Buddy's Meat Market

Once again, my husband decided to have burgers. So of course we're going to go to our favorite meat market! Because it's winter we decided to make them inside on a griddle. They were so delicious!

Love this place! A great little neighborhood meat market! I particularly like their chicken wings. Not the jumbo wings with excessive amounts of skin. Perfect for making in my air fryer! They are very friendly and have gone out of their way to get me what I want. Highly recommend this place!

I usually go to Whole Foods to get my meat because it has the humanely raised standards. However I also like to support local businesses and this meat market has the best selections that are the freshest most delicious meat that you will find anywhere in Bayview area. They are also very happy to answer any questions or order any special cuts of meat that you may need. I highly recommend this place to anyone!

This is a little gem, first place that I've found since moving here that I can find oxtail. I was so happy when I realize they were open on a Sunday and I found exactly what I was looking for to make dinner Tuesday. Yes I'm a bit early however it's hard to look for ingredients after work with little time to do so. We were greeted right after entering the store which was a plus, I will be going back for more meat

I live on the Upper Eastside, near the university and in the neighbourhood of a well known grocer (who is rather good, I must say), but Buddy's is my go-to shop for consistently high quality meats.This weekend I am having a dinner party and wanted the best tenderloins, so I stopped by. The shop was not yet open and as I turned to walk away, the door was opened (Buddy?) and I was invited in. Got some beauties and cannot wait to grill them off! Outstanding quality and service. Worth every penny

This place rules! I have regularly shopped here for all of my smoking needs. The quality of meat is top notch! If they don't have the size cut you need they have either: gone to the back and cut it for your or ordered it very quickly. They are even great for holiday hams or large gathering meats cooked in the oven as well.

A tremendous local butcher with great customer service. If they don't have it in the store, give them a call or talk to their friendly workers and they'll make sure to order it in ASAP. I only get my briskets from Buddy's.

I drove buy and saw buddy's meat market so I did a u turn because you never know what you will find in the neighborhood places. There was some good looking fresh meats there along with a freezer full of various items. I saw the house brand snack stycks and I grabbed one. This is no slim Jim and was good with a slightly hot after taste. I'm glad I stopped because I never would have had them. This is a nice neighborhood place. I was on my way to something else so this is not in my regular travels but if I find near by again I will stop.

I should have written this a LOOOONG time ago!Scott , Aka " Buddy " has been my family's favorite purveyor of fresh meat and sausages since he's opened up shop. With prices comparable to sales at the big grocers, you always get a deal. Call him up, tell him how thick you want your delicious Rib Eye and go get it, Tiger. He also makes beef sticks and really awesome beef jerky. The latter being my favorite, anywhere, because it still has a bit of moisture to it. He now carries Pepi's frozen pizza. I don't know how often but my mom gave me one last night and it was deeelish. Well cleaned, trimmed, fresh poultry is also his specialty. You can trust him. Shop there. * get your fresh turkey here for the holidays-- he's less expensive than anywhere I've checked- but call first *

This is one of my favorite meat stores and in my neighborhood. The folks are awesome and meat is of so good quality. I even have the attendant pick out my filets for me. The sirloin tips in gravy along with the taco containers are awesome. Give them a try you'll be back
