I have wanted to check this place out. It was awesome. There was so much to look at I did an initial walk-through to see what they had proceeding back to the beginning to go pick up the items I want. there is a basket at the front door to hold. Your items would be much better next time for my shopping trip. There was so much stuff use from so many local farms supporting small businesses is fabulous. There's so many things I've never seen before different products they had meat dairy. They have homemade spices and salsa literally all kinds of stuff. I didn't get any meat this time but we got some cheese, some crackers, salsa chips I plan on getting some meat over a weekend one time to do some good cooking with staff was super friendly, easy and easy out.

Such a cool roadside stop for the family! I was surprised to see everything was perfectly merchandised...well done! Clean and sparkly is the way to go! After picking up an elderly relative in McHenry County, I was heading back to the city and needed to stop and stretch. This was a pleasant find!Michele was so helpful in explaining what the fresh and freshly frozen local beef, pork and chicken products were. Pricing for beef and chicken was no more expensive than a Omaha Steaks, Crowd Cow or Wild Forks selection. Support local producers in Northern Illinois and Southeast Wisconsin when you can! The Tomahawk Chops were delicious--first grilling of the Spring! The Breakfast Pork Patties were a big hit at Saturday's breakfast. I can't wait to throw down with some of the Bratwurst, Jalapeño Sausage, and other Wursts. I'll be the envy of the neighborhood grilling cadre! I've tried the worst of the 'wursts and the best of the beefs and this place scores way high on sausages, ground beef and prime cuts-- all excellent products. The Nate's Nectar honeys were all good...too difficult to pick 1 or 2! The meat sticks will be a great gift for my fellow carnivores, too! Egg prices were good and the money went direct to the family producers. Love to help keep the family farms in business. Local candy and ice cream will be a big hit this summer with families that are on the road and need to stretch their legs. The interior is well-stocked, neat and well maintained...layout is spacious and easy to social distance in. Service at the checkout and counter was friendly, informative and welcoming. Michele and company were great! Keep up the great customer service. The decor items and crafts like candles, tea towels and such are amazing. My wife would give my credit card a workout here! If you are looking for whole or half butchered and wrapped beef, this is the place. Call early in Spring and bring a couple of coolers to fill once your order is ready. Please try this place out and keep them in business...they've done their homework and made a nice experience for shoppers. Stop in, buy some locally made provisions, and tell manager Michele, a reviewer rom Yelp sent you their way. Bravo to Bull Valley Farms! Pack an empty cooler with ice...now, go and get your shopping on!

When I moved into Bull Valley, I was unsure if there was a place close enough to get quality meats or other essentials, like milk, eggs, cheese, ice cream, etc..I then found Bull Valley Farms. The store is quaint, upscale, & clean. It has amazing homemade items, and even gifts. They even have dog treats to purchase. The staff are so friendly, and I enjoy seeing them on my shopping runs. It is my go to place! Even if I moved, I would travel to shop here.
