Bopp's Bar and Grill

Came and got lunch at this place in Harvard. It was surprisingly not that bad, and even good in a few ways. Bopp's is considered to be the oldest bar in town, but it's hard to know by looking at it. Clean inside mostly and modern looking TVs showing games. The drinks are mostly beers, and the food may look basic but is better than it looks. Bigger interior and roomier than expected. It looked like it would be pretty cramped from the outside. There's a big bar at the end and quite a few tables. Also multiple TVs had games on. The rest of the entertainment includes slots. A good choice of drinks. It's about $7 for the Moonshine Slushies. Cool stuff literally. They had pumpkin apple spice flavor among others. As for the food, there's burgers. Pretty big ones from the looks of things. Also people like the ham sandwich. It's about $5 for a basket of tater tots. Always good to munch on these between drinks. They apparently also have a veggie burger if looking for that. For around here it's pretty good. It's nothing fancy but it's not some dumpy place with crass locals all saying stupid things, mostly. This is great for watching a game, playing on slots, or whatever.

A great local "dive" bar and restaurant. The menu consists of mostly specialty burgers and wraps. Food was excellent, service was prompt and attentive. Looks like a place where the locals go. Always what we look for when traveling.

Came in for the first time tonight. I got a burger and my wife got cod bites. My burger was so so so so good. Tons of flavor. My wife loved the cod bites. Nice people good food

This is a clean and friendly sports bar with good food. I stopped in last Saturday for Lunch. I had the ham sandwich (popular with the locals). Most places if you order a ham sandwich you get thin sliced cold cuts. Not here. My sandwich was crafted with thick chunks of tender ham that I'm guessing were cut off the bone just before serving. It was very good. They also have video gaming machines for those that are interested. Overall a good place to eat, drink, and watch sports. Probably best option in town.

Had the patty melt and Italian beef. Both delicious. Nice friendly place. Would go bak and try the boasted chicken.

Love Bopps! Great family friendly bar with an awesome food menu. Not just bar food, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is great and the service is incredible, especially Peg! She is the best!

Ordering from this establishment last year was an experience that left me insulted and queasy to say the least.Hungry and deciding on a Rueben sandwich for takeout one day, I walked downtown and picked it up. Upon returning home, I sat down to eat. I saw that the cornedbeef seemed dry but being hungry, I took a giant bite. It was not long before I realized that the meat was well on its way to turning rancid or "a little loud" as some folks say.That's not the end though. Examining the contents of my "Rueben" I was shocked to see that what I thought was dried out nearly expired cornedbeef was actually dried out expiring roast beef. I'm not a restaurant jerk looking for some kind of "perfect experience" every time I eat out or order but man, I gotta give Bopps two thumbs way WAY down

Sam, the owner is great. She is establishing a family friendly environment where adults can enjoy an adult beverage. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Fresh meat makes a big difference. Yesi is also a great server. Very friendly group and involved with the community. I would highly recommend a visit.

Very friendly staff! I've never came to Bopps after 8pm, but the burgers are delicious and juicy.
