I've been here numerous times before but I'm posting because I couldn't find any photos of their brunch menu on Yelp. I was hoping to preview before I ordered.I got "The Cure" - everything bagel with a fried egg, very thick bacon, and pepper jack. The bacon is super thick, almost like pork belly (which i love). The sandwich was delicious but it's huge. Hashbrowns cooked to perfection. Mimosa flight was great as well (very sweet, like candy). My wife likes less sweetness in her drinks and thin crispy bacon, so our experiences were different. But if you're like me it's great.

I've visited Monona Buck & Honey's a few times now. Service is always pretty good. There were 12 or so of us in the 1 or 2 servers checking on us regularly who brought drinks and food quickly.A charcuterie platter was out when we arrived. We had a meeting in the hidden room in the basement. There was a large monitor our hosts were able to project the meeting information on.

Beautiful location. Beautiful interior. Beautiful cocktail list.Not so beautiful service. Solo woman traveler on a work trip, came in for an NA beer and a bite to eat. I was under dressed compared to the clientele, but it was clear to the staff I wasn't worth their time. Bartender kinda laughed at me and just kinda curbed me the entire time. I did have my air pods in while I ate and then politely took them out after I finished my meal to TRY and discuss my check. I needed the check split for company reimbursements. I had my two cards in front of me.Bartender just took the one AFTER CLEARLY TOUCHING THE OTHER ONE. Turned around so fast to swipe I didn't stand a chance. Came back with the receipt to sign and didn't even leave the itemized. I guess Im just out of luck. It would have been a visible inconvenience to even stick around and try and ask considering the service I received showed he didn't care. Didn't even tell me to have a nice night, the hostess did though.The menu was creative, lots of options. My food was "okay." I'll blame myself for my lame choices, but over all the entire experience was bad. I travel to Monona often and I won't go back or recommend this location. Maybe if I was still in my work entire and not a t-shirt it would have worked out better for me? Either way, I left feeling like I just didn't belong there and now I have to explain my bill to my boss, great... I went out for a dinner before a meeting FOR WORK and now I have MORE WORK. Grabbed dinner with my bestie and enjoyed the meatloaf! So flavorful and the glazed carrots were delish. Service was good and the place was packed even on a week night when we went. Wonderful location with a gorgeous interior. Parking can be difficult but they have an overflow lot off to the back/side. The wait can get long but you can make a reservation online to save time when you arrive. Our meal arrived accurately and the timing between apps, main, and dessert was ideal.

Back again! I'm from out of town, but this stop is a must for me when I visit my sister. I typically get the bang bang shrimp since it is the best I've ever had. I asked for that to be turned into a salad. Tried their French onion soup this time - excellent! Not overly salty and they serve a lot of onions and cheese in it. No complaints ever. Their servers are always very friendly and down to earth.

We're in town a for a couple podcast live recording shows and decided to eat dinner near our hotel. This place looked neat. Upon entering, there were 4 groups of people in line ahead of us with more starting to line up behind us. I was nervous that there'd be a long wait. The hostess got us in right away. This place is massive with indoor seating and outdoor seating. They have a cool bar area too.You could feel how busy the place was but everyone seemed happy and on top of what they were doing. I ordered the veggie centricity and it was amazing! I would eat way more veggies if I could prepare them how they did. Cauliflower mashed, Brussel sprouts, additional cauliflower all so good. I love the fried polenta. My boyfriend liked his stuffed chicken. The sauce was really good.This place looks to be a Madison maybe Dane county chain so if I am near one again, I'd for sure come back.

I was in town for work and had some locals recommend Buck and Honey's. Very cute interior and a nice patio to sit outside.I ordered a hibiscus martini to start and cheese curds. The cheese curds themselves were a little disappointing, and the martini was fairly strong. However, for dinner, I had the salmon and mashed potatoes. This was very good. The salmon came on its own wood plank and the sauce paired nicely with both. They had a lot of different options and I would come back if I was in town again

Really great food! Honestly never disappointed by the service, quality of food, or general atmosphere. I will say, it is a little pricey, but reasonable for what you're getting (and you can always look up their menu beforehand). Their espresso martini is my favorite because of the picture printer!! Picture included on my cute pandas!

Do not tip the bartenders! I was there for a special event in the basement area. The bartenders kept charging us different prices for the same drinks and each time they would add 20% tip to each total. So for each round we put on our bar tab, there was a 20% tip. THEN! The bartender added a 20% tip on the WHOLE bill. They tipped onto of each tip they added for each round. There was no sign up that they were charging 20% tip per round/order. Or that there was tip included. Completely robbed us. We didn't notice until we actually looked at our receipt the next day. I should have asked for a breakdown of the cost each time I ordered a round. I will not go back here again or any other location. They stole enough of my money. And if I have to go for an event again, I will not be tipping and will be asking for a breakdown of the cost each time.
