Had a fun time with the grandkids who played in a large sandbox filled with corn, traversed a small maze and played in their activity center. Visited the farm animals and made their own caramel apples. On a past visit we did the corn maze and got lost a while so passed this visit. We had a nice lunch in their cafe area with a variety of wraps, sandwiches, soups, and salads. The food was delicious but the serving staff were a bit grumpy. There's also a shop that features local cheeses and meats, wine, and craft items. It's worth a visit in the fall to secure a pumpkin and let the kiddos burn off a little energy.A side trip to the Jelly Belly Factory is only a short 15 minute drive away and worth the effort.

Attended fall festival here today. They had live band, make your own taffy apples, grilled hotdogs, hamburgers, and roasted corn. The Halloween Decour, and all of the confection treats and deli were fantastic. They sampled popcorn, cheeses, and made sure everyone was happy and all questions answered. The corn maze and hay rides were an added treat!

Borzynski's Market! What a jewel!First of all, it's lovely on the eyes--from the flowers outdoors, to the fresh produce inside, to the wide variety of foods they have in store.I went in, hoping to find something for lunch. I sure did find something! They have a deli inside that prepares fresh food. I had a soup and salad. Both were outstandingly delicious and tasted fresh.Fortunately, the temps outside were pleasant and the weather was perfect, so I could partake of the beautiful outdoors while eating lunch. The only drawback I observed is that it's by a busy roadway (Route 20), but if it hadn't been on that roadway, I wouldn't have found it.I'm hoping to go back for dinner!

A stopoff in Racine, and my friend inquiring about fresh fruit led us right up the road to this, not so hidden gem. As you walk up to the entrance, it's covered in all variety of plants. They have one group of flowers on some kind of mat. Beautiful pots. I could picture this on my porch. Inside they have everything. I left with elderberry jelly, pickles, and a rootbeer. Melons, as big as the round watermelons, and juicy. You need a very large knife. The place is huge, and loaded with stuff. They even have a bakery /deli way in the back. Make this a stop on the way to Chicago.

Wonderful fresh produce and great boutique grocery items. The field flower arrangements were so cute this summer! $4.95 got you a large, rusted tin can packed FULL of beautiful local field flowers. I ended up ordering a dozen of them work a picnic themed event I did in August and received many compliments.I stopped by on my way up north to grab a few goodies for the parents as a surprise treat. After eating the fresh apple pie (it was still warm when I paid for it) my dad swears up and down that his mother is still walking the planet. It was that good. Now I'm told not to bother coming to visit if I don't have a pie with me. They have freshly baked bread and rolls, too.Nice selection of cards and gift items. There is also a greenhouse attached to the main building. Boars Head meat and cheeses are cut fresh at the counter at the far end of the store. While in line at the cashier, I also noticed a little loft area with tables.I nice place, with some local flavor (literally.)

Definitely Racine's best kept secret for lunch! They have a great variety of sandwiches, sides, chips, and drinks for lunch. All freshly made and with boar's head meat. Grab a drink and eat in the sunny atrium.Head to Borzynski's if you have more than 30 minutes for lunch and want some good quality food.

I LOVE BORZYNSKI'S!!!I moved away years ago, but every year around the holidays I call Borzynski's to make a floral centerpiece and gift basket for my Mom. The price is very reasonable (especially when you compare it to those companies like Harry and David that charge outrageous prices for what is essentially a beautifully wrapped box of shredded paper, and a few tiny boxes of treats). Every year Mom calls ecstatic about her flowers and fruit/cheese/cracker/chocolate basket. "You've outdone yourself!" She tells me every year. I almost feel guilty, because all I do is tell them an approximation of what to send, and my budget, and they always put together something Mom adores.Another thing I like is that when I call the person on the phone is always nice and helpful, doesn't sound fake, doesn't try to sell me something more than I want, and I always hang up knowing I'm in good hands and Mom will be happy. I wish every phone ordering experience was this pleasant and had such a nice outcome.

Great place to buy a xmas tree. Trees are always healthy and they make sure it's secured for the road. Don't buy the fudge in the case though. Just bought two squares that should have been thrown out weeks ago. Chocolate Fudge was white and bone dry on the inside. Completely inedible.

The worst experience ever. Called them in advance to reserve some items. Came in a couple days later to pick the items up and was told that they don't know anything about it and only have half of what I want available. The lady, she identified herself as an owner, was aggressive from the get go and not friendly at all. we would have bought the half order but I have never been treated more rudely at a business than here, not even close. I also shopped here last year and had a similar experience but I wrote it off as a one time thing. Definitely seems to be a trend. Do not recommend doing business with them.
