Brady Street Festival 2022 was back and people were out with a vengeance. I was in New Orleans this past spring, and I don't think Bourbon Street on a Saturday night holds a candle to the frenetic drunk energy on Saturday night at Brady Street Festival, actually. Pros- One of the most diverse festivals in Milwaukee, good food vendors, good music lineups, good artisan vendorsCons- Overly Crowded, sprawling, a drunk fest with music (as an aside?), a surcharge on credit cards at Festival drink tents, people getting overserved Dryhootch Veterans house had a great R&B Veterans band, good food- Nomad staff were working hard and had a great party out back, as well. The main music stages have good local acts in a variety of styles, such as Negative Positive, Browns Crew, GuhGuhGoldDuhDuh (haha) throughout the day.I got some great tacos, and Elotes Mexican Street Corn. There is a lot of good food vendors here. Brady Street Festival is really great for the bars on Brady- as they set up shop w/slushies, liquor drinks, Mai Tais and the like, and the bars are bustling. But aye, there's the rub- our crowd of music dancers and watchers of De La Buena got physically plowed by people who by 7pm were already...plowed! Of course Brady Street Festival is 100% Brady Street, glad to have you back.

First time going to The Brady Street Festival it was a good experience. Went with my daughter and my grandson. Well I wanted to eat some of their food but my daughter said another time, Iwanted some of the waffle fries that was in one of the stands. I had great people saying hi to me, got along fine with some people there. Got a free shirt but just walking by a shirt stand. Thank you, at least they was nice.Maybe if they have the Festival again for next year I'll be there ready for anything and eat the food, have more fun. Stay a bit longer. Love that they had bikers doing great stunts and the guys that with the drums doing stepping music. Took a pic of The Godfathers picture they had outside a restaurant. Thank you.

This is the mother of all block parties! Not only do I love Brady St. but I really dig the Brady Street Festival. The entire section of Brady is shut down to all vehicles and only foot traffic abounds. If you go during the day you get to see a plethora of shows. Live entertainment abounds and at night the entertainment gets even better because most of the people running around are inebriated pretty heavily. You really realize it's summertime when this festival goes down. Lot's to eat, lot's to see and so much to do. This is one of those festivals that makes you realize what Milwaukee is all about Good times! Tip. If you can Uber, bus or walk in it's probably best because parking can be a bear. You will wind up walking from way back anyways cause you have to park on the true outskirts of the Brady St. area. Either way get there and have fun!

Running into people from past lives....eating tacos from a bag....trying to decide which of two awesome stages you're going to watch...trying out new restaurants/bars on Brady st. cuz theyll always seem to have their preview/make their debut at the fest.I still have yet to see the camel. It's still just as fun as the first time I went. It's not like summerfest or Bastille Days...this is truly a street festival--like a more concentrated locust street days. You've got about 9 blocks and 12 hours to get everything in.Seriously, why can't the street be like this every weekend? or at least once a month in summer. I'm so all about that.PS Walk, bike, bublr, uber, lyft, cab, bus.....especially if you're coming later in the night--there's very few parking lots around Brady st.

This was my first time attending. It was nice to have the entire street blocked off, and to just look at some of the restaurants menu while walking around. There were a lot of deals going on for drinks and there were a lot of people out. I didn't get to enjoy the food however I enjoyed everything else including the Henna and the wrestling in front of Casablanca. Not to mention the ramp bike was fun and to see the kids so small doing stunts was fun.

Great setting for a block party that celebrates the character/s of Brady st. Plenty to do. With all types of music, dancing , performance. What a surprise to run into 14 friends of which 4 were Yelpers.. SO to Gary, Mike, Rachel, Vlad. I enjoyed watching the jumping ramp bikes. Got a great exercise walking to all the stages. Great people watching. I did not see lizard guy or bird guy. Boo. Bosley's did a BBQ with brats dogs and burgers was my fave. Also popular was roasted corn, Wisconsin grilled cheese and fried cheese curds. They always had long lines.I did see all kinds of dogs, but I did not see any corn dogs. Boo! FYI I managed to avoid stepping on sidewalk poop! Shame on the Bad bad dog owner! Who didn't pick up. And speaking of poop the Rest rooms were spaced out pretty good and lines were not too long. Overall a great time.F 4A 5S 3L 4V 4

The porta-potties were clean and vomit-free.Lots of dogs, which I admit were pretty cute.I got to drink some giant mai-tais!Played Yelp host all afternoon for miss Rachel F. People love that giant jenga! Had a few crowds throughout the day cheering players on.In my opinion, the vendors at Brady Street Fest are better than most other street fests. Lots of cool stuff, and great food.

All music at all of the Brady Street Day 2022 stages was above the decibel level at which ear protection is needed. The music volume was just not enjoyable. Our group left early because of it.
