Date of visit: December 6, 2024We've driven past the Pleasant Prairie location a few times but as my husband isn't a roast/italian beef fan, we never stopped. But while meeting a friend near Lake Geneva, he suggested this place and we confirmed that the menu had chicken, decided to give it a try.The location appears quite new and has the bright, shiny feel about it that confirms that thought. Staff was overall friendly and welcoming, and I appreciated both the displayed menus and the kiosks for us newbies to get a feel for the food and the ordering.I went with the cheese beef and thought it was quite good. My only issue was there were a couple green peppers hidden in the sandwich--thankfully I caught them first, but this would have been a significantly lower-rated review if I hadn't! The fries were much better than I expected them to be given their appearance, which resembles Culver's, but I loathe the thick, mushy fries that Culver's serves; this is leaps and bounds superior to Culver's fries!I am a sucker for a milkshake and tried the peppermint because it is the current limited flavor. If you love candy canes, you will leave your spouse for this shake. If you're just so so on candy canes (like me), your marriage will be none the worse for this shake and you'll wish you tried the peanut butter instead.Only other issue here was when the food was brought out. Two staffers brought us an extra sandwich and both seemed inordinately confused about how that could have happened and what to do about it, making for an awkward 90 seconds of everyone looking at each other, both us and them, before we got out the receipt and confirmed that the three people in our party did not order four entrees.

Buona's menu surprised us! This restaurant makes it simple to order healthy options. I highly recommend their salad with extra chicken! The severs here were helpful and kind. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. This is definitely going to be a staple spot for us.

Delicious, fresh, made to order and LOADED!!! I'm keto, so this was ordered without the pasta and tortilla strips. Also subbed the house dressing for Caesar. Went through the drive thru, quick process and was ready at the window (vs having to park and wait). Friendly cashier. I think this is very close to my ultimate favorite Portillo's chopped salad, but way, way closer in distance for me. Will try more of their options! The protein bowl is next on my list of things to try.

Regular beef with sweet peppers and cheese. Good amount of bland beef. Small amount of cheese. Peppers cooked perfectly. Side of onion rings were good.Value = poor just under $18 for a meal

This is the "go to" place for Italian beef for years. Food is tasty and the staff is friendly. This is a brand, new location, just opened for a couple weeks. Not to mention immaculately clean. Not a big fan of the Rainbow Cone! I wish they would've put Pizza in this location. I've been to locations that have it. Seating inside and outside, and plenty of parking. Job well done.

I ordered a regular Italian beef with aujus. It was very spicy and shortly after eating I felt sick to my stomach. I will try a hot dog in the future, but won't go out of my way to eat there.

Food was very good but it took 10 min to get our food. A number of employees but it's slow. Will try again to see if this was isolated case. We were not the only ones waiting for order. Italian beef sand was really good though.

Appearance was good there were children yelling and screaming on and off but it was mostly clean and very well detailed and designed. There was loud music in the outdoor seating area.I got a Starry fountain drinks and it had little to no flavor and lots of carbonated water. Ordered a margarita pizza which tasted amazing. Confusing texture but great smell.Staff was polite and happy. They always made sure the costumer/costumers were satisfied and worked together to solve problems.
