Boosters Sports Bar

I stopped here as a new place to check out while in town. The place is definitely and upper scale neighborhood dive bar with a pool table in back and nice comfortable stools with padded backs. The place is definitely a neighborhood click place and as nice as the female bartender was when she was done with me she hung with the regulars only talking. Her service was good and I saw no signs of having any food. They have a posted special of $7 strawberry daiquiris.

This place is everything you could want from a local watering hole. The bartender, Erica, is a great conversationalist and quick with a suggestion for those who don't order "the usual." Although this isn't a flashy bar, it usually has drink specials on already low prices, so you can drink without spending all your money. There are some pool tables, electronic dart boards, video gambling, Touch Tunes jukebox, and a punching machine. On some nights, you may find a food spread out for a party or live music playing on their stage area.The best part is that although this is a "dive bar," it's not full of drama. It doesn't try to be anything other than what it is, if authenticity means something. Boosters is right in the heart of downtown South Milwaukee, so you can even stop at the farmers market next door in the summer. The bar is always clean when I've visited, and the architectural details of the building add extra charm. I especially like the copper ceiling and stained glass.

A dive and dirty bad sports bar. The bartender was ignorant and the pace reeked like it gets a cleaning once a month. Several balls are missing on the pool table and the place is very dark as they are too cheap to keep the lights on in this place. Many of the machines and games are out of order and this bar might as well as be out of order as well.

Amazing bar! Bartenders are great, attentive and make sure you are always taken care of! Very inviting atmosphere with free pool daily, darts, and a golf simulator to rent out for the cold months of the year or anytime year round! The owner was a great guy too and genuinely appreciates the customers coming in to support his business! Definitely a place to stop by if you're in the area. I found my new go to bar in South Milwaukee!
