If you're not adventurous you can have "American-style" burgers, but the Balkan menu items are as tasty as anything you'd get at one of Milwaukee's "near south side" Serbian establishments. My two favorite menu items are the Kefta Plate and the Kebab Plate, but I think that the Balkan Burger is pretty good too.Service is great - both for "take-out" orders, and for eating at the restaurant. In the summer this place has tables out on the sidewalk, which is well suited to customers like me who happen to be walking a dog while going to/from the restaurant.
