Great Spot for a Quick and Delicious Brunch!I visited Brunch It Up while in town and had a great experience. It was past noon on a Thursday, and I was happy they were still open. I easily got a seat at the diner-style bar and ordered the chorizo omelette with hash browns and it was delicious! The staff was super friendly, and the service was quick. It's a perfect spot for a quick and tasty brunch, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!

We were interested in Brunch It Up because it is well reviewed, but to our surprise, it just wasn't good at all. Walking into this place felt like we weren't supposed to be there. It was almost completely empty and felt like a run down daycare with the bright color scheme and bright lighting. When we walked in we weren't greeted and were just told to sit wherever. This poor service continued through our stay, with barely a word coming from our server. One of the few times she spoke to us was to ask if I really wanted what I ordered because it wasn't showing up on the system she was ringing me up on, but if I really wanted it she could check with the kitchen. This just felt off-putting, like I was inconveniencing her.We ended up ordering a southern hash, benedict, and a single pancake. The hash ended up being very, very bland. It was completely unseasoned. The table salt, pepper, and cholula could only do so much and I didn't end up eating more than half of it. The benedict eggs were cooked almost completely through like a hard boiled egg. The syrup with the pancake was very clearly the cheapest they could get and wasn't enjoyable.Overall this experience was lackluster and left us dissatisfied, wondering how it could be well rated.

Wow. I hope they have a better chef on the weekends. I decided to treat myself and get a decadent breakfast. The joke was on me. My comments are in the parentheses of their description:(Anybody from the) Southern (portion of the US would be embarrassed to have this meal associated with them) Hash(Un)Crispy hash browns topped with thick (and freakishly dry) pork belly (you know when you get a new sponge and there is very little moisture in it? Those are much more moist than this pork belly), roasted peppers, red onions, cherry tomatoes, (un)roasted jalapeño, (where are the dried or) fresh herbs(?), and two eggs cooked your way.I sent the coffee back because it tasted burnt. After that, I felt like a complete douche and didn't send back the food. Just, wow. But the server was nice!

Scrambled eggs with Swiss cheese. And chorizo poutine. It is very good. Just a lot of fried food but that's too be expected with this dish. Cheese curds are lightly fried and they are very good but I think they might have been better on this dish just as regular, not fried. Friendly staff, nice location (near offices like 5/3) and pretty space. Plus seating upstairs.

Bright and cozy restaurant with limited tables. It was already busy when we entered early this morning and so we sat at the bar. We split some croissant beignets which came out hot and lightly sugar-dusted, with a crisp outer shell and chewy inside. These were nice and we dipped them in raspberry sauce. My biscuits and gravy Benedict was the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. A soft biscuit topped with a crisp tender sausage patty, perfectly poached egg and covered in delicious thick spicy gravy loaded with sausage chunks. This is the biscuits and gravy I'm looking for. It came with a side so I added on a berrylicious pancake (additional charge for pancake of the month) which was good, with a dollop of sweetened sauce and fresh berries. My companions enjoyed an egg breakfast with crisp hash browns, and a pretty avocado toast with a softball sized- burrata. The wait staff was very nice and the restaurant soon filled with lines of hungry people and they started a wait list. We enjoyed our breakfast and definitely would return! Also -- I checked in on Yelp and you can get a mimosa.

We're here for a quick bite to eat with the family for brunch. It was a beautiful atmosphere. It wasn't a lot of people working so it took us a while to have a seat but when we sat down quick to wait on us appetizers, but they were nice to us they came after. Do not recommend the peas cause there was no powdered sugar on it whatsoever, all the food was really seasoned to perfection. My mom never got her meal either. I still gave it a five because the food was good and it was a really nice atmosphere mistakes happen. I'm not gonna fault the business for it.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast before heading out of town and I don't really get some of the lower reviews.Granted it was fairly early in the morning (just after opening) and we were the only two in here... The space is really cool; neatly laid out, cozy and unpretentious. The service was quick and our server was very friendly and attentive. Sometimes service can be poor and slow when it's dead, but nothing to complain about here!I had the lemonberry pancakes and they were AMAZING! The pancakes themselves were light and fluffy and the toppings were very fresh tasing and complemented each other very well.I can't speak for how it is here as it gets busier, but for a quick breakfast, it was great!

Another local MKE favorite. Food are great, staff are courteous food comes fresh out of the kitchen . Reservation is a must especially for weekend brunch otherwise you'll ended up waiting up to 45mins getting a table.

Brunch It Up Was Okay. I Heard That This Place Was One Of The Best Brunches In Milwaukee So Myself And Few Colleagues Decided To Pop In On A Saturday Morning. The Vibe Was Chill And Very Casual. The Restaurant Was Fairly Empty, So To Me, That Wasn't A Great Sign For A Brunch Restaurant. The Service However Was Really Good, The Servers Were Kind And Attentive. I Was Truly Disappointed By My Food Though. My Turkey Sausage And Lemon Berry Pancake Was Pretty Good But My Eggs, We're Severely Overcooked Lacking Both Moisture And Flavor. For $19 I Felt Like I Overpaid For A Subpar Meal. Although The Service Was Fine, I Wouldn't Come Back To Brunch It Up Just Based On The Food Quality.

I was walking around town on a Sunday looking for, well, brunch. I searched online and perused Brunch It Up's menu, then joined their live waitlist, which feels less intimidating than "making reservations" somehow. I was by myself and I moved up the line fast. I wound up seated at the bar which is fine by me.I was hungry and I knew I wanted my own French press of coffee. The beans were from Valentine. I'm normally more of a savory breakfast person but I succumbed to the temptation of the chocolate churro pancakes. They were appropriately decadent and filling. There were a few service pileups here and there but the bar was a nice place to sit and enjoy my coffee. I would return for food and people watching.
