The Breaking Bread location in Cary has delivered consistent service and incredibly tasty food in all the years I've been going. While I have my menu favorites, I regularly try new items (the menu is surprisingly large), and I've honestly never been disappointed. The homemade chips and dill dip just can't be beat. (That is a menu item I always order!)We recently had them cater some baked potatoes for my company's work party. (We provided our own toppings, but needed someone local to provide the baked potatoes.) Teri was super easy to work with and quick in responding to my email questions. The baked potatoes were perfectly done on time and they were huge!Whether for an individual meal or for catering, you can't go wrong with Breaking Bread!

A very good sandwich shop, small inside with limited seating. They make some creative twists on sandwiches, as well as most standard fare. My favorite item on the menu is the home chips with dill sauce. Get them every time I order from here.I can personally vouch for the turkey blt, the tuna salad sandwich, the chicken Parm, the Italian, and the Hometown Roast Beef w/ horseradish sauce. All of these are great, and I've ordered each several times . My wife's fave is the loaded grilled cheese.I've tried the chili, the fried chicken (deli sliced, a unique take) and bacon, the Cuban, the Reuben, and their burgers. All items good, but not as much my personal taste as the first list.As you can see, I've been going here for a few years, so I suppose I vouch for Breaking Bread.

I have eaten here several times and really enjoy the food. We also had some catering a couiple times and they do a top knotch job. I highly recommend this resturant and it is family owned and nice to see that they are succeding.

I was recommended of trying breaking bread catering company by a friend.AmbianceIt is kind of hard to comment on the ambience since I have only had takeout and have not got the experience of sitting and dining in. It seems pretty cozy though. The lighting is good. ServiceI thought it was good. It is hard to comment since I ordered through the phone but everyone seems to be happy there and they also are friendly. FoodI like the food. I ordered 2x now. The first time, I got the tuna melt sandwich. The sandwich had a nice flavor and I enjoyed that it wasn't overpowered by any one of the primary flavors that usually happens (I.e. strong tuna flavor, strong celery flavor, strong mayo flavor) on other tuna salad sandwiches I have. The balance was a pleasant surprise. I also had their fried Mac n cheese bites on my 1st order. I enjoyed them to the point of when I took my picture I had eaten most of them. Coating was crispy and had a creamy filing. I think it came with a dipping sauce but they really did not make it to my house.My second time I went there, I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich. I did enjoy the sandwich, but not as much as the tuna melt... The roll it was served on was really good. Had a nice crispness to it. The sauce was okay, it just tasted like hot sauce. I think if the chicken was fried, it might have contributed a crunchiness. But I they did not go with a crispy because the sauce could have made the chicken soggy. I ordered a side of home made chips. It look like it came with some dipping sauce. It was okay but the chips were definitely the star of the meal.They were properly seasoned and had a nice crisp to them.PriceThe price is a little steep for a sandwich.OverallI would definitely order from breaking bread. The food was good and it also helps a local business during this pandemic. Home made chips is definitely something to try. They do have a good challenge but I think I am past my prime to try it.Support local business and stay safe!

First off, I have never been so quick to jump on here and leave this review. I just swung by on my lunch and ordered a Cuban and the cheese curds to go. The two gentlemen working were super nice and polite. The place was very clean and welcoming. I quickly got my food and went back to the office to eat. This is where I was absolutely blown away. The Cuban was incredible. Cooked perfectly and delicious. And the cheese curds?? Best I've ever had in my life. Easily. And I'm a dude who has grown up in the Midwest and have had thousands and thousands of cheese curds in my time, these are top notch. Extremely flavorful and incredible. Haven't had that much of an enjoyable lunch in awhile. Just wanted to give credit where credits due. This place is excellent, check it out and tell your friends. Sorry, I ate the food so fast that I couldn't get any pictures. I'll be back!!
