We stopped by Boscos on a Friday night for a drink and to check the place out. Its right in downtown Waukesha with a retro look on the outside. The inside is moody with dog details every where, some places to sit, and a little dog area. The bar area has a slight smell of dog, that is to be expected. There is a large patio outside with games and more places to site, great for a sunny and warm day. The staff is friendly and the prices are good There is pizza to order and popcorn to snack on. There wasn't too many dogs there, maybe it picks up in the summer. I wish it was a little lighter inside, it felt like this type of place would be a little brighter it was hard to see around.

I had more fun than I've had in a long time at Boscos. As a matter of fact, I had an extraordinary time. I met some good peoples, and everybody was just as chill as can be. The bar staff was solid and just the overall atmosphere made for a superb night. It was one of them special nights made even more special hanging with the Boscos crew. We were hanging in the Sha at Friday Night Live and our last stop and party central accommodations was Boscos Social Club!Inside setup is a small club area. DJ was spinning a solid selection of late 80s, early 90s up to 2000s tunes. To say they were jamming is an understatement. Almost felt like I was back in my early 20s heyday! Going from the club to the chill spot is a large back area that is dog friendly and has two sets of bag areas with drink holders to boot! We threw down and kicked some ass, multiple teams to boot on the bags. It was a real hoot of a time overall and if your in for fun I definitely recommend hitting up Boscos Social for the experience!

tl;dr a dog friendly bar with a patio larger than the bar itself, slinging cheap drinks, free popcorn, and bags.Boscos is one of the few places I frequent where it remains consistent. Consistent in service, consistent in price, and consistent in environment. It's nice going to a place and always knowing you're going to have a good time. It may not be 100% perfect, but you'll never leave disappointed. The huge patio is what makes Boscos special. Two full length back to back bags/corn hole spaces make up one side and the rest is covered seating with heaters, TVs, and always gorgeous hanging baskets of flowers. There's also a dart board in the back of the patio. This place is usually my jam for playing bags on the patio while watching a game, with full sound even. Bags is free to play, you just have to hand over your ID to check them out. There are always drink specials here, making this easy on your pocket. There's not much for food besides Emil's pizza, but they do have free popcorn. The popcorn always has that ever so slightly burnt yet I can't stop devouring it flavor.Night life includes karaoke, DJs, acoustic jams and more and make note it does get crowded late on Fridays/Saturdays with a college crowd. Oh, do yourself a favor and checkout the claw machine. Let's just say it is filled with some *wink* surprises. Hope to see you here at Boscos!

I stopped in Boscos Social Club for the first time last month. I was told it was one of the few offerings for gay men in Waukesha. The bar was packed, it was difficult to order a drink, and after I finally got a watered down cosmo I couldn't find a gay man for the life of me. I don't know what all the hype was about? Seemed just like a normal Midwest dive bar to me.

The decor at Boscos was fairly nondescript with lots of black and tan, and on a Sunday afternoon it was all in all a nice place to toss back a couple of brews. They had about a dozen beers on tap and were running a $2 draft special and $5 bloody special. The bartender Brandon was welcoming and also offered us a basket of free popcorn. The bar stools were somewhat worn but comfy, and there was table seating as well.As others have mentioned, Boscos is dog friendly and during the hour we were there three dogs made an appearance. They had a dartboard, a crane, a pull tab machine and an ATM, plus several TVs for your gaming and cash needs.

Yesterday was my first time at Boscos and we were in for happy hour/pre-dinner celebratory drinks from about 5pm-8pm. When I showed up our group had already snagged the big window table and drinks were already flowing and baskets of popcorn on the table. It wasn't crowded, the bartender was very friendly and drinks were made quickly. We miscommunicated once about a drink having a lemon slice vs. lemonade and she kept insisting on making another and correcting it, which was very nice. As we started accumulating glasses another gentleman came out and offered to clear out what was empty. Points for good service. While there were no dogs around during the time that we were there, I love love love the fact that they are a doggie-friendly establishment. As we were leaving a DJ was setting up in the back and the strobe lights were coming on, so I have a feeling this place gets pretty rowdy on a Friday night. I'm really, really not a fan of dark, dive/sports bars, but I was surprised with my experience here. And their winter theme decorations really classed the place up.

The vibes were cute. It wasn't too crowded. There are dogs. Tap beer is pretty cheapCheap beer did taste a bit bottom of the barrel. We had a Spotted Cow and a Blue Moon. Both tasted... off. The women's bathroom looks like Home Goods vomited their discount section on to the walls. Not gonna lie I was in to it but in a ironic hipster way. Anyway, I would come back here. Maybe just don't get a tap beer.

Love this bar. Great (inexpensive) drinks, tvs for sports, outdoor heated patio, and very clean. Bartenders are friendly but not stalkers. And it's dog friendly. And they serve popcorn! You have to stop here or youre missing out.
