Bubble tea lab

This is a fun location with great staff. The drinks are always delicious, and the price is perfect for what you get. During the winter, they have a fireplace playing on the big tv. It's quite cozy.

The set up of Bubble Tea Lab is an introvert's dream! Upon entering the store was completely silent. It has a great vibe and feel of being a lab. The decor is very cute with lots of writing on the walls, a touch of modern with the monitors, and the multiple self serve kiosks. A very fun looking place for people to hang out. They also offer sunglasses, toys and stickers for purchase. However, we were a bit disappointed with the drinks themselves. The papaya smoothie and mango smoothie were overly sweet and we could taste the powder. My little one complained about the texture and taste, and didn't drink more than a couple of sips. Initially when I tasted my Thai latte there was a chocolate taste to it? I had thought they had messed up my order - but when you need an afternoon coffee fix who really cares :) In any case after getting further down I could taste the Thai powder in the mix. The service itself is quick, the size of the drink is definitely a true 'large'. I was really hoping to like this place because it's pretty easy to get too off the highway. It might be good for people who enjoy super sweet smoothies.

I forgot to take a picture of the drink I got lol but it was so good!! I ended up getting a raspberry tea I think with the blueberry pops. It was the best combo, I highly recommend! The inside is nicely decorated and the service was great.

Bubble tea labs is the best brown sugar I've had in lake county. The milk tea is so smooth and doesn't leave a residue behind. When I went there was one person in the back making the drinks and everyone used the self kiosks. It's cool because if you know exactly what you want, it's a quick way to get in and out. If people have questions, there is a regular register for the newbies lol The decor inside bubble tea labs is so cool. They have trendy decor, multiple tv to make a gigantic tv, a white board for anyone to draw or leave a note, and I absolutely love the umbrellas on the ceiling. The service is really quick. Such a great touch for the whole experience, will definitely be back again.

Super cute decor, I love the umbrella on the ceiling. The drink menu is easy to navigate, clean and organized. You self serve order and pay on the kiosk at the front. The pina colada we got was creamier than I expected, but tastes very good otherwise, not too sweet or too sour. Even after a 30 min car ride, the drink did not separate into layers, which does happen with many smoothies. Only thing is that this pina colada is not dairy free, which is probably why it's so deliciously creamy. There are two other locations. I look forward to trying these ones next: sesame, honeydew, lychee, and plain yogurt ones.

Great boba so many flavors and options. They have bowls too. Cute decor inside too. Service is quick but not personable, we were not greeted or thanked but overall enjoyed my time here.

I was no impressed. The guy at the counter was extremely rude and we were the only customers in there. The vibe was not there. The drinks were ok but not worth what we paid for.

Friendly and drinks are amazing. Pretty quick with service as well. They have a white board to draw on as well. Very cute with anime stickers everywhere

The service is fast, smoothie is good. The environment is very relaxing and music isn't too. The only downfall is there is no public restroom.

We came in.....my 12 year old saw handwriting on the wall. Thought it was okay to write on the wall. Nate.....yells at my son in front of other customers. A grown man in his 30s thinking he can yell at kids. My kid didn't know. There's ways to approach customers. And if you want kids to respect you, respect them.So we went to Boba Lab on 1757 N Milwaukee AveLibertyville, IL and the woman was amazing and super nice and made us the most amazing boba tea and she treated me and my children so kindly even though they messed up.
