Great service, fun atmosphere, fair prices! We went to the pumpkin farm a few weeks ago. We arrived at 4:30 pm only to find out they closed at 5pm instead of 7 pm as the Google listing showed. The person working the stand was so friendly and accommodating. She said we were still welcome to walk around and try everything out, so we did.It was pouring rain and we ran around to all the activities - the pedal cart track, the corn maze, pumpkins bowling, the fishing pool, tic-tac-toe, and the lasso challenge - in 30 minutes and had a blast. We were the only ones there and it was way worth the $4 entry fee. We also bought some pumpkins on the way out.We appreciate the fun experience and the great attitude of the woman working the stand. We will definitely return another year!*The Pumpkin farm is opened until 5 pm and then there are night festivities starting at 7pm.

Our favorite place to get a tree each year. We usually go the weekend after Thanksgiving and have always been able to find something (though this year we settled for something much smaller, and still somehow more expensive than last year). Buffalo Bill's offers the option to explore and cut your own tree, or grab a pre-cut tree from a display area. They provide saws and sleds for cutting things down and transporting them, and the shaker which gets rid of all the loose needles, and they tie the tree up nicely. Workers are always super friendly (is it possible to be cranky when you work at a Christmas tree farm?). I love that you can walk around so many different areas of the farm and take photos and explore the trees. They have a small fire pit for warming up, and some playground equipment for the kids. There are tons of Christmas-y inflatables and cut-outs, and Santa is usually there. Lots of photo opportunities! In the trailer kids can grab cookies & hot cocoa or cider and also make a pinecone + glitter ornament. We skipped that part this year because of COVID and how crowded it was, but we've always enjoyed that in years past. You can also get natural wreaths and other greenery, and sometimes they've got fundraisers going on with food for sale like brats and such. We're regulars and will be back again next year!

I grew up chopping down my Christmas tree every holiday season with my family, but hadn't done it since I moved away to college, so I was really excited when I heard that Milwaukee had a tree farm where you could cut your own. I told Geoff that the one thing I wanted to do this holiday season was cut our own tree, so we packed up the car and headed to Buffalo Bill's. Just down the street from where Geoff grew up, he had no idea that this hidden gem of a tree farm even existed. It's incredibly easy to find and on a December Saturday it was buzzing, but not obnoxiously packed. As you walk from the parking lot (they have a special lot for trailers) to the entrance area there are greeters who will show you a map of the property and what varietal tree is located in which area as well as reivew the pricing with you. Santa was also there passing out candy canes to the kiddos! Pups are welcome as long as they're on leash, which we loved!! Next, grab a saw and a plastic sled (never seen this method before, but dragging out the tree on the sled seemed to work well!) and head out to find your tree. The property is well sized and there is signage explaining which trees are in which areas. Many of the trees are tagged with specific pricing, but be mindful of knowing how much $$ if it is not tagged. We walked the property, enjoying the fresh air and searching for our perfect tree. At this time of year it is muddy and a bit slippery in places, so wear appropriate shoes!Once we found our tree LumberGeoff chopped it down and hauled it back to the main entrance. There's an area where tree farm workers will shake and bale (wrap up nice and tight for transport) your tree free of charge (but tips appreciated). They give you a ticket to take up into the trailers to pay. The trailers also have a selection of ornaments for sale as well as local honey from bee hives on the property. Of course we got a bottle of that goodness! $5 for the smaller squeeze bottle. Snacks are for sale while hot chocolate and dog biscuits are complimentary. Tree cost is similar to what we would pay in California- pricy but you are also chopping down a living tree that is going to need to be replanted and grown for years before it's ready for harvest. BUT they do have "sale" lots where trees were tagged at $65 (the rest seemed to range $85+). They do say, you pay for what you get, and we got a beautiful, fresh tree. All in all, if we're still in Milwaukee next Christmas you bet your bottom we'll be back to Buffalo Bills for our tree! Happy Holidays!

Great place to get your tree! They also allow leashes pets which is great. We are always happy with what we get when coming to Buffalo Bills!

I didn't even know this place existed! I've been driving too far for a cut-your-own tree when it was right here, near the south side all along! First-off, my kids loved the free hot chocolate (I preferred the hot cider) and the cookies too! The completely affordable grilled brats smelled great, but we had just eaten! The fire pit was a great spot to hang out and keep warm after saying hello to the animals. The staff were each very friendly and helpful! Thank you and keep that up! They offer saws (mine was sharp, thankful for that) and sleds to drag your tree - oh, and twine to tie down. There is shaking and wrapping available. Bring cash. I brought credit, which is fine, but make sure you have all you want when you check out because there is a $3 service fee for using a card. No biggie, I was just glad they were able to take credit. The selection was ok for blue spruce, our preference. Most of them were huge, but in between those we found some decent-sized ones for our 8ft ceilings. If you need just a nice smaller tree, the fresh-cut trees to the right of the office were great and nicely priced. They have a "discount lot" too (go to the right of the office as well), but we walked the other direction and ended up finding our spruce in the area directly behind the office and animals. The fresh wreaths were beautiful, a bit priced for my liking, yet still tempting. All-in-all, I was impressed and we will be back. New place for an old tradition!

Nice atmosphere and close to home. More than twice what we have paid in the past for the same type and size of tree at other tree farms. We didn't read the fine print on the price list before we went out. 140$ for an average balsam!

When we lived in Franklin we use to go to Buffalo Bill's for our Christmas tree's. It is such a Nostalgic experience,we enjoyed it greatly. 1 year we got a nice beautiful Frazier Fur and had it up for over a month. Matter a fact, the tree started growing branches and pine cones and I refused to take it down till the end of January (2008/2009). Living further away, we've decided to come back this year (2022) just to relive those wonderful memories. Hope we get one that grows again

Beautiful trees, even late in the season. Family run business. Had precut and cut-your-own trees. Very fresh! Good trees in all price ranges. Had saws and sleds to cut your own tree. Would have done that but was with older mother and icy grounds, not a good idea. Hot chocolate, cookies, make your own pine cone ornaments for the kids. Very friendly & helpful. Will definitely go back next year.
